She had heard the announcement through her skull pin, and it had thrown her off considering she didn't even know it could do that. She thought it was just a pin meant to signify they were students at Amityville as well as keep students in a more humanoid form. She had no idea she was being watched, or that the skull pin she was wearing was basically an intercom. What a tricksy school. Nevertheless she had received a frantic text from Shehk about it and then contacted Tomoko about it. Since seeing Riley so confident and determined it had inspired her. She was going to try and regrow her broken backbone.

Junko was going to run for vice president.

The two ghouls had left the festival only long enough to get what they needed. When they returned the fruits of their combined labor was put up on display. Honestly it was just a table and a simple sign, but with Tomoko's illusions they were able to make it awesome. There were sparklers on the corners of the tables, perpetually lit and seemingly undying. It was impressive for something so last minute!

The sign read

In the middle of the table is a piece of cardstock propped up against a small little stand, written in Junko's signature dark red ink.

On one half of the table are two piles. Though one of them is considerably larger to work with, Junko only had so much time and so many buttons and so much material to work with. The obvious pile was in a cute basket decorated with gold and purple fabric.

These were Junko's buttons. Feel free to take one!

But what's this? A second basket decorated in blues and browns? It had a little sign of its own promoting SHEHK FOR PUBLIC RELATIONS! The pricolici couldn't attend the festival, but she had expressed interest on the student council elections to Junko. Junko felt it only right to help her friend.

But what's this? There's more! On the other side of the table sat several trays and boxes still! On these trays were an assortment of treats the two ghouls had whipped up. Cupcakes, brownies and an assortment of taiyaki with different fillings. It was a mystery even to Junko what was inside each fish, she didn't go with the traditional fillings of custard, cheese and chocolate.

What the..?! Who took a bite out of one and put one back?! This sad little brownie is left sitting on the corner by its lonesome.

There are also trays with squirrel-shaped spookies. They are delicious and adorable!

Beside the trays of delicious treats (and trust me..if you saw prom you'll know she has plenty of treats. No one look under the table you'll die of a sugar coma.) are an array of small little boxes large enough to fit two treats and a pin. A gift from Junko to YOU!

Upon closer inspection one can't help but notice...there's something strange about the taiyaki. Now, Junko would never ever do anything to taint food. She would never serve something she didn't think was delicious to everyone. Never ever...with the exception of The Mistress.

It seemed some gnomes felt otherwise.

Among the delicious taiyaki there seem to be some that are not so...delicious. Junko is completely unaware of this for now.

This table had more than just an overabundance of food, it also had presents! More tangible, durable, long-lasting presents that could be kept and remembered. And they were useful! Some of them were, anyway.

Hair sticks just like the ones Junko herself uses! In fact she's keeping a few pairs for herself. Anyone, ghoul or boil, is free to take a pair of each color! Try to keep it to just one, these are a more limited supply than the food!

Handcrafted paper cranes! These're mostly Tomoko's doing. Junko's...aren't as fantastic. Did you know folding one thousand paper cranes will make your wish come true? Dear, sweet Tomoko is also offering to write students' names in kanji! Like hers and Junko's.

After dealing with the whole haunted house thing, Shun decided to wander around the booths of the festivals. It was refreshing to be outside after being in that... wretched hellhole. He still had the fruity scent about him, even with his efforts to wash out what he could in the bathroom. At least he had managed to get off the lipstick marks.

As he moved around, he noticed a few booths being ran by students. It looked like a student council thing was running soon.

One in particular was run by a fellow Japanese student... who had taiyaki and some mochi at her booth. Intrigued, he wandered on over, motioning to Mitsu to come along. He recalled that Junko was the one in charge of the food at prom, so he supposed that he shouldn't be surprised there were so many treats here.

In any case, a snack sounded pretty good right about now.

"...How much are these?" he asked.

Following behind Shun, as she usually did, Mitsu was taking in the sights glad to be out of the haunted house. It was quite the nerve racking experience. For a moment she thought she had lost her friend to a world of pink and glitter. The poor reaper still smelled of posies.

Turning when Shun motioned her to follow, the lupine trotted up behind him the smell of food catching her nose. Eyes lighting up behind her mask Mitsu looked around Shun to see what was near by. "Food?" She questioned quietly, looking at the different things at the booth. They all looked so good.

"Everything smells so good." It reminded her of Prom and all the tasty food that had been there.

Junko brushed a bit of glitter off her arm while taking a break from setting up her booth, pouting when all she managed to do was transfer the glitter from her sleeve to her hand. Ugh, fantastic. Why couldn't she get this stuff off?! "Maybe I should've taken a bath while we were back at your house." She sighed to Tomoko, giving the kitsune ghoul a smile before she heard footsteps approaching. Hmmm? She gasped with delight and clapped her hands together, ignoring how it seemed to make a puff of glitter fall off her from the sudden motion.

"Hello Shun! Miss Mitsu~! Thank you! Tomoko and I worked very hard to try and get as much made as we could! There're plenty where this came from." Junko chirped, smiling proudly. She was so excited for this! "And they're completely free! For your vote, of course." Naturally! Though..they didn't have to vote for her. They could still have the food.

Tomoko was beaming brightly as she sat behind the table at the booth, her ball of stars glowing in her lap. The fact she was running up an illusion while sitting so contently would have been a surprise to her months before. But now? Now she was so proud of herself! She just had to hope Remi wouldn't be a jerk if he wandered by the booth.

Not that he was one, but still. A kitsune illusion-fight would have been weird.

"If I could leave I'd get you a lint roller to see if that would help" Tomoko offered helpfully to Junko, smiling.

She then looked at the pair who approached and beamed, seeming to practically glow with delight; Tomoko was quite easy to appease and her joy was plain on her face.

"Hiiiiii!!" she grinned, adorable as she always was. Well, if one could handle how much happiness she just had about everything. Well. Most everything. "I think everything is free!" She put on her most serious face. For Tomoko, that wasn't very serious, "I mean, it costs your support in the upcoming Student Council election!" Her serious face didn't last long before she was beaming again.

The kitsune fussed with an ink-and-brush set for a moment, pulling a piece of cut up cardstock over to herself.

She wrote Junko's name on it in Kanji before sliding it over to the Futakuchi-onna, then wrote her own in turn before looking up at the pair. "Do either of you want your name written in Kana? If there's Kanji in it you'll have to tell me which one it is."

So eager to please.

There was a moment before she pointed to the other basket of pins along with the Squirrel spookies.

"Miss Wolf-lady isn't here at school 'cause she went home already, but she would like your support too!" she added.

Nodding in agreement with Mitsu, Shun turned his attention over towards Junko. It was now that he saw that she was... sparkling. Frowning, he didn't really want to know what was up with that and just did what he could to ignore it.

"Nice," he said before glancing at the booth.

... Rice president? Wait, not that can't be right. It had to be vice president. Shaking his head to himself, he went on and grabbed two of the taiyaki. One for himself, and the other for Mitsu.

Before taking a bite, he raised an eyebrow at the enthusiastic kitsune he had met in the not-math class.

"No thanks.. I can write myself... sort of."

The last bit was mumbled lowly. His dyslexia was not any kinder to his Japanese reading and writing capabilities than it was for his English. However, he wasn't really sure who Tomoko meant by 'Miss Wolf-lady' having never really met Shehk before.

"Well.. good luck running I guess," he said before looking at his taiyaki, "Been awhile since I've had one of these."

Taking a bite, the Reaper tasted the sweet chocolate filling in the inside. It was rather tasty.

"...This is pretty good."

Hel decided to keep up the trend of visiting more booths, and the next one she happened across was being maintained by the ghoul she had met earlier. The reaper grinned as she approached the table, giving Junko a wave with her hair hand. “Junko.” She greeted cheerfully. “I did not know you were also running for a position!”

Her dual toned gaze swept over the items, lingering on the paper cranes and the hair sticks. The reaper gave a tilt of her head, intrigued. She’d never really seen items like these before! They weren’t familiar to her culture at all. “These are…very lovely.” She commented, gesturing to the items that had caught her attention.

A lint roller? Hmmm..that would help! But Tomoko couldn't leave and Junko wasn't about to ditch her for anything. She did feel a little bad that Tomoko was going to coop herself up in her booth instead of enjoying the rest of the festival at her leisure, but the kitsune had offered and insisted on it. She was going to receive so much thanks for this. So much! Junko giggled and reached over to affectionately rub behind one of Tomoko's ears. "It's okay, Tomo-chan. Thank you for your concern, though~!" She giggled, blinking a bit and pausing to watch Tomoko reiterate her answer to Shun and Mitsu. Ahaha! Her serious face! How adorable! The ghoul laughed, putting a hand over her mouth to try and muffle it as she turned back to the pair in front of her booth. "I'd been considering it off and on for a little while, seeing Riley's determination for it basically gave me the push I needed!" Needless to say, her vote for president was long decided. Though she had a feeling she couldn't vote for anyone now that she was running; it'd been the rules last time, after all.

Junko looked down when she heard Tomoko fussing about, picking up the card with her name on it with a delighted gasp. "Tomo-chan! This is so pretty! Thank you~!" She leaned over to hug her and thought better of it. Glitter. She didn't want to get glitter on Tomoko. Ugh. This stupid glitter! She settled for pecking a kiss against the kitsune's temple before standing the two cards against one of the boxes that kept hers and Shehk's pins. Oh, yes. This would definitely be a fun thing to offer others along with the other presents she had on her table. "Hmm?" Junko turned to Shun again as she heard him mumble, having a hard time making out what he had said. What had it been? Or Dove? Who's Dove? He didn't look like he wanted to talk about it. Sludgesticks.

"Thank you~! And yes, I'm helping promote Shehk for Public Relations as well since she can't be here right now! She's captain of the FEARleading team and played Jack in the...ah...production the school held this year." It had certainly been a production. A good one? That was questionable. Her hair lifted a bit as she watched Shun take a bite out of one of her taiyaki. She felt nervous for some reason, but she couldn't quite place why. Why should she be worried about someone not liking her food? Even She had been trying to steal some of it! Speaking of The Mistress Junko had to slap away a tendril of hair as it reached for a cupcake. Quit that! The slapped hair wrapped around her wrist in an almost defiantly bratty way.

Such a child.

"You like it? I'm so glad! It's been awhile since I made taiyaki!" She just wished she'd kept better track of what had which filling, especially for students like Mitsu who were of the canid variety. Chocolate was bad! Her worries were put on hold when she heard her name again, however. Hmmm? Oh! Junko grinned and waved to Hel, glad to see the ghoul again. "Hello, Miss Hel! It's very nice to see you again! And yes, I am. I'm running for Vice President!" Junko stated with as much confidence and authority as she could. She surprised herself with being able to manage something pretty decent!

As her offerings were complimented Junko seemed to brighten, her hair puffing with pride. "Thank you! Feel free to take whatever you'd like~! Tomoko can even fold you a new paper crane, or write your name for you like this," She gestured to the card stock with her name and Tomoko's name written in kanji. "And I'd be happy to style your hair for you using one of these if you'd like!" While eating a cupcake. And wearing a pin. Oh, yes...Junko had thought this out. Junko picked up two sets of hair sticks to show Hel, one pink and one purple.

Honestly, she wanted an excuse to touch her hair. It looked soft.

Oooh…another candidate for Vice President! This was starting to get tricky! If she was a student here, who would she vote for? Hmmm. Ash had a nice booth going and had being a screejay under her belt…but Junko put forth an amazing display as well with all of her items displayed out on the table. The reaper furrowed her brows. Oh…you know what? If she wanted something, she should probably take Junko up on the offer right now…what if someone came by and ruined the booth again?

The reaper looked towards Tomoko, offering the kitsune a smile and a tilt of her head. “That would be very kind of you. I’ve…never seen these before.” She gestured towards the paper cranes. “H-E-L.” She spelled out for her. When Junko offered to style her hair, the reaper blinked. Huh! She never thought about changing her hair before…and Junko seemed….kind of eager to do it. She wasn’t going to turn the ghoul down, after all, that wouldn’t be a kind show of a possible blooming friendship. “…Purple…please.” She then reached up and undid the bands on her pigtail braids, tucking them into her apron pockets as she then ran her fingers through her hair, pausing as some glittered sprinkled out.

“….Pardon me.” She uttered, frowning. “…It’s going to be a while before it all gets out.”
