Hi! I'm Sachie. I live in California so my time zone is Pacific [or GMT-8], which means that I'm still up and awake when a lot of people go to bed. As I do work on call fill-in shifts with my paying job and volunteer with a cat sanctuary, I will update this post to let you know when I know I know I'm not going to be available. [Sleep hours excluded.]
Week of September 11 - 17 * Tuesday -- volunteering, unavailable AM * Wednesday -- my birthday, sporadic

I'll turn him into a flea, a harmless, little flea, and then I'll put that flea in a box, and then I'll put that box inside of another box, and then I'll mail that box to myself, and when it arrives..Most people call me Hikari or Hik. I'm 25 years old, been on Gaia for 6 years. I've graduated college with an Associates Degree in Graphic Design, and have an unfinished degree in Computer Networking. I'm also divorced with a 5 year old son. I'm obsessed with reading and writing. I have more books then I have bookshelves and am always getting more. I love to write all poetry, papers, and fiction stories. I'm a Star Wars AND Star trek fan. I know, the apocalypse shall reign any moment for me saying that. I love vampires, all kinds. Dark, seductive, evil, good, tortured, soul searching. I do not like sparkly ones though. I'm a HP, LOTR, TB freak: books and movies. I paint ceramics. Collect Teddy Bears and Christmas Villages. I do like anime, although not as much as I did in high school. I never buy individual discs. I either have enough to buy the set or I don't buy it. My favorite colors are Turquoise and Purple. I hate bananas. I have a secret crush on Spock (the original). I love musicals, opera, Broadway, plays in general. I have a fursona of a beautiful, purple dragon.
I live in MST -7:00; I'm on most night and days.
Dao_Gi@hotmail.com is my MSN if you want to add me to Messenger
I'll answer messages s quickly as possible, and besides my RP guild, I'm always in this guild looking around.
...I'll smash it with a hammer! It's brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, I tell you! Genius, I say!

I thought I would shake up this room a bit. XD Your wish has been granted, and you are approved for a spy theme! Maybe you could go all black and white, and make it like a film noire detective story. whee
I'll offer any assistance to this room that you may need. Don't hesitate to PM me if you need me to send an announcement, answer a question, etc. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you're going to do with this room, Crystal. You're the best! heart

*squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee* Spiiiies! heart
@Hikari: Glad to know I'm not the only one who likes Star Trek AND Star Wars! xd With Star Wars, though, I prefer the Original Trilogy. There's just something wonderful about it that's not in the newer movies. But...yeah. Are there really so few Trekkies who also like Star Wars? I never knew... It's like crocheting and knitting---who says you have to choose just one? Apparently there's a rivalry between people who knit and people who crochet...which means that since I do both, I must be some kind of freak. stare Anyway...
Oh, and by the way, I love all your Yzma quotes and the pictures of her as the "evil kitty!" rofl
Also, hello everyone. I'm Alvinette, or Alvie, or Alv...whichever one you prefer. I'm a 26-year-old grad student who is PAINFULLY CLOSE to getting a Master's degree in History. I want to be a librarian when I grow up. mrgreen I am an obsessed Alvin and the Chipmunks fan (as if my username wasn't a dead giveaway on this blaugh ), and I have a lot of Chipmunks stuff! I also like Hello Kitty stuff, miniature top hats, and dainty lace fingerless gloves. I love to watch soap operas, NYPD Blue, The Prisoner (the original series from the '60s, not the 2009 remake), Star Trek (the original series and the Next Generation are the ones I like best, though I've by no means seen all or even most episodes of either), various mystery/cop shows, Monty Python's Flying Circus, and Mystery Science Theater 3000. I also LOVE Casablanca, North by Northwest, and the original Rear Window. I read lots of fiction, consisting mostly of adventures (I'm a huge Clive Cussler fan), light romance novels (Georgette Heyer!), mysteries, and of course, old, out-of-print spy novels (Helen MacInnes is my favorite writer for these). I knit almost constantly, I crochet quite a bit, and I'm learning how to sew. My favorite colors are red and black. I dabble in watching anime and reading manga, but I can count on one hand the number of series that I've actually finished....and let's see...I stay up late, I love to laugh, and I am a chronic babbler. sweatdrop That pretty much covers it!
I'm in the U.S., Central Time Zone. I'm working on my degree, and I have a part-time job. I'm usually online every night, and I stay up late unless I have to get up early the next day. And I'm excited about next year's ball! whee

@Alv - Have you ever seen the movie, Fanboys? It's about the rivalry between Star Wars nerds and Trekkies. It's so incredibly hilarious! xd It takes place right before Episode 1 comes out, and random comments they make about it are hilarious! That's one that you've got to watch!

I haven't seen it, but you told me about it, and it sounds funny! Especially the end--Doesn't it end with the Star Wars fanboys in the theater a few minutes before the premier of Episode I, and one of them asks, "Wait--what if it sucks?" That's perfect! rofl

Hey guys, sorry i'm late! Internet problems D:
I'm Ally, i am attending high school and work part-time for a racehorse trainer and owner. Ever had a baby horse nibble your finger? I have <3 I live in Australia and i am a bit of a punk/nerd. Not to be confused with scene 14 year olds who wear those 3D glasses you get at the cinema with the lenses taken out wink I also partake in egregious bouts of karate on Mondays and Wednesdays. I like to draw and i have an unhealthy obsession with MS Paint Adventures. I play bass and i will one day own a blue Rickenbacker 4003. A pretty mundane goal in life but who cares.

I'm Anthony. I live in Illinois, so my time zone is GMT(-6 hours). This is the first time I've signed up for something like this, so it's very exciting to me. I like writing, and used to write stories and stuff. Nice to meet you all. 3nodding

Heh heh, I have to tell y'all about the dream I had this morning...because it was a spy dream! mrgreen
It started out with me sitting at a computer much like the one we use to clock in and out at my real-life job. I was doing the log-on procedure, but instead of being at my real job and clocking in, I was logging on to the computer as a member of a team of covert operatives! We had to enter our name, Social Security number (I don't know why that was; I guess it's a carry-over from the logging-on procedure at my real-life job at a store in the mall), and our role in the mission/team. My role? "Resident conspiracy theorist!" rofl So as I interacted with the team, I was this ditzy "Cloudcuckoolander" type who was always expecting to be kidnapped by the enemy at every turn because I "knew too much" about these alleged conspiracies that none of the other agents seemed to be the least bit concerned about. They kind of razzed me about my paranoia. blaugh At one point pretty early on in the dream, I was in a hallway, unlocking the door to the apartment where my team and I were living, and there was a guy in the hallway pretty close behind me. We never had any contact with each other, but after I entered the apartment and closed the door behind me, my fellow agents started telling me that the guy was looking at me in a menacing fashion, and they were asking me if he put a mark on me (like if he had covertly injected me with some kind of drug). I started freaking out at this point because I was fully convinced now that I HAD been drugged (even though I didn't feel a thing) and that at any second I was going to pass out and wake up tied to a chair. It never happened, and another team member (who happened to be my high-school friend Anna) and I went out shopping at a store that looked a lot like Big Lots. We were, I think, picking up supplies and maybe meeting with a contact who worked one of the cash registers. While we were in line, I became convinced for some reason (probably because I was, after all, the "resident 'conspiracy theorist'") that one of the cashiers was an enemy spy who was going to capture us. And there was actually a little scuffle between Anna and this particular cashier whom I suspected. And I kept hoping that one of these people I suspected (the guy in the hallway, and then this cashier in the store) actually WOULD be an enemy spy so I could be proven RIGHT for once! blaugh
The scene switches to my team getting me ready for our part in our next assignment, which involved me pretending to be a corpse and hiding in a coffin to eavesdrop on some people (maybe enemies who wanted me dead? I don't remember...the dream was fun but really convoluted). Apparently that went off without a hitch, because then our next assignment was riding on a train through Russia and doing some more spying...only, as it turns out, the train was full of mothers and children who actually were part of a conspiracy to trap us on the train and kill us...as I found out when one of the kids said my (or my character's, anyway) real name instead of the cover name I had been using on the trip. All heck broke loose at that point...and that's where my dream ends.
So...anybody here who analyzes dreams? I would love to hear what y'all think of this one! rofl
