Name: Leonora Shoup --- - Why Leonora?: It is Italian for 'light', in which I was thinking like a guiding light to eternal peace. --- - Why Shoup?: No particular reason. We passed by a 'Shoup' street and well... I thought it sounded beyond awesome o3o;
Nickname: N/A
Age: 24
Birthday: June 4th
Sign: Gemini
Gemstone: Moonstone
Blood Type: O+
Fav. Food: Things made with liquor (doesn’t matter if it’s a little or a lot; Leonora can taste it). Everything just tastes better with it, really <3
Hated Food: Soup… Seriously… Do you –have- to ask why?
School: N/A - Works as a Massage Therapist!
Hobbies: Volunteering – Day to day, week to week, people can probably find Leonora at a community retirement home, the local animal shelter, or sometimes a homeless shelter. She knows that sometimes people, or animals, need a little bit more love in life so she’s very much willing to devote time each day to doing just that. Without a trip to volunteer somewhere each day, Leonora would just feel a little bit empty inside, like she was missing something. It's not that she's emotionally connected to the people/animals/etc. that she meets, but more so the tasks themselves.
Handmade Jewelry - The first time Leonora decided to make jewelry of her own was when she just couldn’t seem to find anything that she wanted to buy. A friend from middle school suggested that she just buy a book and learn to make them herself, and she was hooked ever since. Although she’s greatly improved and has had many people compliment her work, Leonora is unwilling to sell her work. If someone else but herself has something she made, it was given to that person as a gift. If someone asked her to sell a piece of her work, she would very much just give it away.
Yoga – To make her general self (physical, mental, and spiritual) better, Leonora practices yoga. Although her balance isn’t the best and is considered a little clumsy, Leonora tries her best and takes classes three times a week. She feels that the pace of life stresses people out and sometimes they miss the little things in life. Yoga helps Leonora slow down and enjoy life a little bit more. Sometimes, she even drags her friends that have never done it to do something new!
Virtues: Sympathetic – Although she tries to stay away from, Leonora likes to be nice to people (at least the best of her ability) to help them enjoy the day a little more. She can somewhat sense the emotions of people around her and if she feels that one of them is sad, she tries to make them feel better, either with a hug or smile. If Leonora can’t make them feel better, she is sad herself and will stay by that person until they feel better.
Respectful/Grateful – Sometimes when Leonora gives a bow to someone that helped her during the day, even if it was just some waiter at a diner, people think of it is as ‘weird’. To Leonora however, it reflects the gratitude and extreme respect that she has for people and what they do. Working as a massage therapist, she’s experienced talking to the people that work in the so called ‘grunt’ jobs that no one else wants to do. Leonora also is very aware of the people that have lived longer than her and have seen and done a lot more in life. With this knowledge, she doesn’t want to take life for granted, so Leonora tries her best to show how grateful she is.
Patient – Stress is one of the things Leonora doesn’t want in life. She sees too much of it in her field of work. With this, she tries to be as patient as she can. Whenever she feels like she’s losing it, Leonora takes deep breaths until she feel as though she is calm again. People don’t irritate her that easily, but when she is, for the most part, she can calm herself down. Patience really is a virtue and to Leonora, it’s one that she had to learn and accept over time, not something that came naturally to her.
Flaws: Sharp-tongued/Blunt – While some are harsh through actions, Leonora’s words can slice a person quite deeply, both when she is upset or not. Leonora is not easily angered, but is heated if it comes. (Her anger normally appears with people doing things that put themselves or others into danger, or leading some one the wrong way. It stems mostly when someone else is fed lies/are being deceived.) She expresses her feelings the only way that she can, through blunt words. Leonora would think she'd be saying something like "Be careful of what you're teaching them!" when it really is "You're being stupid for teaching them in that way."
Overly-Generous – Leonora very much cares about the people around her more than herself. She’s willing to give up stuff for people even if she doesn't know them. The people she works with and the ones she sees day by day have understood this and sometimes take advantage of it. She constantly wants to relieve other peoples’ stress and either forgets about her own or doesn’t really realize how stressed she really is. Her hobbies reflect how she tries to stay stress-free, but with her self-sacrifices for those she’s not even emotionally attached to, sometimes she just gives too much. In a more materialistic manner, Leonora gives out her money and possessions so often that it causes her to have to squeeze every penny of her paychecks, even sometimes being in the red.
Emotionally attached – With her parents passing away when Leonora was young, she didn't really have someone to emotionally latch onto. Because of this, Leonora finds companionship in almost everyone she meets. She has the need to connect to someone else's emotions, else it would lead her to being a bit depressed. Leonora likes looking for those people that seemed to be either emotionally attached to someone as well or needs someone to be attached to them. For all other people, they may not appreciate what is happening and she would need to find another person. Leonora would not physically cling to someone, but instead would find ways to contact them a lot, whether through phone calls or some sort of messaging.

Knight Title: Meru Page of the Cosmos --- - Mount Meru (Taken from Encyclopedia Britannica) Hindu mythology, a golden mountain that stands in the centre of the universe and is the axis of the world. It is the abode of gods, and its foothills are the Himalayas, to the south of which extends Bhāratavarṣa (“Land of the Sons of Bharata”), the ancient name for India. The roof tower crowning the shrine in a Hindu temple represents Meru. As the world axis, Mount Meru reaches down below the ground, into the nether regions, as far as it extends into the heavens. All of the principal deities have their own celestial kingdoms on or near it, where their devotees reside with them after death, while awaiting their next reincarnation.
Challenge: “Let me guide you to eternal peace.” (Eternity, rebirth, stars)
Uniform: Elegant, non-combative, utopian; ethereal sparkles and prisms slashed with 1920's Mucha
(( See Ref For All <3 ------> )) Top – Sleeveless dress, top is white then fades to different shades of blue and then a little bit of purple. There's a purple ribbon that wraps around her neck. The ribbon is also at the top of the dress and holds up an opaque cloth that's lighter purple. There is a silver star where the neck-ribbons meet at the dress. Bottoms -- ^ Dress Gloves -- More like sleeves than gloves. The top is tied by a purple string and so is the bottom. In between, there's an open part that you can see the arm (middle of the open part is the elbow area). Belt -- Silver cloth with dangling ribbons. The actual belt part is a ribbon and is tied at the front at the side in a bow. On top of the center of the bow is a white star. Shoes – Flat boots, only ankle high, flaps that fold down, Star and cloud-like attachments Shoulders -- N/A Accessories – Blue fading into purple ribbons tying up the ends of her hair. Star ornaments at the end. Silver star earrings that dangle. A light fading to dark on the edges headband (?). Silver stars on that too? (Would divide the bangs and rest of the hair.)
(( If possible, add a little bit of sparkles at the bottom of her dress/sleeves? ))
Weapon – Page – Simple ring attached to a bracelet; Silver in color (( Example )) --- - Effect: None
Squire – Same ring and bracelet concept, but thicker and bigger ring; more added decorations (( Example )) --- - Effect(s): The stones of the bracelet/ring glow blue (the stones would be moonstones). Can heal skin-woulds (scrapes and bruises that are not that deep). If she tries to heal a deeper wound, there would be no visible effect. --- - Limits: Can heal for 30 seconds in any time interval, as long as the total doesn't exceed 30 seconds.
Knight – Same ring and bracelet concept, but even more elaborate; can have bigger jewels, etc. (( Example )) --- - Effect(s): The stones of the bracelet/ring glow blue (the stones would be moonstones) and the silver of the bracelet/ring glows as well (meaning the whole thing is glowing). Can heal skin-woulds, and some deeper wounds. Can not heal if wound is near-death or something would have to be amputated. --- - Limits: Can heal for no longer than 45 seconds. Healing is quicker for smaller wounds, so she would be able to heal more at once, but if it were a bigger wound, it might only be one healed.
(( I noticed someone else questing the same weapon concept, so if anything, her weapon would be cloth belt -> thin chained belt w/ string accessories (like her current concept art w/ribbons dangling) -> thin chained belt with thin chains dangling w/thin chain accessories; Squire/Knight stage would have increasing amount of star-shaped moonstones as well! ))
Main Color: White Secondary Color(s): Celestial-like (Blues, purples, silvers)

Further information
I have already been forewarned about possible problems about using a place from a religion that is still a major practice today. If anyone at all has a problem with this concept, please PM me and talk to me about it. <3

Very nice character overall. She's well rounded, and you played her faults with her virtues. I do have a few questions.
You point out she's overly generous, but she's also unwilling to give her jewelry away. Is there a reason that there is an exception? Is this the one case where she's unwilling to give something to someone, because she is unsure of how long they will last?
You mention without volunteer work, she would feel empty. Now being emotionally detached (or restrained to a degree of not getting TOO close to someone), does she get stressed this way? She also has lost family, which means does she also handle death poorly seeing as she visits homeless shelters and nursing homes?
These are more general inquires as your profile overall does work well. Not really much to critique here.

Thanks for reading and critiquing 8D
Leonora is willing to give away the things she make, she's just unwilling to sell them (for profit, yah know?). She doesn't like to take other peoples' money even for something that she worked hours on. She's the type to prefer straight out giving than doing things based on an exchange.
As for volunteering, she just likes having people in her life that she can help out. She knows that she can't give them too much and she knows that they won't live forever. As a child/young adult, she had issues getting to know anyone because she would be afraid of losing them, but now, she gets to know them and lets them get to know her, but would not put any emotional attachment to it. (That makes sense, right? XD)
Death was only an issue while she was younger. Nowadays seeing people grow old and die in nursing homes, she understands that it's inevitable, even though sometimes it feels like people are taken away too early. Leonora wants to make their lives happier even though she might not know/accept that they do the same for her. But any volunteering as a whole makes her feel happy, not necessarily the people/animals/etc. she meets. I guess it's the feeling of giving back?

Hi, Heart! Let’s see about getting Leonora ready for acceptance!
THE CIVILIAN
Her hobbies look good to me! There’s plenty of opportunity for interaction with other people/characters there!
I’m seeing just a few slight discrepancies between her virtues and flaws, mostly between “patient” and “passive-aggressive,” and “emotionally detached” and “empathetic.”
In “patient” you say that Leonora avoids stress and isn’t easily irritated, and when she is she can calm herself down rather well, yet in “passive-aggressive” you’ve written that her anger is quick and she isn’t always capable of controlling herself in those instances. She can certainly be both patient and have passive-aggressive moments, as everyone has their moments of weakness and different people deal with it in different ways, but if she isn’t easily irritated then what does it take to finally set her off and lead her to making the passive-aggressive comments?
In “empathetic” and “emotionally detached” my question there would be, how does Leonora prevent herself from becoming attached to people when she’s so perceptive (and receptive) of their feelings? A lot of times empathy can form attachments between people whether they want it or not, so I’m interested in seeing how she would avoid this. How does she push them away, and how does that affect her empathy, her generosity, and her sense of respect for them?
THE KNIGHT
First I want to say that the ref outfit you have is adorable and should definitely work for a page of Cosmos! XD
The only problem I see with her attacks are in the usage limits. Pages/squires/knights draw from a pool of magic. With them as opposed to with senshi, you want to note the total amount of time their magic can be used for. Only if the effect of the attack is something quick (lasting ten seconds or less) would you want to note a total number of uses. With healing, I would suggest the former rather than the latter, so setting a total amount of time she has available in her pool of magic.
Since Meru is only dealing with minor cuts and scrapes in her squire stage, I would suggest a magic pool lasting around 30 seconds. This means that she can heal continuously for 30 seconds, or in three 10 second increments, or in two 15 second increments, or any other combination so long as she doesn’t exceed 30 seconds total.
For her knight stage, you can either add a boost to her squire stage magic, which you’ve done, or you can add a completely new effect. It’s up to you! Here, too, you’ll want to note a total amount of time her magic pools lasts (I would suggest 45 seconds as things are now) rather than “five times” or “once every thirty minutes.”
And that’s all for now! If you have any questions, especially about the knight magic (since I know that can be confusing), definitely let me know! Once you’ve made the necessary edits, you’re more than welcome to quote me and I’ll give this another look ASAP! <3

OKAY. I think I fixed stuff xD My two questions are... 1. So if it's time periods instead of how many times, how fast does their energy pool regenerate? 2. If I were to make a different effect for the knight stage... What would it be? XD Thanks for all our help and sorry if I've been slow xD

Omg, I'm so sorry for the wait getting back to you! Let's go ahead and get this show on the road! THE CIVILIAN I’m still seeing discrepancies between “patient” and “passive-aggressive,” as well as “empathetic” and “emotionally detached”! I asked a few questions last time to try and clarify, but there’s still a little too much conflict between them for them to be nicely balanced! You might want to consider switching out “empathetic” with “sympathetic” if you’d like to keep “emotionally distant.” Feeling empathy for people is just such a present thing, and can lead to so many attachments, that it doesn’t seem to mesh with the more emotionally distant vibe you seem to try to be going for with her flaws, whereas sympathy can be a little more distant since she wouldn’t necessarily be sharing the same emotions with the people around her. In her virtues, as well as in her “overly-generous” flaw, Leonora seems to be quite an emotional being, so “emotionally distant” just isn’t meshing with the rest of it. You could always work with it, maybe have her capable of showing/giving sympathy, being purposefully polite and patient, and then having sort of a “robotic” flaw where she’s capable of turning all of that off and being more detached (like she can switch certain parts of herself on and off to suit her needs/surroundings, but that might actually make her more manipulative and looking out for herself more than for other people), but then you’d still need to work around “overly-generous.” As far as “patient” and “passive-aggressive” are concerned, these two don’t seem to be working because “passive-aggressive” is reading less as “passive” and more as “aggressive.” Passive-aggressiveness is very rarely so blunt. People generally hold bits and pieces back and only let a little bit through, maybe a few nonchalant comments here and there, or things that might seem nice but weren’t intended to be. Passive-aggressiveness is really more of a veiled sort of anger/annoyance/negativity, but in Leonora it’s reading as very overt and too obvious to be considered appropriately passive. If you want to make some more edits and then have me look it over again, I’d be glad to! Or if you’d like to try switching things around a bit to make certain pieces work, we can definitely try to work on that! POWERED SECTION Just a few little things here! Under Squire limits you have written “as long as the total is 30 seconds.” This would read better as “as long as the total does not exceed 30 seconds!” To answer your question about energy pool regenerations, this isn’t going to happen while she’s powered. Once she’s gone through her magic pool, then that’s it for that battle. Most battles tend to end relatively quickly ICly anyway, and you don’t generally see multiple battles occurring in the same day/night, so once Leonora’s had some time to sleep/rest, her pool of magic should theoretically be recharged the next time she goes out for a patrol (again, this is following the established pattern of relatively short battles and only one or two a night). Since her abilities are healing abilities, I would assume she would only end up using them when they’re needed, which might not even be that often depending on the frequency and severity of battles! As for another effect at Knight stage, you are welcome to come up with something to your liking as long as it fits Cosmos’s themes of eternity, rebirth, and stars! The healing you have already works well with that, so if you’d like to just make her healing ability more powerful in her Knight stage, that would be perfectly acceptable! Or if you’d like to wait and sit on it for a while (maybe you’re struck with an idea later/once you’ve got her and you want to implement it), you could always revise and have it accepted at that point! (That particular thread can be found here.) At the moment, the powered portion of her profile is acceptable for stamping as is once you’ve made that minor edit I mentioned above!

Thanks for reading again, Sun (: For the civilian bit, I changed bits and pieces to help it read and explain better, as well as... Choosing different words for the overall characteristics xD Reworded the powered bit as well as added a secondary weapon as a precaution.

Oh, gosh, I meant to mention coming up with another weapon idea as a precaution the last time! Good thinking! At the moment, keeping the bracelet/ring combo should be fine, but with another quest going for the same thing it's definitely a good idea to have a backup in mind! A belt should work just as well if it comes down to it! As for Leonora's civ profile, it's reading very well! The changes you've made help the virtues and flaws tie into one another better now! The only thing I want to point out is in her "emotionally attached" flaw, in which you include "depression" as well. I wouldn't necessarily consider depression itself a flaw. It would effect her personality, yes, but depression is a medical condition rather than a true flaw. You can certainly have parts of her personality that would be a side-effect of her depression, which is how "emotionally attached" is reading right now, so just tweak that a little bit to focus more on the emotional attachments and less on the depressive aspect and you should be good to go!
