/// Setting

In one of the hotels, Prisca had rented out a large ballroom for her little party. Decorators had been hired to assist her in fixing it up for the season. String of lights hung from the ceiling in black and orange. There were little holiday monsters tied by strings onto the light wires, hollow ghosts and cats and other typical mascots of Halloween. They didn't appear to be those cheap decorations one might find in dollar stores. They glittered with fake gems.

On the floor, rows and rows of tables held food and drink. From soda pop to various kinds of alcohol. From crackers and cheese to little sandwiches. Most of the dishes were disguised as something disgusting. One punch bowl contained something green and almost slimy looking, with black 'moss' sitting on top. There was a stack of brownies with green icing and little gummy worms. Among many other creative confections.

The lights had been dimmed, so the only source of radiance came from the Halloween lights strung across the ceiling. Classical music was playing from somewhere unseen. Though it was designed with the holiday in mind, there was still a sense of high class about the whole place.

Fig stood outside of the hotel with invitation and mask in hand. She had heard of the place before yet she had hardly any knowledge of how big or grande it appeared until now.

She looked up at the tall luxury building and gasped silently in awe over it. Excitement soon overwhelmed her when she began to think of who this "Ms. Prisca" person was. Did she happen to overlook Fig painting in the park one day and wish to get to know her better? Perhaps grant her the possibility of finally getting her paintings into Atelier Castelia?! She nearly jumped for glee as she thought more on it but managed to collect herself before she would be noticed.

Taking a deep breath, Fig closed her eyes and counted to ten before moving to fix her mask in place. There was no need to get overly excited about anything. She knew nothing of this "Ms. Prisca" person. This was probably just some round-a-bout ploy to get some money. 'Yes. That's right. Just a quick way for some pocket money.' Fig thought solemnly to herself. With this new thought hovering in her thoughts to help aid in the masking of her excitement, Fig entered the hotel and followed the gestures from the bellhops towards the prepared ballroom.

Upon entering the Halloween themed decor of the place, Fig sighed with relief. She had worried that wearing something a little more elegant would be pushing it, but it was a masquerade... How can you not wear something like a simple ball gown to a masquerade?!

She wore a soft orange blouse with belled sleeves under a brown velvet corset that criss-crossed the straps in the front and tied off in a small bow upon her chest. A big orange bow rested upon the small of her back between where the corset ended and the skirt (even with it's extra layers upon the butt to look like something Cinderella and her stepsisters wore to their ball) started. The skirt was long and layered, colored brown to match the corset with a very small line of pink trim along the bottom. Small pink bows wrapped themselves around the ankles of her brown velvet boots and also around her wrists to match. She wore her hair down for a change, so soft white-blonde curls gently fell around her face and mask to just a bit past her shoulders.

Thankfully, she managed to hide her counterpart under the layers of her skirt. That extra head of hers always seemed to get in the way during social occasions. Whether by chewing on.... something... in the middle of her eating or talking and disrupting whatever mood might be occurring in the moment or by biting/chewing on some poor unfortunate individual who manages to get to close. There was a bit of relief that her extra head would be hidden as this seemed to be a rather extravagant invitation from a rather wealthy individual, however there was some anxiety of keeping it hidden. It was her body guard of sorts so she wouldn't be warned of someone sneaking up on her. Not that she could see much more than straight ahead with her mask on, but still...

Her mask was rather simple being just enough of a mask to form around her eyes and create a small beak over her nose. It was painted orange to match her blouse and butt-bow with small brown feathers lining the top. A soft pink seemed to be airbrushed on to to "cheeks" of the mask to appear as a blush of sorts and three long pheasant feathers in brown arched from the center of the forehead of the mask and out over her head and hair.

All of it was simple, yet still elegant to match her ideal of what a masquerade should be. She was proud of her "costume" - so to speak - as she had made most of it herself for the Halloween holiday. Usually to appear as a medieval witch or barmaid. The mask had just been her latest addition for this particular event.

Her bright blue eyes peered through the eye slits of the mask, looking to see if anyone else was there or had shown up at all. She had spied the table with food upon it and felt her stomach gurgle at the thought of eating, but the reminder of what her tail does when eating made her think twice about trying anything just yet. Perhaps when others arrived to mask it's irritating sounds with their talking... Then she could attempt to nibble and see how she gets noticed.

'Speaking of others...' Fig began thinking to herself. 'Where is everyone?'

There was a hesitant moment for Aysuu as she walked into the ballroom. Though she herself was used to being in the spotlight as a performer, it did not quell her outward shyness around large groups of people. She had not been around the Gijinka population in some time. Nor anyone else for that matter, having taken a rather long hiatus up in the mountains enjoying the frozen ice and swirling snow.

But she was rather pleased when she received the invitation and had quickly made her way back to civilization to prepare. A stop by a small shop which also made her performance outfits completed that task, and she was happy with her choice.

The dress was floorlength and seemed as light as a feather as she moved across the floor. The irrdescent colors of pale purple and the icier blue complemented the color of her hair and the grey-blue hue of her skin.

The mask she wore was made of a light metal painted a deep blue, looking more like an intricately carved ornament then a mask which hid her identity. Instead, it allowed glimpses of what lay beneath. The polished crystals that bedecked it peeked out from the long pale blue feathers that arched above her brow and curved backward behind in a graceful show.

She was all-in-all proud of her outfit, and hoped it didn't make her stand out too much. Though a creature with flowing hair that brushed the floor and long ears was hard to miss.

Peeking about, she noticed other were beginning to file in. Most outfit equally gaudy and beautiful, and some more into the Halloween spirit. A smiled curved upon her face.

This was going to be fun.

The secret to the invitations was nothing shrouded in romantic mystery. As much as they appeared so, Prisca had merely asked around and did some research to locate all, if not most, of the Gijinka spotted in the city. Personally, she only knew of the existence of a few. She could count on two fingers how many she knew, whether their names escaped her or not. Unless they were complete hermits and only had a handful of others attending them, she was quite confident she had reached them all. It was, unfortunately, quite possible she had missed one or two.

One presence instantly came to mind with this thought as she swished her way around the tables, rearranging a glass here, a tray there. Though she had been in Celestia for nearly three years, now, only the past year was she aware of the signal of the other Mewtwo resident. She never asked how long he had been there, but the entire time he was, they had somehow gone about their daily routine right beneath the nose of the other. Prisca had a sense of the other Pokehuman in the area, though it was a much weaker signal than with one she shared an obvious connection with.

That was one face she was sure she wouldn't be seeing tonight, at any rate. The Pokehuman of Celestia didn't get together enough.

The woman wasn't too far away, standing in the middle of the large room. Too large for the Pokehuman population, she was sure. But she liked making an impression. And she had so many pretty decorations. They would be crammed together in a small space. In her black dress, she was hidden mostly by the shadows, standing coincidentally between two strings of Halloween lights overhead that mostly hid her in the shadows. Her pearly white hair was covered halfway by a dark grey veil attached to the mask on her face so that the top of her head was clearly visible. The veil stretched down to her shoulders, a little bit shorter than her silver hair so that the longer tips of her hairstyle showed resting on her shoulders. The feathers of the mask crept up her head to circle the grey horns on her head, nearly hidden by the dark blue floof. In a way, the horns might appear to be a part of the mask instead of attached to her skull. Not that she was trying to hide. She just liked the style.

The pitch black dress was designed like something out of history. It was low cut in the front, a corset that pushed up the already ample cleavage of her chest. Not enough to look painful, but enough to show the affects of a corset. It was done up over the shirt of the two piece dress, the sleeves off shoulder and hanging loosely on her arms, much like the sweater short dress she was so fond of. The skirt was wide, slashed with dark blue, with many volumes of petticoats underneath. Her hands were bare, the wrists with a bracelet each. One was silver with dark blue gems. The other, looking much cheaper, was a charm bracelet with a little heart. Around her throat was a necklace to match the other bracelet, with earrings dangling dark blue. Being a jeweler by passion, Prisca was often not without something in her ears and on her neck.

If the horns were perfectly hidden to the one looking at her, the only other indication of her species was perfectly concealed by the many skirts of her outfit. Purple eyes peeking out from behind the half mask were the only signs of a Mewtwo's presence. If the one looking wasn't, in fact, a Psychic Pokemon.

"Good evening!" the half darkness shrouded figure suddenly shouted, opening her arms wide in an enthusiastic show of friendliness. In one hand, she held a closed blue fan. "I don't expect much of a turn-out, but that doesn't mean what few are here can't enjoy the night." Putting down her arms, Prisca clasped them in front of her skirt, one hand holding onto the other side of the fan instead of her other hand. "I am the one who sent the invites. Prisca Barone."

Note: Anyone else joining after this just assume you've entered before or after Fig and Aysuu, but before Prisca spoke? She doesn't want to redo her grand introduction. xD

Fig nearly yelped in surprise, her form visibly jumping and spinning in surprise as someone seemed to make themselves known. From somewhere upon her person, a somewhat snarling sound emitted, followed by the undeniable sound of chomping teeth - which only made Fig blush darker upon the sound of it. In the end, poor Fig had merely been startled, but not completely shaken by the ordeal and she quickly shook her head and giggled faintly in embarrassment.

"My apologies!" she started after a brief moment to collect herself. "Fig, Miss Barone! A pleasure to meet you!" She curtsied a bit, being careful to not dip too far down. With her second head enshrouded by the layers of her dress, she wasn't sure if it would attempt to snip or bite on her own heels if they were close enough. She was never sure with how it perceived things. "I must thank you for the invitation!" she added, although a bit nervously.

Fig hadn't been to very many parties in her lifetime... if any at all. She didn't seem to get invited to them. Either that or she just didn't know many who did such things, which is likely the case. There was hardly ever a time that Fig would go out and be social if she didn't have a paintbrush, pencil or sketchbook in hand.

In all honesty, Fig never bothered to use her powers much, so using her psychic abilities to determine the species of the other had never crossed her thoughts. The ensemble that the hostess wore seemed to catch her attention. She decided it best to silently marvel at the items she wore while giving the other a chance to respond to Prisca's greeting.

Looking quite handsome in both tuxedo and floral rose mask, Florence moved through the crowd easily hoping to attract some female attention. Florence was in heaven all the lovely women dressed in elegant dresses and hidden by masks. The roselia smirked handsomely smiling as he passed by who should he try and flirt with first? Maybe he should wait a while longer it really didn't look like there were too many other guys here either, meaning of course more for him. He never did talk to the others as much as he should too busy chasing girls.

A gorgeous woman in her black dress moved into the center of the room catching his attention as she rounded the tables speaking to all the other pokehume who had finished arriving. He certainly would have some fun during this event one way or another. Florence gave a polite gentlemanly bow to their host "Thank you kindly for inviting us all fair Miss Barone." He spoke after Fig it was only polite to let the lady go first offering thanks.

Florence was quite pleased to be invited and to mingle with everyone, as exciting as it would be though he wanted to start talking to someone a bit closer to his age, judging from the others here he had a sneaking suspicion that they were all much older than he was. Not that it had ever stopped him before; One step at a time.
------------------

Slipping through a portal through space Oblivion simply just appeared as though she had always been there instead of the door the others were coming from, Oblivion found it a much easier way to travel instead of walking everywhere such a tedious task it was quieter too. Moving across the floor to greet Prisca after her welcoming speech the pair of legends where after all friends and Oblivion wore the necklace the mewtwo made for her from the ancient orb. Oblivion smiled softly greeting the mewtwo.

Contrasting to Prisca Oblivion wore a pure white and silver dress coloured like moonlight, in Victorian style with frills, layers and a long train her tail hid itself, shawl over her shoulder covering the two glass orbs that jutted from her shoulders. The only tell tale of her previous form showing for Oblivion were the wings on her back and eyes showing from behind the mask she wore, she wasn’t even sure if any of the others would recognize their significance, pity. She did enjoy the attention of being a deity pokemon but it was for the best they don’t at least not yet. Oblivion had made the dress she wore herself as she did most of her clothes

Without even having to look around Oblivion knew where everyone was in the room and what aura type they had, Water, psychics, grass and the location of the strongest Aura, hiding her form beneath a black dress most wouldn’t even be able to tell what pokemon she was unless they could sense the powerful aura Prisca gave off.

Good Evening Prisca.”
