I am curious about peoples experiences that they have had with spirits especially with ones that they didn't know when they were alive and I' even more curous about one with that aren't exactly of this world (Nymphs, fairys, ect.)

Would you care to define "experiences" a little more? My interaction with spirits has been limited to a ritual setting with scrying being the medium.

By experiences I mean talking with them seen them or interacted with them in anyway. Not sure if that narrows it down very for you but I hope it helps all the same.

At one point in my life I did have a few experiences with spirits but since then I have written them off as self delusions.

That is why I did this after I saw the guild owner posted the thread 'A challange to you' because I have asked this kind of thing before in a different guild and a few people gave me responses similar to yours. I do a lot of astral projection myself and have had various encounters with spirits and I want to know about other people's encounters, the more out-there the better.

For me the spirit usually just appears (sometimes vaguely) in my scrying mirror after a ritual evocation and then I speak to it out loud and it replies telepathically. Voice and appearance depend on the particular spirit. The ones that I've evoked thus far are nice or at least neutral. There's really not a lot of weirdness that can happen from communicating with a spirit through a scrying medium (you know, relatively speaking). A lot of times it's like speaking with another human being (aside from the telepathic replies) but you can still sort of tell that they're not human. It's a little hard to describe, actually.

I couldn't say for a fact it's spirit's but my whole life I have had instances of hearing some one calling my name from a distance. Not in my head. I actually hear it. My parents actually wanted to have my hearing checked at one point b/c of how frequently I went to one of them asking what they had wanted me for just to be told that they hadn't said anything. It's gotten less frequent as an adult, but I still get it sometimes.
I also sometimes answer people before they have asked a question. But I swear I heard it just as if they had spoke. This usually happens with people I am close to.

When I did the Tarot I let the illustrations on the cards talk to me, I never went by the meanings in any book. When I did a divination I sorta had a discussion with the cards, we'd listen to the question and then sorta talk to each other and decide what the best answer was. I could use my set but no others. Other sets didn't talk to me. Does that make any sense? I have decided to be an atheist but two things in my past keep me from getting to hard core about it, two things that make me hold back just a little hope that there is something supernatural out there. 1. I once openly declared that there was no such thing as elves and fairies, my life turned into a living hell for a solid week until I apologized. 2. I could make predictions with my cards months in advance that would come true. Guide my friends to rewarding outcomes. Of course both could be tricks of my own mind. Mind you I said 'could be' I AM NOT SAYING THEY DON'T EXIST!!! Looking around worried.

I think some people have acertain "connection". I used to be able to get bear over to my place by telling my middle daughtor to "summon" him. W/o fail he'd be pulling into my driveway within an hour.

Just over a year later I was married. You know how that is working out. Some critical info that everyone here won't have: At the time me and my now husband could not stand the sight of one another. Honestly don't you think it's a little more likely that you peeked into the future than to think you somehow manipulated my worst enemy into becoming the man of my dreams with out even being aware you were doing it?
