 (Click for Video)What's this, another event/contest? What madness is this?!Well, the madness is Kiln wanting to do something fun in the guild to get people back to participating XD And yes, I realize Halloween is a good deal away, and you know what that's part of the fun of having an event. Anyways, so I'm feeling adventurous here so here we go XD
The idea is simple: I would like people to post here as if they are literally their character dressed up in some costume (I'll give ya a setting in a moment XD). Now here's were the fun comes in, I would like for said people, if applicable, to make their avatar resemble their character and have them dressed up in some way (clearly I have not done this yet. I'mma work on it.). I will be giving prizes to those whom I go, "Oh, I like -w- " And hey, I might give out random gold for no reason at all (granted I don't have much so bear with me XD)
The contest is for Halloween, so if you want to participate simply have your avatar dressed up on Halloween and I'll try to get on and see it ^.^ In the meantime though, have fun here, it's the idea!
((Do note: Eliana Yaine and Eamonn Lancaster CAN participate in this. They're already made characters, I'm aware, and one of them is mine, I'm also aware, but it can happen. Eliana obviously won't win a contest, but she'll be around here posting so long as I see some interest ^.^ I'll even dress her up.))
Setting: (I leave your imagination to decide most of this but a basic layout) You open your eyes to view in front of you a dark ballroom with what appears to be real bats flying in the air. The room is rather foggy, which is kinda creepy on its own, but it seems inviting at the same time. Outside it's pouring, so going outside would just lead you to get soaked, Why not stop and have some fun? It seems like it's supposed to be a party of some kind anyways.
Rules; Simple, Have fun. I don't need pretty posts or anything, I don't even want long character posts. Use ** for all I care (I probably will XD) This isn't a real formal thing after all.

Raigon opened his eyes and sighed a bit. He looked around through the holes in his mask. His mask was black with holes only for the eyes, the mask was white with red flames starting from the bottom. He was wearing a large black cloak with his scythe attached to the back, supposed to be a type of reaper. He was leaning on the south wall.

"Aw, I hope Ea shows up... I got all dressed up for this and everything. It's not much I suppose, but I thought and Orientalish vampire would be fun!"
Eliana is padding around the middle of the large room, looking through the smoke and fog for a familiar face. To be noticed, she seems to have forgotten shoes and because of this is moving around rather silently aside from the swishing of her outfit.

Faith hummed to herself as she walked towards the drink table in her little Alice in wonderland costume and set down her fake "drink me" bottle. She sighed a bit and looked around. "Vaylin is taking a long time in the bathroom." She mumbled.

Ezio slowly walked into the room with his pipe in his hand, smoke billowing as he looked around the scene with a small smile on is face. He was in a really good mood, Astor deciding to stay at home so instead Ezio found a nice big wolf to take with him. He himself had decided on a fancy werewolf attire set....like he had just come from a prom. He himself was just walking around, the large wolf at his heels, eating whatever food it could find around while Ezio's hand lay on it's head. He himself was looking around for any familiar faces...clearly trying to stay clear away from Eamonn....but there were good reasons behind that. He held his two swords at his hip but he left the Chakrams at home, just liking the swords on him appearancewise.....but he just wandered...looking for anyone of familiarness while he began to hum, the smoke billowing from his mouth as he exhaled.

((Much to my dismay, I can't make Vaylin, so I made a tek-tek. I'm not in the competition, but kiki wanted me to post for him. Here you go: Vaylin, Bonus points who can guess what he's dressed XD. A hint, DN Angel.))
"Wow... this is incredibly uncomfortable." Clothed from neck down, Vaylin was about as warm as he had ever been in his entire life. Why he had been compelled to dress up as this guy was beyond him, but he'd done it, though his hair and eyes were massively wrong. Some things couldn't be helped.
Vaylin moved away from the wall as his wings shuffled behind his back, his attention scanning the floor for the familiar face of Faith.

The can-can, a classical dance that if injected with enough humor in it's performance, could be enjoyed by anyone or anything. And that was exactly what Raiikel was doing, with magically cued musical accompaniment. Ah, perhaps it was him having the spirit, or just being so incredibly giddy with the idea of this event, he had no idea. But spinning his rather ornamental staff with the a large violet jewel on a end as he danced, he ended with a bow as the music swelled and soon came to a end. A wicked smile coming across his face, he didn't really care what anyone thought if they had or had not given him any mind. Still playing around with the ornamented rod, he began to take a few steps to get a better look at a few other of the guests who had been so formally 'invited' to whatever this little get together was.

Chi was happily wandering around ballroom seeing peoples costumes and looking at the pretty decorations. Her little red hood bounced lightly as she walked around. She was dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood, and she loved her costume very much, Faith made the little dress for her which Chi appreciated.
The little neko smiled with curious eyes as they danced around the room. When her eyes stopped and rested on Vaylin, who was standing close to a wall not to far away. A little evil grin stole the smile that was on her face as she thought about scaring him. Chi ducked under a nearby table and began to duck from table to table to get closer to him without him noticing her. When she finally reached a table that was in jumping range to Vaylin, Chi took a deep breath and leaped out, wrapping her little arms around his one leg. "Boo!!!" she shouted pretty loudly. The leap manged to make her hood fall over her eyes, Chi laughed.

 "Ah!"
Vaylin had not seen the little girl sneaking up on him, so when she did finally strike, it had surprised him. Perhaps she would find his 'Ah' to delayed though because he glanced at her before doing it. He had been surprised, but not that surprised.
"Hello there, love. What are you doing?"
With that, Vaylin pulled back the hood from her eyes so she could see again.

"Ooh, this is kinda cool actually." Mira said to herself as she wandered through the ballroom. It wasn't everyday you saw a kitsune dressed as a fairy, but there's a first time for everything. The only problem was she kept accidently hitting people with her wand. Her pink eyes lit up as she spotted the buffet table, and she made like a shot for it. There was all sorts of Halloween themed food. She speared a toffee apple flavoured cupcake with the end of her wand and leant against the wall, munching it and watching the other costumed guests. What mischief could she get up to here? A cheeky grin spread across her face as she pondered that thought.

The neko's laughter grew louder when she heard a startled sound come from Vaylin. Her sneak attack had been a success. "Gottcha!!" she teased as she continued to hang onto Vaylin's leg.
"I'm practicing sneaking up on people" she answered his question, then giggled again as he removed her hood from her eyes so she could see him. Her big blue eyes looked up at his. "What are you doing?" she asked him in return.

Vaylin smiled gently at his daughter she she laughed louder at the prospect of scaring him. His hand gently rubbed her head as his eyes scanned the crowd.
"well you're getting pretty good at it, love. I'm looking for your mother. Ah, I see her. Come." With that, Vaylin took Chi's hand and started towards Faith whom he had caught sitting at a table on her own. Several people had showed up now, but not many had taken to moving about the dance floor quite as readily as Eliana who seemed to be padding around with a smile on her face as she looked for someone. It drew a smile to Vaylin's face as he thought about that.

Ezio was wandering around mischievously, the wolf now known as Akira on his heels. The wolf was currently gobbling up cake but it still managed to keep behind Ezio as he looked around to cause some fun trouble. Pulling out a firecracker, he saw Eliana walking around...a sinister look on his face. Going on all fours, he began to pad forward, looking like an odd combination between a fox and a werewolf as he snuck underneath the fog provided in the area....before popping up in front of Eliana with a grin on his face. "Rar." He laughed before disappearing in the smoke...an odd hissing was being made as SOMETHING rolled towards Vaylin and Chi, before exploding with ten loud SNAPS....a troublesome laugh coming from somewhere in the fog.

Chi smiled as Vaylin rubbed her head, twitching her ears at the same time. "Thank you Vay" she cheered, then pointed her index finger inn the direction to where Faith was even though Vaylin had already spotted her.
Chi let Vaylin tow her towards Faith, the smile stayed on her face as they walked. When they reached Faith, Chi let go of his hand and placed both of her hands on Faith's lap. "Found you" she cheered once again.

Vaylin smiled at Chi as she cheered before they started over to Faith. About half way there, Ezio made a sudden appearance, but Vaylin simply walked around the fire cracker before letting Chi go as the girl went to Faith. Vaylin stood there for a moment, a smile on his face before he glanced over at the others. It was a slow party, but not a bad one at the least.
