This winding wizarding street is famous for containing some of the best shops known to the magical world. A humble little street, it is known to have several shops in which Hogwarts students can buy their school supplies. Stop by Gringott's to get your gold and maybe head on down to Madam Malkin's for some new robes. Flourish and Blotts is a must to get your school textbooks. Don't forget to visit the Apothecary for some potions supplies. After you've done all your supply buying, if you fancy a little get-together with your friends head down to the Leaky Cauldron or the Ice Cream Parlor.

Jessa was bored.
Seriously, utterly, and completely bored, even.
Since moving to England last month, She had been either hit on or mocked. She had nothing in common with the people here. Jessa could only hope that she would have more in common with people at Hogwarts.
Right.
She kicked at the ground with black army boots under a black skirt and a Self-Rescuing Princess t-shirt, which was under a black jeans jacket. There was a leather messenger bag slung over her shoulder and her hair was back in a long french braid, revealing slightly pointed ears that held up wire-rimmed glasses. She wandered into Flourish and Blotts, looking over the interesting curse books.

Be safe!" said Christan's mother as she grabbed hold of his older sister's arm and rushed off towards their bakery in Diagon Alley. Their bakery wasn't really famous on Diagon Alley, it wasn't even on the map, but they still had customers.
As Christian waved goodbye, he took out his list of supplies for his upcoming sixth year. He had been to sad to see that he had not made it into N.E.W.T. level Astronomy, nor History of Magic, but he did make it into several other classes.
He looked around and saw the Apothecary. He put away his booklist and walked towards it. He needed to replenish his Potions supplies.

She walked to the back and opened the entrance way to Diagon Alley. Sure, she knew it would be odd to see a professor shopping in Diagon Alley before school, but even they had to shop for supplies.
Clarissa took out her list. First thing on her list was new potion supplies. She walked down to the Apothecary. She entered the shop with the bells on the door introducing her presence.

Ⓒhristian Ⓢantos • Ⓢixth Ⓨear • ⒽufflepuffWhen Christian opened the door to the Apothecary, he looked around and found the strange, familiar assortments of Potions supplies. There was a barrel of Beetle Eyes in a corner of the store, jars filled with differently colored powders, expensive unicorn horns by the counter, and so many other different items that filled the store with strange smells.
He looked around once more and found himself face-to-face with the Deputy Head of Hogwarts, Professor Reynolds. Christian's eyes raised in surprise and said in a small voice," Er, hello Professor! What, er, brings you to Diagon Alley?"

She was trying to organize her thoughts with what she needed. Her thoughts, however, were interrupted by someone talking to her. she didn't recognize the voice at first. She turned to look.
"Oh, Hello Christian." She said. "I've got to restock the potions supplies." She said returning his question. "I'm guessing that you're doing the same?" She asked him in return.

I don't know how I managed to get that O.W.L. revision potions done with a small supply," said Christian. He turned over to the person at the counter and asked for a basic potions supply for a sixth year.
As they gathered his ingredients, he turned back towards Professor Reynolds and said," So, what do you have planned for sixth years? What was the required O.W.L. grade to continue in N.E.W.T. level Potions. I just want to triple-check that I made it."

"As for what I have planned, you got your book list I presume? You should get a general idea as to what we're doing. And the O.W.L scores to get in this year were Exceeds Expectations. With the course this year, we had to raise the bar a little higher." She said as she put her ingredients into her bag.

Ⓒhristian Ⓢantos • Ⓢixth Ⓨear • ⒽufflepuffChristian smiled at the possibility of the being a Ravenclaw. The Sorting Hat did consider him in it, but in the end it changed its mind. He smiled even wider, remembering why the Sorting Hat chose Hufflepuff over Ravenclaw for him.
The counter-person tapped him on the shoulder and Christian hid his smile. He was given a couple bags of potions supplies. He looked up at the board and found the price for a sixth year supply of ingredients. He rummaged through his bag until he found his bag of coins that he was given before coming to Diagon Alley. He took out the correct amount of Galleons, Sickles, and Knuts and placed them onto the cashier's hands.
He said towards the cashier," Thank you!" He then turned back to Professor Reynolds. " Okay then! I got in with the right grade! Well anyways, thanks for the information Professor. I'm going to go ahead and buy my other supplies for the year." He placed his Potions supply bags into his school bag and headed out the door.

Nessie stood in the center of Diagon Alley, looking around with an expression of pure boredem. She was in her muggle clothing - a simple jeans and t-shirt ensemble (which earned her a few looks), her new, light green hair tied up in a curly pony tail (she wondered if anyone would recognise her with her new colourings - well, maybe they would, as most were used to her rapid changes). She tugged one of the loose strangds absently, watching as a young boy - must have been eleven - was practically skipping with joy, his mother and father ushering him into Madam Malkin's shop. She gave a faint smile, turning to see her father just emerging from Gringott's, a small pouch in his hand. He approached her, a smile on his lips. "Got it." He gestured to the pouch. "Ready?"
"Of course." Nessie turned, headed straight for Flourish and Blotts, pulling her book list out of her pocked as she did so. She was shopping for Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Muggle Studies, Care of Magical Creatures and Ancient Runes. She could hear her father's footsteps behind her, and shoved the door of the shop open, glancing around. It seemed relatively empty. Must have been a slow day. She reached the counter quickly, passing her list to the cashier. He nodded, scurrying off to find her items, leaving her to lean against the counter, bored. Her father stood next to her, looking around with a sort of reminiscient gaze, as he left her at the counter to go and examine a stack of books.

Jessa, bored with the books left, making her way to the apothecary.
She went inside, glancing around.
"Well, Its either here or Madam Malkins, and you don't even know what house you're in." She sighed and passed Clarissa to poke around the petrified bats. "I really hate switching schools. Makes me wish I wasn't magical."
She said this more to herself than to anyone in particular, but it was louder than she thought in the mostly-empty shop.

Matthias Birch Woodfen Charms Professor in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Diagon Alley [1/?]
Matthias Woodfen, a tall man with frail-looking features, took off his wizard hat and revealed a tired but satisfied face upon arrival in Diagon Alley. He looked around and saw the bustling life of the most known magical commercial district of the wizarding community and decided that his would-be shopping spree would be a little bit of a challenge. He trotted off and then decided to have a short sneak peek at Flourish and Blotts bookshop.
When he entered the bookshop, he was attended by an attendant by the name of Geraldine, a petite and timid-looking girl. "Good day, sir. What would you like to have?" She greeted in a small voice. Matthias smiled and she blushed furiously. "I'm sorry about this but I think I'm just going to browse around the shop." Matthias said and the young witch retreated without another word. The professor chuckled and continued on at the bookshelves.
In the end, he enjoyed a considerable amount of time in his "shopping spree" browsing books like The Wonders of Charmwork, Charms and You, The Charmed Ways of a Charming Heart, and much more. One time though, Matthias wandered as much as the romance section.

He took out his book list and decided that now was a better time than never to decide which subjects he would continue on to. He knew Astronomy and History of Magic were not an option. Along with with core subject, Christian had taken Divination, Ancient Runes, and Care of Magical Creatures. After a couple minutes, he decided not to drop any classes. The core subjects he was in were important, and he enjoyed his elective classes as well. Besides, he was already going to have two classes knocked off, so he should be able to handle the schedule.
If worse comes to worse, I can always drop a subject or two, thought Christian.

Insula arrived quite annoyed to the Alley after a long argue with her parents. With her old owl dead she needed a replacement. Her mother wanted to make it up to her and said she could pick any pet since they have a few owls left.
She stood in front of a shop, shook her head to clear her mind for a second and checked her shopping list. She sighted and sat on a bench just to have a break from the walk from the London surburb. She took her ocarina out of the pocket and played a random tune that popped into her mind.
