In pokemon... Why does Oak look American? Ash looks American or something, Misty looks kind of American. And Brock doesn't look like anything. All the gym leaders besides Brock and Misty look Japanese, and all the people they meet either look Japanese or American. Pokemon has no consistency between America and Japan. Oh and there's that Gary kid... He makes me think European for some reason...

Oh god I forgot about that XD Honestly, that's probably the only car in the entire series that isn't owned by some evil secret government or police system.
