hair a creamy blonde, styled in a slightly off-center waterfall much like this or this (right).
eyes bright golden yellow; rather large and expressive.
expression generally very determined, but usually smiling.
markings i think just three little markings, much like whiskers, on each cheek would be nice. but instead of making them a few shades darker than his skin, maybe make them a few shades lighter?
animal parts his ears should be relatively small, but still look pointy like a rabbit's ears. his tail could maybe poke out from the back of his outfit? as far as color goes, i'd like them to be the soft caramel color, like the fur of the rabbits in the pictures in this thread.
build shinobu's a little shrimp. he's tiny, even as an adult, and he has a bit of a complex about it. he'll probably be relatively slender, as well, but not quite to the point of being the typical "shota" type. at most, he'll be about five feet and four or five inches tall.
clothing i can see him in traditional japanese clothing, much like this. he'll be extremely tiny, even as an adult, so the sleeves would probably either completely or almost completely conceal his hands (possibly with just his fingertips sticking out). as far as fabric design goes, it's largely a toss-up. colors should probably coordinate with his eyes (yellow) and his hair (light blonde/buttermilk), but other colors are up for debate (artistic freedom, hooray)! he would probably just wear simple geta sandals, so that's easy.
other given how clumsy he is, shinobu would most likely be seen with at least one band-aid on at any given time, whether it's on his knee, or his leg, or his cheek, or anywhere else.
