Setsuna looked from Aqua to Isaiah. "So. The two of you have agreed that you will do whatever it takes to bring Leander back?" She wanted to make absolutely sure, though she was aware that Aqua would immediately agree to follow through with it. "There is always a price, but I am willing to do my part and try to contact my father."

Nagisa rested silently in Setsuna's arms, having drifted off to sleep again, like a normal infant would.

She nodded. She would do anything to get back her husband. Isaiah nodded as well. Aqua gave him a quick look, then sighed. Isaiah was a determined young boy, Aqua knew that nothing she said would stop him from doing whatever he wanted to.

"Very well." Setsuna eyed Isaiah for a moment, taking his youth into consideration. "First we have to sit back and talk. We must discuss the important thing that you're willing to sacrifice." Setsuna turned her eyes back to Aqua, speaking mostly to her because she was the adult. "Until we get in contact with my father, we must have a plan, or at least a backup plan in case he is too busy to even have an audience with us."

Aqua sighed and covered her face with her hands, leaning her head back onto the couch. "That's where I'm stuck.." She said softly, removing her hands from her face. "What do I give up? The kids and Rayce are out of the question, I refuse to give up someone."

"It does not have to be a person." Setsuna reassured her. "It can be something else that is significant or essential to you." She nodded solemnly. "Like I said before. My mother gave up her fertility to become a goddess. It was something meaningful to her, that she had to trade for something even more meaningful."

Nagisa yawned with a slight whimper. Her legs twitched as she rolled over onto her back, snoozing softly in Setsuna's arm.

Aqua focused on the infant in her aunt's arms. "I don't necessarily feel like my fertility is essential for me. I'm happy with the two kids I have, and I can't be too sure if I can have kids anymore anyways." She bit her lip and thought for a few minutes. What did she find significant or essential. Her senshi powers could be one. "Would Senshi powers count, or would it have to be something even more dear to me?"

"Senshi powers do count, yes." Setsuna nodded to her. "Limbs also count. I've heard of a man who sacrificed his arm to Lady Hestia to rid his son of a bad illness, yet she was merciless and only took three fingers." She said. "The Primordials are pretty good about analyzing the situation, depending on how much is offered."

"I don't think a limb will be sufficient for a soul and body." She said softly. She'd have to say she was closest to her senshi powers if anything or .. The thought hurt her more than losing her senshi powers. Her sight. "I.. I could give up my sight." She said softly.

"That...is good thinking." Setsuna nodded. "That's the way to think like a god. But let us keep thinking of others. We may figure out something that might be better."

She closed her eyes thinking about it. She seemed to be thinking about what else she could give up, whereas she was actually diving into the darkness around her eyes, realizing that if she gave up her sight, this is how the world would look to her. Her eyes shot open as Isaiah said softly, "I could give up something mother." Hearing the words from her son not only sent a jolt of fear running through her, but also illogical anger, for him not understanding that she wasn't willing to let him sacrifice anything. She took a few deep breaths then said calmly but strictly, "You're not to give anything up. Got it?" He opened his mouth to speak, but her icy glare cut him off.

Setsuna nodded as she watched the exchange. "I too wouldn't want you to give anything, Isaiah. You have your whole life ahead of you to make these kinds of decisions." She reassured him with a soft smile. "Trust in your mother, dear boy. She knows what she's doing."

Aqua nodded firmly. Isaiah bit his lip and said softly, "But I want daddy back as much as mother does. The quicker he's back, the quicker Alice will talk to me again. She hates talking to me now, because she's in denial that daddy's dead, and thinks that he's just gone away for a while." His eyes grew colder as he spoke about his sister.

"I understand your pain, dear boy." Setsuna nodded to him, speaking to him gently. "But sometimes in order to see something happen, we must put our control into someone else's hands." She glanced at Aqua. "And in this case, that very thing must be done."

Aqua gently held onto her son's hand, and he gripped tightly onto hers. She could practically feel how much pain he was going through sitting here, but she knew that he wouldn't leave. He was a determined yet stubborn boy, and it took a while for him to do something he didn't want to. Aqua nodded. "This sacrifice must be given by me. It won't do if you give it." Isaiah nodded slightly. Aqua then asked, "Would it be okay if Ulrik came? He had offered to help me with Leander's revival as well."
