What happened? The sky . . . it. The boy looks up into the sky, attempting to raise his right arm to try and wave away some of the dust in the air. After a few moments, his vision somewhat clears. Everything around him lay in ruins. The park itself still has several small fires burning throughout it. He looks around and for a few moments, he tries to just tell himself its just a dream. But between the burning in his eyes and lungs and the pain in his arm, he knows it is all too real.
The once great city of Altalis now lay in nothing more than piles of rocks and iron bars. The city had taken the full blow from the boulders that fell from the sky, but unknowing to the people of this city, the rocks continued to fall in other places of the world, or just started. Slowly spreading outwards from their centralized point. The centralized point being Altalis itself.
The boy finally climbs out of the pile of wreckage he is in and looks around. Everyone is running around frantically, either trying to help wounded or looked for loved ones. What happened to his family? Where are they? Did they die as well? These thoughts cut their way into the boy's skull as he remembers the fact that he has yet to see any of his family members. As a tear streaks down the boy's face, he looks up into the clouds and cries. Even the sun itself had forsaken them, hidden behind a sheeting of dust.
[This boy is an NPC. This post is just to set the mood. For the most part of this RP, I will only be controlling the NPCs. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the RP]

Ash finally got out of the school building and refused to look back at the destruction she had just come from, although, just looking straight ahead she could imagine what it would look like.the huge rock which had fallen from the sky had left a hole in the courtyard and caused most of the school building to collapse. Ash had been lucky to get away with what seemed to be very painful cuts and bruises all over her body, and a damaged school uniform. Not that that worried her much. Leaving the school grounds, Ash was far to shocked and scared to cry over the fact that her father and cousin were dead, at the moment she saw her father's body, it hardly even regestered that he was no longer alive. She made her way into the ruined streets which seemed far to active with the few survivors whom filled it.

Nathan woke up face down on the roof. He goraned in pain as he rolled on to his back from his collision with the poll. The building he was on was still standing by some merical, and that he was quite thankful for. Pulling him self up to a sitting position he survayed around. Everything was in ruins, the metor shower tore the city appart like a rabbid animal. Looking behind him Nathan seen Rin laying on her side. "Rin!" He shouted scrambeling to his feet ignroing any semblnce of pain. He ran over but when he was a few steps away he noticed he neck was broken, or snapped, either way he knew she was dead. Falling to one knee he rested his hand on her lifeless shoulder and used every ounce of strength in him not to break down. "Figures this is how you go out... Not by a gun fight. By a damn metor shower." He said to her corpse as tears slowly forced their way out. For today he had lost yet another important person.

Valerick stepped out from behind one of the large piles of rubble near Ash. He looked around a bit and then finally noticed her slowly making her way through the nearly deserted streets. "Well well. At least someone survived this massacre. Hello there my dear." The man frowns at everything around him and then looks back at the girl. "I know this seems just slightly sudden, but would you wish to change all this?" If the girl was paying any sort of attention, the area around her and him would seem to not move at all. Frozen in time.

Ash kept on moving for a moment, as if she hadn't heard the man speak to her, but slowly she stopped walking and turned to face him, her hair covering most of her face. "There are many things in this world, I wish to change. But before I answer your question, I must ask you one myself." turning her head to her left, Ash examined the area around her again, Unlike before, it wasn't busy, or rather, it seemed as if everybody had just given up and stopped what they were doing. The erie stillness was even more frightening and confusing than the excessive activity from before. Finally Ash turned back to look at the man again, brushing her hair out of her face to reveal her scar and blind eye, she asked, "Would this change be for better or for worse. Sounds silly, doesn't it? But what are you going to change?"

Valerick laughed. It actually made him smile that someone was willing to ask him that question. "You see this. All of this destruction, chaos, pain, agony, and suffering. All of it. Even now, it continues to spread across your world, slowly consuming all of it in a constant rain of fire. However, with some outside assistance, I can prevent all this. Change it back to what it was. Fix the things that have happened and revert them back to normal. Wouldn't you want that, or do you prefer that your world just end here." The man's face got more and more serious as he continued on, until finally, he seemed to be just a pure determined person. One who would do almost anything to get his way. His only goal was to prevent what had already begun. Though the people on this planet had no idea what was going on around them, the true fact is that the entire galaxy as a whole was beginning to suffer the same fate. Who's fault was it, Valerick wasn't entirely sure. All he knew is that he himself could not and cannot solve it. It would be impossible. He needed these people's help. Their help to try and fix everything that was going on around them and throughout the entire dimensional universe.

Gathering his composure he began to take what weapons and ammunation she had. He did not want her body to be found and disgrace brought upon her for taking things in to her own hands. He took great care when taking off the ammunation pouches. For some reason he did not want to disturb her body. All the dust and in the air was making it hard to breath, as if holding back his emotions was'nt making it any easier. He finally took her pistol from the theigh holster and rested it in both his hands looking at the frame. It was a .40 caliber pistold with scratches covering it but, in an artstic sort of way. While none of it was intentional it seamed that way. It almost looked like it told a story. One that was unfinished. Gasping the pistol in his right hand he walked to the edge of the building and looke down.
Everythign was in shambles and chaos. People stumbled around still dissoriented looking for loved ones, pets, or just help. It was like the very world was falling apart

Ash slowly looked around again at the destruction that had become the city and, if his words were anything to go by, the whole world was like this. The girl turned back to look at him. "Your question seems foolish. Why would you need to ask if we want our world returned to a 'normal' state? I personally think it would be interesting to see the world end here, but that is a selfish thought, is it not? and without a world to reside on, our race would be naught." The girl rubbed her arm, which was apparently more painful than first thought. "I'm curious, why ask, why not just do, if you had the ability? And how do you plan to fix a world which is so close to complete destruction? Perhaps it is bigger than just our world?" She was just shooting the first questions that came to mind at him, but Ash didnt' trust the man and as such wanted to see how well thought our his question of 'would you wish to change all this?' After all, who would trust somebody dressed as he was, in a world which was falling apart?

Valerick somewhat lost a little bit of his carefree attitude. He liked how this girl was, her curiosity, but time was wasting away. He needed to gather the crystals back together on his own world before this happened to the entire universe. "Well, you see my dear, I do not have the power to force someone to do something against their will. That is why I ask you whether or not you wish to help. And as for fixing this, well, it is as you I am guessing suspect, not affecting only your world. It is affecting several worlds. If you wish to know what I do, then I shall tell you." Valerick took a deep breath and then began to speak. "I will be sending you to a secondary plane, one directly aligned with our own but more like a saved record. This plane will be somewhat behind our own time and will allow you to prevent all this. What I need you to do in this plane is secure eight small objects. Once these objects are brought together back on my own world, it will bring the lost balance back to all of the dimensions." Valerick finished and took another breath, barely breathing in between his own words. "Now. Time is of the essence my dear. I must ask for an answer, even if it does seem a bit rushed. Do you, or do you not agree to help in the task to restore your world?"

Valerick stopped time around Nathan, or at least made it appear that way. He began to walk out from behind a city bus that a meteoroid had crashed on. He looked over at Nathan and kept approaching him. "Well. Hello there. Good. Another survivor that I can use. Tell me child. If given the chance, would you change all of this. Make this all back to the way it was. Prevent all of the carnage that has happened here . . . And save your friend." He had no idea who she was to him, but by reading the boy's emotions, she was definitely someone important. "I can fix all of this for you, all I ask is for your help." Valerick looked at Nathan as he began to slowly walk around him, waiting for an answer from him.

Turning around, pointing Rin's pistol at this strange being, and taking the safety off Nathan listened to this proposal being offered to him, and it was tempting none the less. But, that was the grief inside of him that was tempted. Logically Nathan steeled his expression and replied "You know offering people things that are too good to be true don't come with out a catch. And usually a nasty one" He had been dealt with people that had made these bargains on a daily basis although, for once this one actually appealing to him. But, as his facade of an expression went on to this peculiar individual inside he was conflicted Rin... What should I do?

"A catch. The only catch would be the possibility of losing your own life, but as long as you are smart, that should not be a problem." After the first girl, Valerick didn't want to take any chances. He needed to gather as many people as possible to assist him. The more the better because he had no idea if there was anyone else trying to obtain the items he was after. But if the people who agreed to help him gathered these items, he would be able to cancel out this catastrophe. Return everything back to how it was meant to be. "Though I must say this, time is incredibly short, so I cannot take as long as I did my last guest to get you to join me. I need you to make your decision preferably as soon as possible." Valerick pulled his book out and rose it up beside him. He placed his hand on it and prepared to either begin the process on the boy, or freeze him in the safety of the time freeze for the time being. He was beginning to get too old for this kind of thing.

Nathan kept the gun trained unwavering for a few moments before he lowered it down and returned the safety on the gun. With a harsh voice he answered "Tch... As if I haven't already gambled in that realm enough already... Fine, I'll do it" The pistol found its way to a holster under Nathan's jacket. Hmm... I wonder.... whats the book for, he thought still keeping a cautious eyes on this stranger. Under his breath he muttered to him self, "By the grace of the angels guide my step, keep my from harm, guide my hand to deliver judgement." It was something Rin and him would say before every endeavor they under took knowing that each day could be, in fact, their last.

Valerick grinned though his smile was nearly impossible to see under the shadow of the cloak. The book began to glow a bit and small little shimmers began to move about the boy. "Thank you my good man. Hopefully, your attempt to help me will not be in vain. Do succeed out there. When you arrive at your first destination, there will be somewhere there to assist you in locating what you are after. Also, if you see anyone that looks familiar to you, I want you to remember this. These people may look the same, but under no circumstances are they the same. Good luck." The shimmer around the boy flashes and after a few moments, the boy is gone from his current location.

Sakura stumbled through the park, her head spinning from everything that had happened over the few past moments. "Why. Why did this all have to happen." Sakura fell to her knees as she finally began to let all of it into her mind. As she began to make sense of it, she almost passed out, laying on the ground barely hanging onto her sanity. She looked over at her left arm and almost began to cry. Blood soaked her arm from the wound that her boyfriend sustained from the rod. She still wanted to act as though it never happened, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't get it out of her mind.
