The girl fell back with a huff, observing the carnage around her. It had been a difficult battle, as made clear by the superficial wounds in her flesh and rips in her clothes. She looked around nervously, hesitantly dropping the bottle which had become her club once her bells finally took effect- regardless of how stupid those men had seemed, they realized quickly that those bells could be lethal when she managed to make them work.

Letting out a sigh she pushed herself up from her seat, her green eyes searching the bodies which littered her floor before finally falling on the silver bells, still clasped in the hand of one of the now deceased soldier. Tentatively stepping over the others as she made her way towards the only soldier which mattered, Halo grasped her weapon and heirloom, yanking it out of the dead grasp with great difficulty. After that was done she moved towards her room, quickly bathing to clean her wounds and getting fresh clothing. Grabbing a pack, which she filled with the basic necessities, Halo quickly fled the room, and then the house, locking the door behind her. As she set out down the street she knew that there would be more trouble to come.

And surely it came. In a form which shook her to the bone. As she stared at the bone-like creatures, she decided then and there that they were something to be exterminated.
