Looks like we got another dose of comic earlier than the 25th.
...I'm glad to see that the Gaian populace has caught on to the fact that crazy stuff happens on Halloween. Their apparent blindness to the weird stuff that happens every year had begun to remind me of Sunnydale.

All I can think of with Evil Timmy apparently being behind Halloween and Lanzer's vague hint that it might be similar to werebeasts... Well, I really hope it's not going to be Gro-gain 2.0... gonk

Edit: Trick or Treating has started in shops, Jack is on the world map (!!!) and the Von Helson mansion is clickable on the map, leading to a flash space where you can do a quest of some sort (I have yet to figure it out, though).
AAHHHH!!! It's Halloween!!! blaugh
Edit again: I figured it out! There's a thing at the bottom of the window that says Mask: [X] and you click it to choose a mask, then search the area for an object (invitation, hors d'oeuvres, dance card), then you get an alchemy recipe for a brooch, which uses the items you collected.
Edit one more time: The number of candies you have to collect is 19. ninja

The timer for the candy is a bit bugged. It still is the same time as the past few years but it appears to count up the time instead of telling you how long you have to wait for the next candy.
