Akimichi Ichizoku
(Lit. Akimichi Family, 秋道一族)

Element: No Element.
Indigenous: Konohagakure.
Staus: Noble shinobi clan.
Village Fact: Often work in a trio with a Nara and Yamanaka.

Ability: Members of the clan possess great physical strength and are able to quickly convert calories into chakra, which they then use in their various secret techniques. Most of these techniques rapidly consume the user's chakra during use, and maintaining them during a prolonged battle can be tiring. For this reason the Akimichi have high chakra levels and eat a lot in order to build up or replenish their chakra reserves.

Physique: To put it bluntly the Akimichi are fat. Even though others may see this as a negative trait it is their reserve calorie storage that allows them to use their array of jutsu. It has also made them a strong and hearty people.

Overview: The Akimichi clan is one of the four noble clans of Konoha and has been around since the founding of the village. For as long as anyone can remember they have stood bye Konoha and proudly defended the village.

History: After the Senju-Uchiha peace treaty during the warring clans era the Akimichi were one of the earliest of the noble families to be brought into a pact that would become known as Konohagakure. Their family has stood by Konoha throughout the early years all the way to the current days. Throughout this time they have shared a special bond with the Nara clan and the Yamanaka clan. For generations, members of these three families have formed "Ino–Shika–Chō" trios, named after the first part of the names of the members with the Akimichi members being the "Chō" in the trio. To strengthen the unity between the three clans, a member of the Sarutobi clan will give them special earrings to present to each generation head when they are promoted to chūnin after which they will swear their oaths. The earrings also symbolise that they are considered adults by their respective clans.

Habits and Social Structure: The Akimichi are heavy eaters by requirement. The clan's techniques require large amounts of chakra and as such the clan members must have a large calorie reserve so that they clan convert the fat into chakra. As a result of this you will often never catch an Akimichi without food. As for the social structure of they clan they are like one large family. One family member acts as the head of the family but this do not appear to be a long term job as during the the sandaime hokage's second term the clan had already seen fifteen heads while the village had only seen four kage. Many members of the clan bear the prefix Chō in front of their name.

Fun Fact: Clan members wear the kanji for food (食, shoku) on their clothing.

So I'd like to use a formula to determine the bonus to chakra and the penalty to dex and seduction based on their Str. and Con. stats.


Name: Baika no Jutsu (倍化の術, Multi-Size Technique)
Description: This is a secret technique passed down in the Akimichi clan that increases the user's body size by converting their calories into chakra. The user can freely alter their size at will when using this technique and can use it for an extensive period of time. It can give the user a very round appearance as mostly the size of the abdominal section is increased. It can also increase the size of their entire body size, making them into a giant.

Name: Nikudan Sensha (肉弾戦車, Human Bullet Tank)
Description: A threatening taijutsu trick that converts the users obese frame into a destructive weapon. The user first uses Multi-Size Technique to make themselves into a human-sized ball, then they tuck their in limbs and use chakra to propel themselves into a powerful roll. Its effective use of weight and the force of rotation make for an even greater lethality than appearances would let on, enough to pulverise someone's hand with but a mere touch. It is difficult for the user to turn in this form. This technique has the added effect of plugging up the user's ears.

Stage III: [Ninjutsu] DC 30, The user will practice moving and smashing into things before mastering the technique
Special: Immune to genjutsu cast through sight, sound, or smell.


Name: Nikudan Hari Sensha (肉弾針戦車, Spiked Human Bullet Tank )
Description: With its effectiveness raised several times by using it together with weapons, this technique is an enhanced version of the Akimichi clan's Human Bullet Tank. By using either kunai or a technique similar to Hair Jizo the user covers their body with spikes to accomplish the above.

Stage IV: [Ninjutsu] DC 35, The user will practice using the jutsu with their body surrounded by kunai or a hair jizo like technique
Special: Immune to genjutsu cast through sight, sound, or smell.
*Add attack melee if kunai used, add 2x (2 per 10 ranks in ninjutsu) if jutsu used to create spikes
*Add 2 per 10 ranks in ninjutsu if ninjutsu used for spikes, add weapon damage kunai if kunai used.


Name: Chō Baika no Jutsu (超倍化の術, Super Multi-Size Technique)
Description: The Super Multi-Size Technique is the height of the Multi-Size Technique, which multiplies the user’s body to a size beyond belief. The attack method depends on the situation and the user’s inventiveness, but massive punches, kicks and body slamming is common. However, the abnormally extreme physical change also places a large burden on the user’s body.

Stage IV: [Ninjutsu] DC 40, The user will practice using that large build up of chakra to drastically increase their size.
Special: While in use add + 20 damage to Nikuden Sensha and Nikuden Hari Sensha

Name: Chōharite (超張り手, Super Open Hand Slap)
Description: After using the Multi-Size Technique to increase their size, the user funnels chakra into their hands, which causes special markings to appear in them. The weight and power of the hands are greatly increased because of the larger size, the muscles are activated with concentrated chakra, and the thickness is also increased. With so much chakra that it becomes visible, the user's palms become like an iron hammer. This gives this attack the power to even cave in the earth, causing extensive crushing damage to anything that may be caught beneath them. This attack is also shown to have a wide range due to the increased size of his palms.

Name: Chōdan Bakugeki (蝶弾爆撃, Butterfly Bullet Bombing)
Description: This is a life threatening technique if used in combination with the red Akimichi food pill, which burns away all of a ninja's excess fat and converts it into chakra. Because the members of the Akimichi clan tend to be overweight to support their techniques, this pill can give them 100 times their normal chakra level. The intensely concentrated chakra that is gained leaks out from the backbone and becomes visible through friction with the shoulder blade, appearing like a butterfly wing. The user then concentrates the unique chakra into their fist, and then puts all their body weight behind the punch. The massive amount of chakra concentrated is enough to change the user's body structure, and the user will die unless given medical attention as described in the Nara clan's medicine book soon after.

Name: Karorī Kontorōru (カロリーコントロール, Calorie Control)
Description: This ability allows members of the Akimichi clan free control of the calories in their bodies to perform their clan's techniques. The Akimichi developed the Three Coloured Pills for easier use of this technique, however, the pills have risks. These effects are not seen when the user performs the technique without the assistance of the pills. At the highest level of the technique, the user converts calories into chakra and releases the chakra in the shape of two large butterfly wings.

Name: Hōrengan (ホウレン丸, Spinach Pill)
Color: Green
Effects: Increase chakra by x5, after 15 turns deal 5% of your new max Cp as Hp damage.

Name: Karēgan (カレー丸, Curry Pill)
Color: Yellow
Effects: increase chakra by x15, after 10 turns take -10% new max Cp as hp damage and -2% as Cp damage

Name: Tongarashigan (トンガラシ丸, Chilli Pill)
Color: Red
Effects: increase your cp by x100, after 5 turns take -20% new max cp as Hp damage and 5% as Cp damage

Due to there weight they are not as fast. How often did we see Choji doing the "Wait for me guys!" bit. And they aren't exactly stupid, but not exactly average either.


And Multi-size is not E rank.

We (Ken & I) never really liked the Nikudan Sensha technique because we felt that either a) the kunai would become stuck in the ground due to the Akimichi's weight or b) the kunai would become stuck in the Akimichi due to the Akimichi's weight.

Other than that, the idea of a strength based (and not in brawn but also bulk!) clan is great when you consider that we have lots of glass cannons cough Hyuuga Fubuki Dex based stuff... >.>

I think you should bring the Akimichi soldier pills into play, but make them clan-only for a bigger edge. What I mean by that is that only Akimichi would have access to crafting/obtaining soldier pills. [We removed them from the system a while back.]

I think the guild vice captain should give my 3 character who all have 2 soldier pills something to take their place ...

EDIT: For real though, they can do the technique without kunai.

Yeah I had no idea what to put there. I set red to 100 because that's cannon but it does seem a little over the top. Other than that the red pill needs to work in some way that it will basically kill you.

As for Hari Sensha, football players probably weigh somewhere around what an Akimichi would and their cleats don't get stuck so I sorta feel like it would work.

Well after reading it all through, I don't see any issues at all. Its looks solid and probably won't be a problem to use in Kohona. So I vote a yes for this....
