User ImageClover was glad to have another nice day come. She couldn't wait till she was outside in the sun drawing. She half payed attention to the classes as for the day. When her last class let out she almost ran to her dorm and dropped off her school book bag and grabbed her art kit.

She bounded down the stairs and out the door and onto the grounds. "Yet another wonderful day~" she said happily. She found a spot to sit in the sun and draw. She normally would have drawn the landscape. This time however she was doodling sneakers with wings and different wing designate.

"I wonder which one Dorian will like." she thought to herself. The Hufflepuff was completely transfixed on what it was she was doing that she didn't notice the Slytherins near her.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Dorian had been mulling something over in his head for most of the week. He had been trying to figure out a transfiguration spell but no matter how hard he had tried it just wouldn't work. He had rather hoped that it would be brought up in class that Thursday but it seemed as though he was the only one having a problem with the spell. So he waited patiently until class was through and everyone had left the room before he approached the teacher to ask his question.

It miffed him a bit that the teacher seemed a bit skeptical about him having a problem with the spell. Sure, so he normally didn't ask for help and he appeared to know the answer to nearly everything they were supposed to know; but that didn't make him the smartest student in the class. Dorian waited, a bit annoyed as the teacher shuffled through his papers as he thought over the question.

After what seemed like ages, the teacher was able to find an answer that made sense. With renewed hop that He would be able to perform the spell Dorian left in slightly better spirits.

As he exited the Castle and made his way onto the grounds, Dorian noticed a familiar red head sitting under the sun and drawing. He smiled and made his way over to her. He noticed a moment too late, a smirking fellow slytherin pull what appeared to be a bomb of some sort out of his pocket and launch it over towards Clover's unsuspecting head.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing!" Dorian demanded, going after the Slytherin who had thrown the bomb. He should have gone after the bomb and tried to throw it away he soon discovered when the bomb exploded and a shower of ink rained down on Clover and her sketchbook, drenching them in a dark purple mess.

Dorian winced at the sight, and then approached her asking. "Are you okay?"

Clover walked was shocked at the fact she had just been doused in a cloud of ink. She stared at her sketch book and the next thing she was tarring the ruined pages away from the rest of the sketch book to try and save what paper she had left. She had lost the sketches she had been working on and about eight other pages because it all stuck together. ”What a waste of paper,” She said to herself luckily she didn’t lose the drawings she had already done as they where protected by the cardboard back of the sketch book.

She got up and looked at the Slytherin with a cold look in her eyes. ”Dorian look after my kit for me,” She said as she walked past her friend and up to the snickering Slytherin. ”You think it’s funny?” She was rather upset that someone from the Slytherin house had decided to prank her since she was friends with a few of them. ”You think this is funny?” she asked again. She the socked the Slytherin in the jaw though he was a grate deal bigger then her. ”You are an imbecile if you think that! You are so down on the emotional food chain you go picking on others to make yourself feel important.” she said.

She then walked back to where her kit and Dorian where, ”So what you think of the Transfiguration lessen today?” she asked picking up the ink stained papers. She looked at herself and the kit and sighed the only real reason she asked about that day’s class was to try and distract herself and yet her purple-ink stained arm was right their in front of her face. She then looked at him with a rather sad face. ”You wouldn’t happen to know a spell to get ink stains out would you?” she asked a little disappointed in herself.

She shook her head, ”Think the green house sink is the closest?” she asked with a half chuckle looking towards the green house and then to the castle as if she was trying to figure out which one was closer to her to clean up with. She clicked her tongue as she looked back at the green house. ”I think it is,” she said and started that way trying not to touch things, At least using the green house Dorian could turn on the water for her.

"An ink bomb?" Quillan inquired, propping himself up from the Slytherin couch. For the past hour or so, he'd be laying in the common room, trying to avoid most of the other housemates. It had been working rather well, if he did say so himself, until a nosy kid came up to him and asked him if he could sell him some ink bombs. "And why, I might ask, would I have those? Seeing as, y'know, they're a bit risky to bring here?" Quillan questioned, feigning innocence. Of course he had an ink bomb or two on him--but that didn't mean he wasn't going to milk this kid for all the money he could get outta him.

"Don't act all coy! I've seen them in your drawer--give me some." The other Slytherin demanded, crossing his arms as he stood over the couch where Quill was sitting.

And immediately, Quill's eyes narrowed up at him. Sure, it was a rather stupid place to put the ink bombs, but it didn't mean that the other kid had a right to spy on him! What a nosy little git. "Strange way to ask a guy for a favor," he commented, pulling himself off the couch and standing to his full height, which was several inches taller than the other boy. "What can you do for me? I mean, I was planning on using those ink bombs for something very important... I might not be able to spare one or two," Quillan mused, a soft, devious grin on his face.

The other boy was frowned, unhappy with the position he was in. "I'll give you this," he said, digging into his pocket to pull out several packs of candy.

"Oh, my... I already have those," Quillan commented, giving a slight snort and the boy a downward stare as if to say 'why, how outdated you are.'

The boy fumed. Quillan could've sworn he almost growled. "Fine, here's my allowance. Can I have the bombs now?" He inquired, impatiently shoving some coins into Quillan's hand.

Quillan stared at the money, quickly counting it all in his mind before looking up at the other boy, and in a dry voice, questioning, "This is it?"

After an exasperated sigh, the boy threw more coins into his hands and Quillan, pleased by his work, gave him two ink bombs. Ah, rich boys and their ignorance towards prices, Quillan relished, walking out of the Common Room. Those ink bombs weren't worth half the price the other kid had payed him.

Now, it was time to skiddadle before one of that boy's not-so-rich friend's told him so, and the Green House seemed like a good place to hide.

Dorian stared after Clover a bit alarmed by her abrupt departure, and prayed that she wasn't going to go and hit anyone. he had the idea that she probably was. Dorian glanced around fervently hoping a teacher wasn't going to pass by right when she slugged the guy.

Dorian gulped, and stood over her kit keeping one eye on her the whole time. He wasn't too surprised that the other fellow went down really easily despite the stature he had over Clover. He winced and prayed that the older Slytherin would stay down.

Dorian suddenly frowned as a sudden thought flashed through his mind. The ink bombs eerily reminded him of Quill's pranks. He could have sworn he had noticed five of the same ink bombs in Quill's dresser drawers just that morning.

Dorian's thoughts were interrupted by Clover's brusque question about their class together. "Uh..it was pretty good. Though I didn't quite understand it all that well. I had to stay after and ask a question, otherwise I might have been here to stop that oaf from using that ink bomb on you." Dorian replied, with a wince. "Uh..not off the top of my head. I know there's a spell in my book that can probably help. It's up in my room though." Dorian added, a sudden thought coming to him.

He could go to his room and check on Quill's drawer to see if his supposed "friend" had been the one to supply the bombs. If It had been him, he was definitely going to have to get to the bottom of it. He wasn't going to allow Quill to ruin his friendship with Clover. Not if he could help it.

"Most likely, by the time you got to one inside the ink would already have set in your shirt. And your hair. " Dorian said with a wince seeing the purple ink that was running down her head, shirt and robes.

Dorian grabbed her art kit and followed after her. Despite her already having punched out the doofus who had used the bombs on her, a proper revenge was needed. And Dorian planned on helping her get even.

Clover felt a bit better having punched the upper class men that had inked her. "Thanks for coming with me to the green house to clean up. And caring my things wall I get the ink off." she said with a small smile. "Too bad we just lost the different wing sketches I just did." she said referring to the torn clump of papers in her hands.

"Sorry if I scarred you.... I told you I don't like to take stuff like that..." she reminded him as they walked into the green house where she tossed the ruined sheets of drawing paper in the trash bin. she went over to the sink turning on the water and washing her arms a bit before she started unbraided her hair putting it under the water.

She had no idea about the other Slytherin boy in the green house at the moment, but did her best to wash the ink out of her shirt without taking it off since Dorian was there. "I wonder if that Slythein picked me because I was from Hufflepuff house." she said rather desgruntled. "It's not your fault that you had to ask the teacher a question, and I got inked so don't be too hard on yourself Dorian. Our adventures somehow seem to stem out of pranging at the moment." she said rubbing the water on her arms some more.

"What a mess that is though." she said looking at her shirt some more shaking her head.

Quillan had only occupied the greenhouse for a grand total of five minutes before he heard soft chattering. Normally, he would've just dismissed it completely, seeing as people pass the greenhouse during free time all the time. However, the word "ink bomb" made his ears twitch in alarm. The voice was male, and it was too muffled by the greenhouse walls for Quillan to be certain of their identity... Thus, the only logical thing was to do an awesome, though slightly frantic, full body roll underneath some of the greenhouse tables and sit it out from there. Blast... why, of all places, would you go to a greenhouse after using an ink bomb! Seeing as the Slytherin he sold the thing to wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, Quillan was surprised that he even knew where the greenhouse was! Dumb people usually forgot things that had to do with educational purposes... So yes, this was just his luck!

From his little table-cave, Quillan could see the door creep open before exposing two pairs of feet. From the shoe styles, there was a girl and a boy. Scandalouuus! He grinned to himself, remembering his mother using that word when talking to one of her other friends. From what he gathered, it was something when a girl and a boy were together alone... So this was definitely a scandalous situatation--

Wait. That's Dorian!

Quillan perked up when he heard his friend's voice. But... that meant Dorian was in a scandalous situation! Egads, what a shame! "He was so young too" (something Quillan had also heard his mother say)! Well, now Quillan was just plain conflicted. Though Dorian was his friend... if he was doing scandalous things with girls...

His rampant thoughts were immediately calmed when Dorian and the girl began to talk. Ahhh... So this was the poor victim? Oh well. Quillan really couldn't care what his clients did with the items that they bought from him--and Quillan couldn't be held responsible, either.

Now that he had determined that the two people before him were of no harm to him... Quillan decided to take advantage of the situation. He waited till Dorian walked past him, Quillan's eyes following his shoes intently, before sneaking out from under the table and creeping up on Dorian. "BOO!" Quillan yelled at Dorian's back just before throwing himself at his friend's shoulders.

"Dorian! How scandalous you are!" He exclaimed, feeling a bit betrayed by his friend's acts... whatever scandalous meant. Quillan made an attempt to perch his chin on Quillan's shoulders. As he did, he got a good sight of the girl he was with.

"Ah, those nasty ink bombs! Great money makers, though..." Quillan frowned, sympathizing with the girl a little bit, though feeling not in the least bit guilty.

Clover had been working on the ink on her blouse when a male voice came out. Not one belonging to Dorian ether. He was a Slytherin like Dorian and obviously one of his friends.

Clover looked at him, he was lengthy and had bright red hair brighter then hers. His freckles stood out on his pail skin more then Dorian's or at least it seemed that way to her.

The thing that cot her attention with this guy the most was that he used the word 'scandalous' "What would you know about a thing like that?" she asked as she turned the water off. "A friend of Dorian's... who's hiding out.... You must be Quill." she said remembering Dorian saying that Quill seemed to had a knack of getting Dorian into trouble.

She rung her hair out and braided it back up. "Well at least there wasn't to much damage.... other then the wast of paper.... I would have peferd a pepper bomb to an ink bomb..." she said more to herself then to Dorian and Quill, if this was Quill.

She took her kit back from Dorian, "Thanks for bringing it...." she said as she checked her art kit "Looks like the ink missed most of the stuff inside, and just got the outside of the kit bag. That's good." she said with a smile. "Kinda works, for what it is." she said with a shrug.

She looked over at the door. "I bet that upper class men dummy is hiding out in your guys house." She said with a smug smirk. "Getting knocked onto his butt by a first year girl is probably rather embarrassing. Let a lone one that's a Hufflepuff." After that she had an odd scene of pride in herself for standing up for herself.

Dorian shrugged, "It's what friends do for one another." he replied with a small smile. His smile fell when he heard that she had lost some sketches she had been working on. "Well that bites. Though I imagine that you'll be able to do some better ones. You scare me? I think you scared that older boy more than me. I just hope he doesn't try to retaliate against that. They do know more spells than we do." he said with a sudden shudder.

"More than likely it was because you were what he thought was an easy target. Seems like most of the Slytherins tend to do that when they get bored." he said shaking his head in annoyance. "We ought to do something to show them you're not an easy target..then perhaps they'll leave you alone.
Yes, so they do." he ended with a sigh. "You'd think the teachers would be watching more closely for that sort of thing."

Dorian nearly jumped out of his skin when a sudden shout came from behind him and Quill was suddenly hanging around his neck. "Merde Quill! You nearly gave me a heart attack!" he exclaimed with an annoyance as he pried his friend's hand off of his shoulder.

Dorian's eyes narrowed on Quill when he mentioned the ink bombs. He didn't look the least bit guilty..seeing as he was probably the one who made them. The lack of guilt made him even more certain that Quill was indeed the one behind it.

"I don't know what they heck you're talking about Quill." He frowned and then fell silent as Clover began to talk to Quill. It seemed..almost as though she didn't like Quill all that much.

"More than likely he's hiding out plotting what to do next. I bet he's fuming mad." Dorian added. "And being that mad will make him do something that could be much worse for you. Quill, how about you go check on that? I imagine you might like doing a bit of sleuthing. And then you can help us turn the tides on that jerk."
PostPosted: Wed Sep 28, 2011 4:15 pm

A part of Quillan died a little bit when Dorian forcibly removed his arms from his shoulder. "Fun-killer~!" He interjected, his eyes narrowing at his friend. Did he not seem to understand how much Quillan adored using other people as stands? Huff-puff! And Dorian was the perfect size too! Quillan's elbow rested without any strain on his friend's shoulder and it just appallingly rude for Dorian to deny him of such a treat! Completely and excessively RUDE! So ignoring Dorian's discomfort, Quillan made a move to plop his arm around Dorian's shoulders once again, and this time, just for spite, Quillan was planning on keeping it there for ETERNITY.

And then that other girl started talking. Man, the sound was like a fly literally jammed into Quillan's ears. "Yeah, yeah," Quillan shook off her seemingly bitter comments--why did she dislike him anyway? Maybe Quillan did something, because... Well, it wasn't like Quillan could remember all the things that somehow managed to get others angry.

"Of course you don't, Dorian!" Quillan rolled his eyes at his friend's denial of his scandal. "That's what they all say! I think...--or, at least I've heard," Quillan rambled, thinking again back to the countless conversations between his mother and her lady-friends.

He was about to comment again when that red-haired girl said something about beating up a Slytherin upperclassman. "Whaaaaaaaat?" Quillan's eyebrow raised, finally paying attention to the girl next to him. "Well, I do think a lot of our classmates are cowards..." He mused, placing his finger up to his chin like that one crappy statue that everyone on muggle-tv seemed to make fun of. "I don't know, Dorian, that seems like a lot of work," Quillan protested, letting out a large sigh. Sluething was only fun when he wanted to know something--why should he help some girl who he didn't even know?

Clover nodded to Dorian. "Yeah that's true, they do know more spells then we do." she said and leaned agents the wall. "Still was nice punch him after what he did. And him landing on his a** was classic." she smirked holding the kit strap since it was draped over her. "Just because my parents live in the city doesn't change the fact that I prefer being at the farm. And moving feed seems to have helped me." she added chuckling.

She was a little annoyed that Quill had just shrugged her off the way he did. When all she did was make observations. Though she might have come off a little mad at Quill for no reason. "Look I'm sorry if I came off bitter. I'm just a little annoyed right now and the way you came out just aggravated it a little. Like you where apart of the party that had inked me. I shouldn't jump to conclusions and I am sorry for that. I'm Clover Heartwel by the way." She said putting her clover hair clip back in her hair.

"However don't accuse Dorian of being in a scandal. Dorian is a decent guy and though capable of a prank or two I would be highly shocked if he where to do anything truly scandalous." She said her emerald eyes staring at Quillan in a cold and yet welcoming way "Do you even know what it means?" she asked when she heard his ramblings.

Clover closed her eyes and chuckled when Quill seemed to not want to sneak about. "Ah well if he doesn't want to help then that's fine. We can show that upper classmen that this Hufflepuff isn't just another softy. I didn't think that Slytherins where cowards though." she said opening her eyes. The way she said it was to get Quill to try and do it but if he didn't want to she wasn't going to force him to do it ether.
PostPosted: Wed Sep 28, 2011 7:56 pm

Dorian didn't know why Quill always insisted on using his shoulder as an arm rest. It was so bony and uncomfortable that he always removed it to keep it from creating a permanent groove in his muscle. He met Quill's narrowed eyes with a set of his own. "Whatever," He sighed. "Just stop sticking your arm in my shoulder. You're killing me with it." he added.

Dorian was a bit surprised with how Clover defended him, though he found it nice to have someone stand up for him for once. He shook his head in agreement and then shot a look over at Quill.

"Of course you believe what everyone else says except your only friend says." Dorian scoffed in disbelief. "Really Quill, you'd think you could be more loyal than that."

Dorian was getting a little perturbed with how Quill was acting towards Clover. Just because she was a girl and from a different House, he was acting hostile and annoying. Dorian itched to either step on his foot, club him in the face or just move and make Quill fall flat on his face. He could feel the entirety of Quill's weight leaning against him already..even after telling him to let up.

He nodded at Clover with a slight smile. "Though there are ways to get around that. They might know more spells..but if we can keep it on school grounds they will be limited to what they can use. That was quite a sight." he added with a smirk.

Then he shot a look at Quill. "Anything that entails exerting energy is too much work for you. You need to stop complaining. It won't be that bad, plus it will be fun. Unless you'd rather Clover and I did it ourselves. That might be a better way to do it, that way you won't lose your prime napping hours."

"I'm killing you?" Quillan inquired with a hurt voice. Dorian and he were best friends and now he was killing Dorian? Well, all good things had to come to an end, so feeling slightly dejected for once in his life, Quillan removed his weight from off Dorian and stood on his feet. Maybe he's just in a bad mood--or maybe... "You have cooties, don't you!" Quillan exclaimed, jumping back from Dorian and Clover as if he just found out they both had the plague. It all made sense now! Dorian was being hostile for Quillan's own good because he didn't want Quillan to catch the cooties! Yes! They were still best friends... And maybe, the cooties were controlling him! That's why he was being so nice to Clover--She was the origins of the cooties!

"You guys are gross," Quillan said with disgust, grossing his arms. His attention shifted to Clover, "Nice to meet you, I guess-- how much can I pay you to remove your cooties from off Dorian?" He inquired, glancing between the two. It made sense that Dorian was contaminated--he wasn't the cleanest of people, or so it seemed. Quillan was always cleaning up his mess. Tsk tsk. "And yes! You guys are bloody scandalous--that's why you gave Dorian cooties! See! It's effecting how he's acting--it's all angry and mean-like!" Quillan pointed out, jabbing his finger in Dorian's direction (though still several feet away, because he didn't want to catch cooties).

"You guys can go by yourself--why does it effect--Darn!" Quillan cursed under his breath, "I can't just let you run around alone with Dorian! What if his cooties get worse?" He bit the corner of his lips before sighing exaggeratedly, "This isn't fun at all--but for Dorian's safety... I'll tag along." Then, looking into Dorian's eyes, he nodded, "I got your back!"
PostPosted: Thu Sep 29, 2011 9:59 am

Clover looked at Quillan in disbelieve. "Cooties? Are you kidding me? What are we in elementary school?" she asked gripping her kit's strap wanting to hit Quill for the stupid comment, but for Dorian's sake she was doing her best. She sarcastically said "Yes we went back in time and I gave him the cooties." She scoffed rolling her eyes and more strongly stated "No you dummy I didn't turn Dorian agents you, I didn't put him under a spell nor did I use a potion. Making someone do something agents their will disgusts me."

She couldn't believe how childish he was acting like he was six years old, not elven. "I didn't give Dorian Cooties, Nor is any of this Scandalous. He was just helping me. I got inked by that Slytherin Upper class-men and he carried my art kit. That is it nothing more. We are just friends you child." she huffed.

She closed her eyes and like she was thinking "Fine if you think he's got cooties and that's what get's to help. Whatever." She grumbled opening her eyes to look at Quillan.

She looked about for a moment and moved over to the table and put her art kit on the table opened the kit. She pulled the pad out flipping to a blank page the kit's content rolling out a little. She picked up a piece of charcoal and started drawing an Emotional Abstract. A few times she switched out for a color pastel but kept going back to the charcoal with it's heavy dark strokes. In about five mints she was done and sat down breathing heavily. She slapped the piece of charcoal down. "Don't let it get to you." she said to her self breathing. She went and picked up the green pastel and signed and dated it.

Dorian rolled his eyes and shot Quill an annoyed look. Why did Quill have to over exaggerate everything? "No I don't.." he began to reply when Clover broke in saying. "Cooties? Are you kidding me? What are we in elementary school?"

Dorian held back a snort, and muttered, "With Quill it's always elementary."
He groaned when Quill ignored her and began to get even more irate. Dorian closed his eyes and rubbed his forehead for a moment.
"Quill you always make me angry and mean if you recall. It's your own doing. And no I don't have cooties! Stop being so annoying!" He retorted, feeling the twitch in his right eye start to act up.

"See? You've got my eye twitching already!" he said pointing to it.

Dorian was starting to regret his asking Quill for his help, and found himself more annoyed than pleased when Quill finally insisted on sticking around to make sure that nothing happened to him. "Thanks ever so much Quill." he told his friend sarcastically.

He was a bit surprised at Clover's need to suddenly paint and waited patiently as she finished the emotion laden picture. He eyed it and shuddered a bit. For some reason he got the funny feeling that it had something to do with what she wanted to do to Quill at the moment. There was no way he could leave the two of them alone..ever.

"Are you okay?" he asked Clover carefully as she signed her art.
