Hello! Let's get started, shall we?
There will be a comity started for this. It'll be run by Hope, but we'll need at least 5 people to help plan and run the event. If you're interested in helping, apply with the form on the front page. Or I'll post it here, too:

When you PM this, make sure that you type something to that effect in the heading - like, "Halloween Event Application". Or some such. That way the recipient knows that it's not junk or reader mail. lol

Have you ever been a guild captain before?: Well yes, thats why om in this guild.
Have you ever been crew in someone elses guild?: It happens every here and there
How many guilds have you owned?: Two
What can you give to the guild? Dependant on the guild really, i'm not as active as a lot of people out there.
How did you hear about this guild?: I actually got an invite

Awesome guys, we really need to start putting it together. But I actually think that the ....28th..October 28th wouldbe good say.... 10:pm-1:00am central time
that way everyone will have time to show up. I myself and unsure what time I could log on. Im hosting a real life party the next night, and the weekends before I am like crazy busy.

But I actually think that the ....28th..October 28th wouldbe good say.... 10:pm-1:00am central time that way everyone will have time to show up. I myself and unsure what time I could log on. Im hosting a real life party the next night, and the weekends before I am like crazy busy. I think that sounds good to me. My question is, how are we setting this up exactly? What are we even doing?

Well, I think what we will do is come up with a theme. Like, sexy halloween, scary halloween, or funny halloween. People can all make tektek and post them, and we can judge them then give out a prize. I can get the prize.
If we do it the 28th we should do it 10:pm-1:00am central time
that way everyone will have time to show up.. We will have it at the guilds chat space.

Okay, so the date is set and the theme.
Now, I have to find prizes, Im also going to make some banners to advertise the event. I will make subforums (public ones) as well as post the banners here in the guild. We can use it as a recruiting tool as well as a fun thing to do.

I am lost. I just read an announcement with 610pm my time for when it was sent - I just checked the chat space, and of course no one is there (11:49pm here...so 1:49 am Central). I don't think I got an earlier announcement....so I guess I just missed the Halloween Event - and this thread says 10/28....maybe I need to read further?
Edit: Yup, was an anoouncement on 10/19 that I somehow missed. Aw... Have noticed lately that the link doesn't always show up in the header, and have had over 12 feeds show up at times lately, so must've been one of those days. Need to do some unsubscribing, just make up a reference list of url's instead.
Sorry I missed, and hope it was a great success!

I also stated in a previous annoucnement that I do everything in central time. The date set was the 24th and at 9pm central time. There was an announcement sent. Only 4 people were there.
