I dressed up my avatar as a Maid for Halloween/Samhain cause I think they are cute and its awesome how they clean for you and bring you coffee and cakes and stuff.
Anyone else dress up their avatar for Halloween/Samhain?

Sailor Moon is great xd The anime is awesome, and the movies too. They're releasing the manga again biggrin (hint hint: buy them!!!!)

The outfits have slight differences (Sailor Moon wears a mask in the first few parts, and her tiara changes a lot, Sailor Mars has a red jewel above her skirt, Sailor Jupiter has a rose belt) There are storylines that are in the anime, and some which aren't. Likewise the anime has some storylines that aren't in the manga (the first part of Sailor Moon R with The Doom Tree, for example) Also, the Sailor V manga is out as well. It's the first time they've published it outside of Japan. Didn't do much for Samhain except for handing out sweets and eating the leftovers. I don't have much room in my house and my parents would have made annoying comments. I usually just light a candle and make up a quick prayer. What did you do? biggrin And yay Yule! I'm already thinking about what things we can do for the party.

I wrote letters to my grandparents that have passed on.
I burned them in my cauldron, with some Samhain incense I made.
(I found out when you burn dragons blood resin when it melts it can look almost like blood)
Plus I made an offering of mulled cider.
This was Halloween day the day before I went to a Samhain ritual/candle lite visual that was just so beautiful with the sunset in the background.
So yeah I had a delight for Samhain ^.^
To save money I'm going to make my presents for people for Yule (something I should really get to doing since some of them are time consuming)

Musical_Vampire_Socks I'm trying to find some Pagan Carols for Yule I think it would be fun to learn some.
Yeah kid's likes are always changing you can drive yourself crazy trying to keep track of the fades eek
If anyone is looking for ideas for things to made by hand for Yule here are some:
For my sister I'm going to sew her a pillow with cats on it since she has always loved cats and my Dad likes to wear Hawaii shirts a lot so I thought I would sew him a Hawaii ball cap.

I'm 22 xd
I just found a bunch of carols and printed like 100 pages of them! rofl Lol wow that's a lot of paper! xd And hell no, lol. My parents are very very Christian. So Christian in fact that my childhood Halloween was attending non-Halloween parties at church. I think it was around the time that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was playing on TV, and naive me was like 'wow, magic is actually a religion?' I had a friend who wasn't really brought up with religion coz her mum was Catholic and her dad had taken up Buddhism, so she bought me a book on witchcraft. It was kinda weird at first. I was slightly freaked out since I was Christian, but at the same time I wanted to learn, so I hid the book among my school books so my parents wouldn't find out. I even hid a tarot book under a couch in a caravan we went to on holiday, forgot it, and had to email the site to beg them to please send it to me (which they did, which was very cool)
