Lilah had wandered far, but she was sure she had never been to this jungle before. She had glimpsed it in a brief vision the night before, but she had never stepped a paw in the jungle in life. It was interesting. She moved as quietly as possible, slipping between the trees. It was so ...
loud. Compared to this, the savannah was dead silent at night. It made her a bit nervous, even though she hadn't seen any ferocious looking predators.
She heard someone sigh nearby and froze. It was a weary sound, not an aggressive one, but still ... when no other sounds came, Lilah cautiously stepped towards the source of the noise. She didn't much want to meet anyone in this jungle, even after seeing it in a vision. Still, she was curious. Why had the stars shown her this place? She didn't often uncover the meaning behind her visions, but she couldn't pass up the opportunity to investigate the jungle a bit, not when it had been directly in her path.
A lion! For a second Lilah thought it was the one she had glimpsed oh-so-briefly in her vision. Softly colored and patterned with white ... but no. This lion was male, and pink dominated his pelt. The other lion had been even paler. Still, they were similar enough in looks. Lilah looked at him warily, wondering if he had seen her, if he was going to attack her. He didn't look vicious, but there was no telling. She cleared her throat softly, just in case he hadn't seen her. There was still room to run if he decided to charge after her, and if he was interested in talking, she was curious about this place.
