The Star Spring is a cool spring bubbling between the Twin Hills that serve as a drinking spot for BreezeClan cats.

 "To live is to slowly be born."_____________________________Embergaze_____________________________[Embergaze followed after Serpentfang, glancing around at the beautiful spring. He wasn't as timid as he used to be, but being around another shy cat made him feel bashful.
He nodded to the other cats, hastily padding off to take cover for hunting. All they had to do was wait by the spring; prey gathered here to take a drink in the cool waters.
Sure enough, a rabbit hopped up to the water, quickly lapping up the refreshing liquid. Embergaze pounced, streaking after it as it bounced out of his grasp and down the hill.
After a brief chase, he caught the creature and dragged it back up the hill towards the others. Prey on that side of the hill had seen him and probably would not be coming towards the spring for a while, but there were still other prey around the area.
Turned out all he could manage was a mouse; he could not find (or reach) any other prey. He raised his head, glancing around to see how the others were doing. They should probably head back to camp soon. Embergaze wanted to see Galestar's kittens as well as return to his own.]

  Even if a snake is not poisonous...__________________________________________________________
[After she had wandered of for a short moment Serpentfang slowly emerged from the tall grass surrounding the peaceful spring, a sparrow and two mice in her jaws. She buried the pray in a discrete place so that she wouldn't have to carry it around and could pick it up later when they were done hunting. Noticing Embergaze she smiled in his direction.]
"Catch anything yet? You can bury it here to keep it safe with Serpentfang's kill."
[She offered in her soft voice as her green eyes began to wander and search the spring. a small gathering of minnows caught her attention as she slipped over to pear down at them. They would not make a very good meal, but they way they swam was mesmerizing to watch. With a peaceful look she swayed her tail back and forth, watching them pick at the gravel unaware of her presence. When she grew bored of watching them she moved on to catching birds who cant to the spring to drink, and then after a while took a brake to poke at a slow moving turtle with curiosity. Serpentfang was thoroughly enjoying her patrol. it had been a while since she had been here.]

"No thanks," he said softly, raising his head to look squarely at her (and feeling his gut clench in fear of keeping someone else's gaze). Because of said nervousness, he continued in a stutter, "S' about time w-we head back, I th-think. L-looks like the others are done hunting, and I c-c-can't seem to find any more prey; th-the winds have shifted, and w-we're upwind now-all the p-prey on the other side of the hills c-can smell us. Th-they won't be coming h-here."
[He was a senior warrior; he had every right to advise another cat. He wasn't ordering her. Breathe.
This is what he had to tell himself in order not to burst into an apology and meekly slink away.]
"Y-you see, Serpentfang, I'm a little eager to see G-galestar's kits as w-well as my own. I-I meant no insult."
[He flattened his ears, feeling his fur rise in horror at the thought of him hurting another's feelings, but he forced himself to sit there diligently and gave her a brisk nod, eyes bulging out of his head in his worry.]
(( Poor brute's trying so hard to be assertive and nice at the same time xD ))

[Seprentfang looked up from her game of turtle poking to catch Embergaze's bright eyes. His shy stuttering made her nervous as well as she listened to his suggestion. She wanted to catch some more food for the clan, but she too was very eager to see her old mentor and Frostcalw's newborn kittens. Smiling meekly she nodded.]
"Y-Yeah, see the kittens! We should do that! Serpentfang is sure we have enough for one day..."
[Quickly she rent to her hidden spot where she dug up her all the pray she had caught in her mouth. With a mouth full she did not speak but flicked her tail signaling that she was ready to go when ever everyone else was. She began to head back to Breezeclan, often checking over her shoulder to make sure she was not leaving anyone behind.]

Phew, he thought with relief, thank StarClan Serpentfang is so nice. Any other cat woulda chewed my nose off for such...such...cheekiness!
He begin to feel himself trust the she-cat more. Perhaps one day he would be as comfortable around her as he was around his mate and his children.
Just as I thought...merely hanging around other cats brings you closer to them, he thought silently. As you both begin to understand one another. Interesting...]

Their fur pricked with excitement as they heard the specific words. Their only worry is picking a good spot to see them! The nursery is probably crowded by now. They followed behind the two warriors while they both held onto the scrawny bird.]
"We want to come and see them too!" they said through the mouthful of feathers. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
