 Fubar would never, ever admit it out loud, but he'd been thinking a lot about a certain female he'd come across recently. Gray was his favorite color, and it looked very nice on her. Also, she hadn't said a single mean thing to him that he could remember, as much as he tried to. And she'd said she looked forward to seeing him again, which nobody had ever told him before in his life.
So the only sensible thing to do, of course, was to find her and see just how far he could push her buttons. Everybody always left eventually, and he figured it was better to get this all out of his system sooner rather than later.
He padded out into the open, sniffing around for her. She'd been here once before...maybe she'd be here again.

 Sophia was laying in the sunniest spot she could find, on her back looking up at the sky. Blue always was her favorite color. She smiled slightly at the thought of her run-in with the sweet Fubar.
He was definatly intresting, and funny. But he didn't seem to want her around, she wondered why he kept trying to get her to be mean? Sophia shook the thought away. He probably would never come to find her again.
Sophia sighed and closed her eyes. Thinking of doing nothing the rest of the day.

"You'll get a sunburn on your belly, you know," Fubar said, by way of greeting, as he made his way out into the open. He paused just a moment to look at her, marveling at the sort of carefree way she sprawled out in the sun. "It'll hurt a lot, and then you'll start peeling everywhere, and it'll be really gross."
He crossed over into the sun himself, taking a moment to stretch and shake himself off before flopping down onto the grass next to her, probably closer than was polite. Fubar didn't have a lot of respect for personal space.
"I wasn't sure I'd see you here again. Thought maybe you'd be wandering around somewhere, adventuring."

She looked over at him and shrugged, "Can you get sunburnt with fur?" She asked rolled onto her side so she could look at him. Sophia was secretly very happy taht he had found her again.
"No i hadn't planned on leaving for a while, the adventure can wait." Sophia commented then rolled back to look at the sky.
She saw a few clouds move over them and wondered if they could ever be reached. "Why did you come find me?"

"Yes. You can," he insisted, with that know-it-all look. "Your fur's not as thick on your belly. Sun goes right through it. Just so you know."
Then, despite his warnings, he also rolled over onto his back and tried to get a good look at whatever she was watching. "Who says I came to find you? I just happened across you, that's all."
But even he couldn't say that seriously. "What are you doing?"

She smiled, knowng he was lieing. It was cute that he came to find her, and she'd hoped he would. "Well i'll make sure to roll over before it starts to hurt." A chuckle came though her maw and she looked back to teh the sky.
"I'm cloud watching, have you never looked at the clouds and tried to guess what they looked like?" Sophia asked and pointed a paw towards a large cloud. "That one looks like a bear."

"Looks like rain," he countered. "But we'll get struck by lightning."
Sunburns and lightning? It was sure to be a very bad day. Then again, most days were bad days. Some were just worse than others.
"So. Some of...my cousin's friends," he wouldn't call them his friends. He didn't have friends, "have been talking about leaving." he brought this up very casually, glancing sideways at her to see what she had to say about it.

She looked up at the sky and shrugged, "Then we shall get wet, are you afraid to melt?" She asked
"Oh? Leaving to go where?" Sophia asked and peeked over at him. "Are you plannnig to follow them?" Part or her, a rather large part didn't want him to leave her just yet. But if it was what he wanted she could be happy.

"Aislin has these crackpot dreams. Really crazy things. She believes them, but I don't know...." his nose wrinkled. "Supposedly, there's this wonderful place that she's seen. Some kind of wolf-paradise. I'm thinking of going...just to laugh at them when they realize it's all make-believe, of course."
Fubar would never admit to being curious, or wanting to go on an adventure.

"Whoes Aislin?" She asked and tehn thought about this adventure. "If sounds like fun, i think you should go. You'll have fun and get so see so much."
Sophia rolled over onto her belly and laied her head over his chest and looked at him. "I know you want to go secretly."

"Aislin. She's...one of Novacaine's friends. I think she's some distant cousin of mine or something, too. Hard to keep track, honestly." His nose wrinkled. He had a hard enough time sorting out his immediate family, as there were so many aunts and uncles and first cousins.
He met her eyes as she turned to look at him, and then stiffened a little in alarm as she draped herself so comfortably over him, but he didn't pull away.
"You know..." he mused, as though this were a completely stupid thought and he expected her to dismiss it entirely. "If you're up for an adventure..."

"Oh i didn't know your family was so large." She said and looked up at him, her family was small. But she had many friends, in perhaps not so good places.
"I'm always up for an adventure." Sophia told him and smiled. "If you want me to go just ask."

((I don't have Fubar's done, but it's basically the same as Novacaine's -- you can see where Fubes fits in, here. Aislin's not actually related to him, for the record. But Novacaine assumes everybody in AA is his cousin lol))
He nodded sagely. "Oh yeah. There's a ton of us. I have a brother and four sisters, and then there's my half-siblings, and a dozen or so cousins that I know about. There might be more. My mom's got seven siblings. I don't know what my dad has, I never met him. He might be related to a grizzly bear for all I know." His expression as he explained all of this was deeply sour. Unlike his favorite cousin Novacaine -- who loved all his family, even though he didn't really like them sometimes -- Fubar didn't have any particular fondness about most his family one way or another.
"Why, don't you?"
Her statement made him look a little flustered. "I wasn't..." he started, and then stopped with a huff. "I just wanted someone to share the joke with, is all. You're...."
He didn't want to finish that sentence.

Sophia made a face, "How do you keep them all straight? I would get so confused with all those different wolves. Espically is they are all as brightly colored as you."
"I don't have a large family, my mother was a lone that never talked about my family. And my father was left as a pup. Its just the 5 of us that i know if, and i have never met another wolf who resembled my parents." She listened and wanted to know what the end of his sentence was.
Sophia looked up at him. "Your a bad lier, i'm what?" She asked and laied her head back down.

"So you've got brothers or sisters, too?" He asked, considering this. He wondered where they were, and why she wasn't with them. She seemed so much nicer than him, it was a little shocking to think there might be wolves she didn't get along with...and so he wanted to know all the gritty details about it if that was the case.
"You're...very nice to be around," he muttered, staring firmly at anything but her.
