So like... pearl isn't really a gemstone.... Sorry, its not. sweatdrop
So we've been trying to think up something for days to make it fit the mofit, and we got an idea...
Pearls are artificial in creation... sorta. They're grown organically instead of through geology.
Sooo what if Sapphire (the old one), bombarded you with energy to create a fake senshi. (think Animates). ninja
If we do the invasion scenario, then you can help him invade, and then either stay on his side, or switch sides to good.
And then because you're not a naturally born senshi, if you want, you can be all green rangery, and have powers that are unreliable, creating issues to RP out. ninja
Edit: Could throw Sailor Amber in that bucket too. Have a little team going there if we can think of one more...

That could totally work.
I'd have to tweak her story a bit, depending on WHEN Sapphire bombarded me with energy.
Originally I have Pearl finding out her senshi powers after a car accident, but I don't think Sapphire would give her energy then, or would he?
Cause after the car accident, like a few months later, she was locked up in a mental asylum cause they thought she was crazy and crap.
I'll help him invade and it would make sense if he came to her and took her onto his side like right after she came out of the asylum because she was quite emotionally weak, and probably wouldn't be as stubborn if he proposed an idea to her about helping him. She'd also probably think it was for her own good and he'd be able to help her and stuff.
So she'd help him invade, believing that it was all for the greater good, and then slowly realize that what she was doing was wrong and become a rogue senshi.
That might also make sense to her strong dislike of liars, cause he'd have to lie to her for her to come onto his side and invade with him.
Sapphire talked to me about the whole green ranger idea, and I'm totally up for it.
Cause Pearl's somewhat weak when it comes to her senshi powers anyways. She usually fights with spells instead. And slowly she can just get better and better. c:
