I was thinking maybe we could do an event this Octobre, likely around the theme of holloween.
Here are some of my ideas;
Picture contest;
Everyone (including me) draws a picture with the theme "holloween." Whoever draws the best picture will have their drawing on the front page of the guild (replacing the banners as i plan to move them) along with 10,000 gold and the runner up will earn 5,000 gold. Also top 3 places become crew members.
Judges might be needed as me both judging AND competing would be...unwanted.
tektek contest
Similar idea to gaia arenas, competiters will create an avatar in tektek stating;
a) your username
b) a title for it
c) who/what it's sopposed to be
d) how many items used
I probably wont compete in this but anyways winner gets 10,000 g, runner up gets 5000 g, top three are crew members.
and last but definetely not least
the gift of giving!
Its very simple, everyone gives someone else (in this guild or any other) a gift and labels it 'Anonymous' with whatever message and wrappings they want.
Then they post in a forum i'll make how many gifts they've given. Or they'll pm me, and ill write it down in a private page on my gaia journal.
A few rules. The gift must have the word "Candy" in it, and the price has to be at least 500 gold. Also you must write the price of the gift, AND the message you wrote. The winner will be decided by me on a points system based on gold spent/gifts given/ days spent giving gifts/etc.
Its mostly moral, but still i'm trying to keep it fair.
The winner wil be a VICE CAPTION of the guild, and top 5 become crew members smile 1st place wins 10,000 gold, 2nd place 8,000 gold, 3rd 6,000, 4th, 4,000, and 5th 2,000.
So please leave a post on any suggestions or ideas. If you want to be a judge on any of these PM me and if you could help me earn some gold i might actually be able to host, not one, but ALL of these events in October. I can't wait! Pleas if you don't have any suggestions at least leave a comment on what you think of the events, and if you want to donate for the events, don't give it to the guild, because once its with the guild i can't take it out to give to the winners.
If i get enough donaters i miiiiiight increase the prizes wink
so pleeeeeease respond!!!!!

I'm not on gaia for more than half an hour a weekday, so thats a bit tough to earn sweatdrop but don't worry i already have a little over 10,000 i just got a bit of work to do before October. If I have to I'll sell 80% of the junk in my inventory (i was planning to once found time). Still i like junk, it makes me feel rich, so might just end up saving whil the contests are going. Either way i really want to do all of them(especially the first one, since i've been practicing my drawing skills smile )

I'm honestly really excited, i've never hosted a guild event, the guilds i'm in rarely have them anyways. I'm still not sure if i'm entering the tektek one, but i'm hoping other participants will make up for that. If there Are other participants. I should make, like, 10 really annoying announcements soeveryone knows... in fact i might, but later sinc i have to get off now.
