What are you naturally good at? And what would your hypothetical cutie mark look like as a result?

I'm good at some things, like programing and cooking, but I had to work at those, they didn't come naturally.

The only thing I can think of that I am naturally good at is shooting. I still remember the first time i held a rifle. I was 12, and the gun was a .22 target rifle, I just picked it up and started shooting. Never fired a gun in my life, never even held one before this, but by the end of the day I was firing 1in groups at 50 yards, within a week I was firing 1/2in groups at 50 yards, and 2in groups at 100 yards (using iron sights). Same thing with a shotgun, though that took me a bit longer to get a hang of, but after a week I could knock out 60+ out of 100 clays in one go, not bad for a 12 year old. However I SUCK at bow and arrow, I'm left eye dominant so I have to use my left hand to shoot, and my left hand just isn't coordinated enough to fire a bow accurately. So...I guess my cutie mark would probably be a bullet.

Edit: and ironically enough I now have HORRIBLE eye sight....but at the time I had perfect vision. I still shoot on occasion, and I genuinely enjoy it, one of the upsides to wearing glasses is that you don't have to wear those stupid shooting goggles, or those yellow tinted sunglasses.

I fire 9mm pistols, but this seems to only be about a once a year thing that I do. I have no upper arm strength, so the recoil is killer and thus I am not a great shot. <___> But I do enjoy it, while we're on the subject. rofl


What do I do naturally...? That's really difficult to say... one might say I have always been able to 'draw well' but I have no passion for it. One might also say that I 'write well' but, again, I have no passion for it. I can make a crowd laugh (if it's an easy audience), but I'm secretly not a people person. sweatdrop

You know, actually... it might be "Good Luck." My name is "Holly" and in some cultures (English, even?), it means good luck or protection. And I do have to say that I have quite a lot of it. I've never had a severe injury throughout my entire life, and I managed to land a full-time job right out of college by only needing to attend one internship (and was lucky enough to meet awesome people who helped to keep me around after the semester ended). The first and only huge trip I ever took outside of the country was straight to Japan (having never ridden on an airplane before, I got to ride six different ones for the entire trip...!). Peculiar things like that, and usually things work out very well for me. Optimistic or not, it's still a nice thought to lean back on.

So perhaps my symbol would be a holly leaf with two berries and a four-leave clover?

The wave'd be pretty cool. They don't show that many things related to water in the show, which they might oughta. Only time I remember anything underwater is when the CMC were scuba diving.
