Elton ran into the Gryffindor common room, ignoring the annoyed looks several of the girls were shooting at his noisy entrance and stopped to catch his breath. He probably should stop racing everywhere if he wanted to be able to breath better...but he couldn't help it. Constantly being stuck in a seat listening to droning teachers and trying not to fall asleep was severely affecting him. He was getting antsy and was constantly bouncing and moving his legs in an attempt to try and stay active. He really wished the breaks were closer together..but that couldn't really be changed.
Finally..his breathing slowed and his heart slowed to a more normal pace, much to his relief. He often had these weird sensations..like his body was wired and humming and he could never stop it. Not to mention that his heart sometimes wouldn't slow down..no matter what he did. He couldn't help but wonder if perhaps he suffered from something other than hyperactivity. Something that no one knew about.
He was about to sit down on an empty couch and then remembered what he had come here for. He had been coming to get the pictures of the sword duelists for Siianna and had ended up racing her again. He frowned..and looked around for her. Had she fallen that far behind him? Perhaps he should go look for her.

Siianna giggled when she realized that while she slowed when others were about Elton did not and he'd already left her in his figurative dust. knowing she'd already lost she sauntered to the tower smiling and shaking her head as she found more evidence of Elton's route. By the time she made it to the common room she spotted him on a couch looking around. " You know you left me a trail of misfortunes to follow, don't you." Her tone was light and slightly amused knowing he hadn't meant to actually disrupt anyone.
Smiling she sat on the couch next to him. "Have time to retrieve your photos before I arrived?"

Elton grinned cheekily at Siiana and laughed.
"Oh I figured I did. My mom calls me a cyclone cause I leave so much destruction in my wake."
Elton couldn't remember actually sitting down on the couch and his cheeks went slightly red when she sat down next to him causing a few girls to giggle at him. He jumped to his feet, his hair swishing around hitting the sides of his neck. "Actually I hadn't gotten to that part yet. I was wondering where you had gotten to..and was going to go look for you. How come you're so slow?" He teased.
"I'll go get them now." he said flashing a smile at her and then ran right through a crowd of older boys causing them to fall back with shouts of alarm and annoyance. "Sorry!" He called back without slowing or stopping.
Once he was inside the boy's dorm it didn't take him long to locate his bed, as it was still mussed from the night before. He cringed when he saw it and stopped to smooth out the blankets and right he pillows. His mother would have whupped him if he had left his bed in such a state at home. He had no idea if the boy's dorm was ever inspected..but figured that it would be smart to just keep his area clean from now on to be on the safe side. He didn't want the other boys hating him or despising him for getting points taken off.
Elton was glad to find his night clothes had been washed and folded and laid on top of his trunk. He took them off and laid them inside then pulled out his journal where he had placed the pictures for safe keeping. He pulled them out of the back of it and tossed the journal back into the trunk and locked it, pocketing the key. He really should have done that earlier. He knew the other boys would more than likely "borrow" things if he left it unattended. It was surprising that no one had taken advantage of it being unlocked.
He glanced once more around his area to make sure there was nothing else laying about. "Oh..I mustn't forget the book I'll need for next period." he said smacking his forehead lightly.
He unlocked the trunk again, and pulled out his next period's book and sighed at the front. Another lecture class. Hopefully he would survive it. This was going to be a long long day.
Then he relocked his trunk and bounced out of the boy's dorms and back to where Siiana was waiting. "Here they are!" He said excitedly and handed over the dozen or so pictures to her.

Siianna laughed not in the mean at you way but in the can't deny the truth way. "Cyclone does fit, it shall be your new nickname." She gave him a wink.
She would have questioned his rushed move to stand but then again it seemed he moved like that normally so she just smiled. " Think of my slowness as a test of patience for the sparing practices." This she had to say louder since the kid was already flying to get the pictures. She laughed again and shook her head. The kid was going to get someone killed if he kept up at that speed.
When he didn't return within a minute she got curious as to what could be taking so long but she managed to occupy herself watching the others go about their business. She pulled her legs up and crossed them, people watching was an enjoyable past time and one could learn so much. It seemed most were anxious about this class or that. One or two seemed shy and she made a note to talk to them at some point.
She watched Elton bound over to her, thankful that he didn't run anyone over this time. Smiling she took the pictures from him and placed the pile in her lap. She did a quick flip through and let out a low whistle at a couple of them. "These are great photos. You ever thought of pursuing photography?" He'd gotten some really good shots and more then one would be very handy in her training.

Siiana's laugh echoed in his ears and Elton felt a slight stirring in his stomach and frowned slightly. What was going on with him today? He was definitely off somehow. Why was this girl making him react in such odd ways?
He shot a smile at her, so she didn't think that he was mad at her. "That's me. Cyclone Elton. Too bad it doesn't rhyme though."
Elton found himself laughing at her comment of being slow. She was something else. He really should slow down, he knew. He just felt as though there wasn't enough time in the day to do everything he wanted if he went the normal pace as everyone else.
Elton laid his book down on couch between them and watched Siiana as she looked through the pictures. Her compliment had him blushing slightly, gods he hoped none of the other boys had noticed or he'd never live it down.
"You really think so? I may have to. I bet it would make me slow down more. So are they going to be of any help to you?"

Siianna paused her study to look up and smile at Elton. " A nickname doesn't have to rhyme with your real name. You don't even have to use your real name. You could be Elton the Cyclone. Now that sounds epic." With a wink she went back to the pictures and stopped after a few moments before setting them on her lap.
" I really do think that these are some great photos and they are going to be such a good help. And with a little practice I bet you'll be getting offers on your photos." She lifted the photos and shook them slightly at him as she spoke of their to be worth. "Did you bring your camera to school? I bet you could get some great shots around here. Everything's so scenic" She threw her arms out wide indicating the whole castle.
She glances down at the pictures afraid she'd managed to bend them but sighed a bit when she saw they were fine. With a smile she handed the pictures back. " If you don't mind I may want to look at these again soon. They already gave me a few ideas to try."

Elton thought it over for a moment, his eyebrows knitting so close together it looked like he had a unibrow. "I suppose you're right about that. Now that works quite well, and it is epic!" He agreed with a smile.
Elton was a bit surprised that she liked the pictures so much. He glanced over them trying to see what she saw in them. He hadn't thought much of taking pictures before now. One of older brothers had given him a camera for one of his birthdays and had told him to bring it to the sword match. He hadn't really been focusing that much when he had taken the pictures. He had mostly just taken pictures of what he had hoped would be cool moves.
"You really think people would pay me to take their pictures? That would be cool. I did bring it, though I haven't used it since I got here. I don't know about the scenic stuff, I'm more into action. I know! I could try and take pictures of the older students playing Quidditch! That would be fun. And I bet if I get some good ones the school paper would want them."
Elton was glad he had found something new he could do, though he wasn't sure he'd have that much time to do it. He was normally playing in all his spare time.
"Well I'm glad! You can borrow them anytime you need. Just let me know when you need them." Elton said taking them from her, "Let me go put these back, looks like our break time is nearly up. I'd better get back to class." He added with a loud sigh.
"Tell me, why do they have all these stinking lecture classes! It's hard to sit still and listen for so long!"

Siianna nodded enthusiastically. " I do. And going to the paper sounds like an awesome idea!" She was glad she could help him discover a new path to look into. She stood after he took his pictures and smoothed out a few creases in her skirt. " Thank you I may have to take you up on that." Flashing him a brilliant smile flung her bag over her shoulder and tilted her head towards the exit. " They make them lecture classes so you'll never stop appreciating your freedom to run between and after." She paused for a moment. " Why don't we meet up after classes today and we can begin your training?" She hoped he was still interested in training even if he was taking pictures.

Elton beamed. "Good. I'll have to try and take some pictures on the weekend, there's too much going on during the week to take the time." He watched Siianna get up from her seat and carefully run her hands down her skirt. He wondered why girls did that. Were they just that adverse to getting wrinkles in their clothes? Then again..he had noticed that a wrinkled hufflepuff had gotten points taken off from their House because of how slovenly they had looked. Perhaps it wasn't that strange after all. He frowned and looked down at his own slacks. Thankfully they didn't look that bad, he looked back up hoping he hadn't gotten caught examining his clothes.
Elton laughed at her assessment of the lecture classes. "More than likely." He agreed, "Sounds good to me. Shall we meet here? I'll probably have books and stuff to stash away after class."

Siianna nodded at his assessment of the week and shifted from one foot to the other. " That's fine, though you'll more then likely beat me back here with plenty of time to put your books away." She smiled and gave him a playful wink. " See you after classes Cyclone." With a small wave she turned and sauntered through the portrait door. She didn't mind if he wanted to walk a ways with her but she knew she'd have to start out now or she'd be late.

Elton grinned at her reply. "Yeah I probably will. I shall see you later Sii!" he replied and waved back at her and then watched as she slowly made her way through the portrait door. Then he raced back to his room and put the photos back in his trunk, grabbed the books he needed for his next classes and shut the trunk.
Then he was racing off to catch up with Siianna.
It didn't take him long to catch up with her, as she moved so slowly. He grinned at her as he slowed down to her pace. "What class do you have next? I forgot that second years have different ones than first years. I think I have herbology next. While it's not entirely boring..it can be a snooze fest at times."

Siianna refused to think she walked slow, she preferred to think of it as steady,paced or with grace. She almost seemed to glide across the floor, which wasn't as easy as it looked. The wind rushed from behind her as Elton slowed to join her. She offered the boy a smile in return for his grin. " I have Transformation next., it's really interesting. then off to Defense against the Dark Arts, my favorite class. Herbology has a lot of useful knowledge. Especially if one decides to go exploring around the grounds." She was of course talking about her own adventures but no need to encourage the boy to get into trouble.
" Would you care to sit with me at Supper tonight?" She looked at Elton when she spoke but made sure to keep one eye on where they were going and effortlessly weaved them through the crowds without bumping into anyone.

Elton itched to run, but he had promised to walk with Sii so he kept matched his pace to hers and fought the urge. He inclined his ears to listen, but kept his eyes out on where he was walking. He didn't want to collide with anyone..that would just get him in trouble. He new he'd be a pariah to his House if he was constantly getting points taken off for running and not listening to the teachers. His mom would say that Sii was a good influence and that he should hang out with her more.
"I find Transformation fun, it's cool to see how things can be changed from one thing into something else. I haven't been too successful with the spoon yet. I guess I need more practice. If we could practice outside of class I bet I'd get better at it. I suppose Herbology would be more fun if I could remember what the plants do. I keep mixing them up." He replied with a frown.
Elton perked up at the invitation and nodded saying, "I'd love to! Looks like I should get moving though..I don't want to be late. My Charms teacher hates when I get there late."

Siianna silently noted how Elton walked, after all it would come in handy when she helped him with his footing in the arena. " I think you can arrange to have some practice time with your Professor to help you with both those things. And reading up on Herbology will help too."
Siianna smiled at Elton's reaction and nodded for him to be on his way. She knew he was dieing to go run."Have a good afternoon Cyclone." Sii was so glad to have another sword enthusiast to talk with. Most everyone else just looked at her weird. With a shrug she turned down the hall heading to her class.
