Yeah, that's right, we need co-hosts, too! Especially with our super-ultra-cool ESPIONAGE THEME goin' on! What are you waiting for?! Here's the application! This year I'm looking for 4 special co-hosts willing to suffer under my reign of terror as News Room leader! Although your job in the News Room will be special, as you won't be required to stay in the News Room ALL THE TIME if you don't want. You may be a co-host in another room in addition to this one, if you so choose. Hehe... sweatdrop How are your writing skills? Excellent. I used to write creative fiction a lot. How are you with grammar and punctuation? Also excellent. How are you at multi-tasking? I can pat my head and rub my tummy at the same time...while hopping on one foot! xd Why do you want to be in the news room? Information is important, and it's good to pass it on to those who need it. Plus, I like what how nice it is you that you all work so hard to put on a ball for everyone, and I'd like to help. What skills and talents do you think you could offer us? How are your writing skills? I have fairly good writing skills because working as a writer/editor for Gaia Online Magazine has taught me to never be below par on writing. How are you with grammar and punctuation? It still does "bedazzle" my mind but I have fairly good control of it. How are you at multi-tasking? Want to see me juggle? Just kidding! I can take good care of myself. Why do you want to be in the news room? Have fun and blow them party lights out! Just kidding!....Have fun and be my best. What previous experience have you had with the annual balls? I was a guest in the Celebration Room during part of the 8th Annual Ball, and I was a cohost (Diligence) in the Sloth and Zeal room in the 9th Annual Ball.
How are your writing skills? I guess they're okay sweatdrop ...I received a few compliments on my roleplaying skills during this past ball, so I suppose I do all right.
How are you with grammar and punctuation? I am probably not perfect, but I try my best.
How are you at multi-tasking? I'm fairly comfortable with it. When you work and go to school, multi-tasking is a must! Plus, you should see me knit between Gaia chat room posts! mrgreen
Why do you want to be in the news room? I want to be in the news room because I am completely obsessed with spy stories! In fact, I had originally suggested a spy theme for the ball, so I'm totally THRILLED that espionage is going to be part of the story!
What skills and talents do you think you could offer us? I read a LOT of old spy novels, especially those set during World War II and the Cold War, and I also read about a lot of real-life spy cases (for instance, in college, I did my senior thesis on Julius and Ethel Rosenberg), so I'm hoping I could come up with a lot of fun stuff for this room! I also love acting, and that really comes in handy when I roleplay.

What previous experience have you had with the annual balls? I've been around since the 4th, on several different accounts. The last few i did some art contributions, banners and stuff, but mainly was a participant rather than a planner.
How are your writing skills? I roleplay. ALL the time. I also like to write stories and such. I like creating worlds and building them up. So not too bad.
How are you with grammar and punctuation? The other day i was in the computer store and pointed out to the clerk that there was apostrophe in a sign where there shouldn't be, although i haven't yet had the guts to correct my boss on her use of 'your' over 'you're' on the white board just yet wink So pretty picky at times.
How are you at multi-tasking? I have often had many roleplays going at once, half of them with at least two characters that i'm playing. So i'm pretty good with multitasking.
Why do you want to be in the news room? Because spies are the s**t. (Don't panic, that's not really my answer!) I have never been a host or co-host before and i think it would be a great experience. Also, i like spy stories and espionage and it would be so cool to do something like this! I like spy movies although i haven't had my hands on many of them in the past, but i will do my best with my imagination!
What skills and talents do you think you could offer us? I'm a writer and an artist, and i can make banners and such that include poetry, write prose, make promotional art or even draw as a competition prize in the ball. I'm very literate, although if i sleep color 'colour' it's because i'm one of those weird Australians. Studying high school drama isn't all that much to brag about but hey, i'm seeing this like a resume here so you've gotta talk yourself up, right?
Are you planning on co-hosting in a regular room?: I'm applying for the main room (80's fantasy dream) but i've no idea whether my obsessions with punk and nostalgia will get me far wink

Because I found out I can be a co-host of another room as well as being a co-host for the news room. I have applied at other rooms.
