It's a bird! It's a plane!
No...it's definitely what looks like the remnants of a centuries-old lemonade stand. A few slabs of wood laid over a barrel and the corpse of a shipping crate support a half-crushed cake and some frosted muffins in various colors. The cake has a sign that clearly marks it as currently inedible, and small muffled noises are coming from the dent in the top.
The muffins have no such warning, and seem to be generally up for grabs.
The booth itself doesn't have any indication as to what it's for, but the props around it give it clues... DO YOU KNOW THE MUFFIN MAN?If your character takes a muffin, please be sure to post in bold red, orange, or blue font depending on the color you took! Mysterious prizes will be raffled at the end of the festival! One muffin per player, please.

Next to the rickey cake-covered booth is a poorly painted slab of particle board, with a couple of holes neatly sawed out. The image appears to be a scene from some kind of western, with the pumpkin sun shining across a desert vista hosting a cactus, indian, and a pony-riding Cady in sherrif duds.
The holes seem just big enough for one to fit their head in.DIY PHOTO OP!Feel free to take the above image and stick your character's head into the open spots! Think if it as one of those cutout booths at theme parks. If you don't have art of your character to use or you want something drawn, feel free to ask me or someone else to do it for you! Be sure to post your pics, as the best photo op might win a prize <3

The photo board isn't the only badly painted object by this booth - but this next prop might end up being a crowd favorite. It's an inflatable punching dummy, weighed down at the bottom by sand and painted in the likeness of Cady herself.
This...may have not been one of the most well thought out of the manticore ghoul's endeavors.MIKE CADY TYSON'S PUNCH OUTDoes your student hate village idiots? Express their pain by rolling a d100and RPing your punch. Rolling and then editing back in is fine, but please do so in a timely fashion! Only one punch per day, per player. Punches will be recorded and will be entered in yet another mysterious raffle.

Skulking around the booth area are a pair of manticats sporting cowboy hats and badges. If you stare at them too long, they're liable to pin you with a badge of your own - in your tender bits. There was a small, unnoticeable commotion behind the picture board. It seemed someone was getting ready to get their picture taken, but there was no sound coming from either of the two. This would be because the majority of their conversation was private, in each other's minds.
When the photographer was ready, two very distinctly purple, tentacled heads stuck through the holes. One looked annoyed - the other, just smug.
A single thought became public.
But why do I have to be the horse?
The picture was taken, and they were both gone their separate ways before anyone other than the photographer had known the wiser. Too bad it wasn't a video, though. It would have looked like this.

Cady dusted her hands off. Here it was, in all it's shining glory. So what if the actual booth didn't have a sign? The shiny sheriff badge pinned to the ghoul's collared shirt said it all, obviously. It was time...to re-tally-ate.
She saw the flash of light before she heard the click of the insta-Krowdak camera go off. It looked like someone had already started using the photo board. She pinned the picture of the two betentacled students to the lonely-looking tack board next to it and stepped back to admire her handiwork. Yep, perfect. She nudged one of the manticats with a boot, mentally willing them to look less disinterested. They were her deputies, they had to Uphold her Reputation.
Watch out, cowpokes. Sheriff Cady is comin' to town.

What drew the cowboil to the booth? Was it the wooden, western style set up? The cake? The Photo Op? Hats?!
No, it was the badges.
Mot stood in front of the booth, dreamy eyed (if his eyes could even be seen, which was a definite no). He could use a sherrif's badge! At the same time, perhaps he should greet the ghoul manning the booth. "Howdy!" Mot said with a grin. "Oh hey! You're from Prom! Court Jester!"

What was Mandy doing here? Who knew. it wasn't like Cady was direct competition for her, though she could have been checking out who she might end up working with.
She didn't look very impressed.
And then she noticed the muffins and her expression was a 1000 times happier as she munched on one of the blue ones.
Delicious, delicious sugar.
Polishing off her muffin she gave the Punching Cady a contemplative look before with an evil grin she socked it one, chuckling quietly as it bounced back and forth from the force of her punch.
With that she strolled back off into the bustle of the festival.
.....Well that was talkative.

Cady nodded slowly to Mot. A bit of burnt wood jutted from her mouth in what she felt was a really cool fashion. "It might be that I am." She squinted at him (had she ever not been squinting?) and added appraisingly, "You won a hat. For dancin'." She rolled her shoulders in a shrug. "Might be that I'm here...to win me another hat. A better hat." She tilted the cowboy prop hat she was wearing for emphasis. But Cady couldn't really manage to hold the tough ghoul act for long. She peered curiously at Mot's own duds (how had she not noticed his amazingly appropriate attire before?) and grinned, sending the wood chunk dropping to the ground. "HEY, it's like we dressed alike. You look so cool. Would you like a muffin? Gladys baked them! They're very good, although the cake got squished in shipping. But you can't eat the cake, it's a surprise." How the cake that was laid out very plainly and obviously on the table was to be in any way surprising was anyone's guess.

This may have been another person trying for the same position as her, but Astra didn't want to be mean to someone just because they were! well..okay, maybe a few tricks, but only for fun! Tricks were fun, weren't they! Walking over to the booth, the fairy glanced about obviously impressed by the setting. One thing caught her eye though, a big picture with two holes cut into it. Hey, hat looked fun! ..Although she soon realized she wasn't tallenough to reach up to the holes in the board. But she soon figured this out, as she had located a stool close by

While she knew she couldn't vote because she was running, Junko still wanted to see who else was running for a position on Student Council. She wanted to give them her support and also let them know she was running, too! That's what you're supposed to do, right? Spread the word and all that. She felt bad leaving Tomoko behind at any time knowing the kitsune couldn't leave but Tomoko had insisted she would be okay, so with a bit of reluctance she was now out and about checking out the rest of the booths.
This one certainly caught her eye with its large painted wall and the cake. Dun eet? Oooh! Muffins! Junko picked up a red cupcake and took a curious little bite of it. Not bad! But...what was this booth for? Was it just to have fun? The manticats sporting star-shaped badges were a good hint. Cady? Ohhhh! What an adorable plushie! Junko picked up the plushie that resembled Cady, reading its shirt. "Awwww! Cady! This is adorable! Can we take these?" She wanted one! It could sit with the plushie of Riley and the plushie of herself. This was so cute! Junko looked up to give Cady her attention only to meet eyes with not Cady but a...balloon?
Wait...this looked like a punching bag in the fitness club room. Only more orange and more Cady-like.
...Could they hit this? Junko looked around for a moment, stepping closer and closer to the dummy. Now, it wasn't Cady she wanted to hit. Not at all. It was Andeon she wanted to hit. She tucked the plushie under her arm and held the muffin in the same hand, pouting at the dummy. Imagine Andeon. Imagine Andeon. Image Andeon.
She saw the picture of Andeon and Riley in the corner of her eye. That jerk had been here.
Without thinking her fist flew forward at the dummy.

The punching-Cady didn't respond to her inquiry, but wobbled a bit after being hit - perhaps indicating a yes.
Maybe next time it will respond if hit harder.

The tough girl act worked for a while. Mot wasn't entirely sure what to think about it, other than it was pretty Jackdamn badass.
Eventually though, Cady acted like she had again back onstage. Kind of strange, but very approachable. Mot grinned widely, standing proud. He did like to be complimented. "You look cool too! I've got to say that there isn't a better way to dress." Biased.
Mot turned his head to regard the muffins. Honestly, Mot didn't like to eat most of the time. But Cady seemed so nice, and she was offering, sooo... "Sure. I guess Ill have one." He loved the color red, so he grabbed one of the red cupcakes, taking a small bite from it.
He also couldn't help but notice people taking shots at the punching bag. Mot had little to no desire to hit something with a ghoul's face on it. For now, Mot decided to walk around some more.
