This actually looks really good.
It makes good use of acid golem.

Never thought I'd see the day someone would use a Koaki Meiru deck.

Superonimalco Never thought I'd see the day someone would use a Koaki Meiru deck. Koa ki'meirus in general, no. Rock koa ki'meirus in a rockstun deck (where the purpose is to clear the opponent's field with rocks), yes. Rockstun decks that I've seen normally accommodate the 3 rock koa ki'meirus, morphing jar, neo spacian ground mole, and legendary jujitsu master. This one makes use of skill drain and acid golem in a combo with the koa ki'meiru rocks to completely destroy the opponent's field presence.

Labyrinthknight63 This actually looks really good. It makes good use of acid golem. got any tips to slim it down by 4 cards? the current build is at 44 cards.

The only things really I could suggest are moving dark hole and both bottomless to the side deck, slimming it by 3/4.
I say this because your solemn cards and D. prisons seem enough to eliminate most tougher monsters your opponent would bring out, while dark hole would work best when your field presence is minimal and your opponent has just swarmed their field.
41 I think works better than 44, but isn't so terrible compared to 40. I'd be more concerned if the deck were around 48-50.

Just I would of figure they would use solely Koakis. I for one have one in the works.

Well, axean, this deck actually looks good. Makes better use of Koa'ki Meiru's than what I've seen so far.

took out the gem elephants since they had low attack and weren't really helping. i replaced them with prototypes, which would add extra strength to the deck and still had reletively high defense.
it makes acid golem a bit harder to bring out, but it's not a problem with 3 soldiarity backing me up anyway.

took out the giant soldiers now too, and added a mole for when skill drain isn't active. Added Book of Moon and Pot of Avarice back, moved a d prison and a starlight road to the side. The deck is now 40 cards.
took out the stardusts as they kept interfereing with soldiarity.

put a d prison back in and took avarice into the side. avarice was usually a dead draw.

The_Wicked_Zaku You can tribute the meru's n stardust for there ability even while skilldrain is on the field right?.. if so could you give me an explanation why? everytime im confronted with the question i usually says its a cost so its unaffected skill drain says that while a monster is on the field it's effect is negated. It also says nothing about not being able to activate effects. Tributing a Koa'ki Meiru is a Cost to activate their effects. Since they were tributed, they are no longer on the field, so the effect resolves in the graveyard, unnaffected by skill drain. I bolded the important phrases.
