In other news, I've taken up bellydancing!

I went from only once a week for one hour to now three times a week (if you include a hula hoop class too) at nearly four hours. Starting next month there's a bajillion specialty classes at the studio I go to and I'm probably going to end up taking 7 classes for nearly 8 hours a week. That also includes yoga. THAT s**t IS BANANAS!

...On the other hand, I haven't felt this good about my body, and I haven't had this much fun in my own skin in a loooong time. It's worth the initial pain that I will inevitably feel.

I'm so glad you're taking this up more! It's great to end up doing something that makes you happy and comfortable.

I haven't be doing a lot of outside classes since college, but given that I'm working now, it makes sense. I just hope at some point I can have a career that's more relevant to my field.

Eep! I just signed up for another two classes that'll go for the next 9 weeks! More hula hooping and a yoga class!

...On the other hand, at least it'll make transitioning into all those specialty classes a little easier, since I won't be going straight from three classes to seven, or possibly eight classes a week.

They should just let me live in the sitting area of my dance studio. They serve tea from my tea house there. Give me that and some wifi and I'm pretty much good for life.

PS: Hula hooping is really, really hard! I don't remember it being that hard when I was a kid. wtf happened to make it so difficult?

My first thought was "Super Belly! It's like a belly that's a super-hero!"

SUPER-BELLY! All I need to do is go tie a cape around my waist and-- oh wait, I already do. It's called a coin belt.


Unrelated: I just ordered me some yoga stuff, a mat, bags, blocks, etc. Guess what colours. biggrin
