White stepped out to the docks again, but this time, with his owner. It seemed there was a slump at home in the past week or so, and the two fighters, Bijou and Caesar, had been at home nursing themselves and training idly in that gentle manner. Nothing eventful had happened, but Bijou had grown increasingly agitated because she could not go out to the arena. Perhaps it was the best for her, though - she sustained some bruises going out into that fight not so long ago...
White looked up to his owner, making a small whine at the very heavy rain hitting his pelt. It was a little miserable, to be honest, and he was so glad he had the company of his owner with him this time.
At his owner's signal, he shot out into the waters, hearing a lightning crack just before he went in. How scary.

As White made his way up with the pearl, he pondered whether being wet would make him more susceptible to becoming one of the lightning's prey... What happened when the lightning hit the water, anyways? These thoughts during this moody form of weather plagued his thoughts, making his sight not so keen in the depths of the waters.
He gave his owner the pearl - just a standard one, nothing special. White looked away, embarrassed by the find but swore he would do better this time.
His legs carried him back out to the docks, jumping into the water to find his second pearl. While doing that... he hoped the lightning wouldn't get anywhere near him this time. The sounds were quite unsettling.

White heard the crack of lightning from above almost as soon as he plunged into the water. He was worried; it scared him into a frantic state, and he hurried up to get his second pearl, shooting straight up back to his owner. That wasn't his last time, he knew, but still, he wanted to get this over and done with so he and his owner could go home.
Drat - because of his worries, he didn't take the time to inspect what he brought up for his owner. Oh, well. His next try could yield better results...
White went back into the waters again, shivering from both the weather and the constant pressure of water beating down on his fur whenever he surfaced.

When White gripped the pearl in his mouth, he felt its integrity, and suspected it was the exact same one he brought back to his owner just before - he immediately dropped it, turning around to look for another one. Just one more time... and he could bring something better! He sniffed around and poked at the sands, hoping to see something more shiny and prettier than usual...
And when he found it, he went back up, content for now to show his last pearl gathering to his owner. The two then rushed back home, hoping to dry as quickly as they can and get away from the frightening weather.
