Reeves cheesy nipples Ok, I now have 7 different ideas for a book. Not one of them seems to be original, or good enough to warrant carrying on with. They are all something that's been done before. So I think I should give up on this before I waste too much time on it. Look, don't give up on it. What you may want to consider is approaching the genre differently. Don't think of ideas you're comfortable with. Try to think about things that are odd...maybe even creepy, if needed...to get an original spark. Obviously, nothing's exactly original anymore, and just because someone's dont something similar doesn't mean you shouldn't write it. Trust me, this comes from a writer who knows how to deal with it. I can't see another way to approach any of my ideas. Which is the problem. I've hit a wall.
