Today, I slipped in a puddle of acid and landed on my a**.
Seriously. It was funny. Imagine a banana peel in place of the acid, and that's exactly how I slipped.
Afterward, when the safety people came to claim my acid-spotted jeans (which will be likely incinerated), since I had no change of clothes, I was given an arclite suit to wear. Imagine a coverall made from tan tarp material. Eww. I was one large, crackling-as-I-moved sumo-wrestler-lookin' tan blob of absurdity. Thankfully, I was given regular coverals later.
I'm fine. This also contributes to the hilarity. It would not have been funny if I landed on the broken bottle that held the acid, certainly.
Yeah. It's been one of those days. sweatdrop
Anyone else had a day recently?

Those sorts of accidents are how super heroes/villains are made.
I just got back from a library book sale, where I picked up 20 some books for 5 bucks. Good times, and now I have a book on how to speak Sinhalese.
There was also a record set teaching native Malay speakers Russian, which I almost wanted to get just because it was so odd, but I passed it up.

I recently tried to hop from my bed to a nearby computer chair, it slipped out from under me and I fell all onto one side of my bum. The best part was it seemed to happen in slow mo and my fiance was watching me at the time. Fun times xd

At least the acid I fell in can only give you acid burn blisters. (We use a 90% solution, which can cause severe burns.) Granted, this wiki doesn't mention what formic can do to a person once past the skin, say in an open cut. It dissolves fat, which hurts a lot, especially deeper in. This could have been worse, which is why I'm still laughing about it.
Maniacally. Super villain, definitely.
That's a lot of books, and Malay > Russian is a weird transition with characters alone, I'm sure.
xD I do that in the lab, too. High office chairs on floors that are waxed weekly make for treacherous seats.
I felt like I was in slow mo when I fell. My dad was standing next to me (and put the bottles on the counter that caused the fall).
