(meaning the only way of 'death' would be to throw them into the ocean). The user as well cannot make eye contact with another person simply because if they do. Then the person who has made eye contact is left in a state where their body is left frozen (not literally, but left unable to move) while their mind continues. While their mind continues, it's altered slightly. Their mind goes down this road where it believes their being killed. And example:
Someone tries to attack the user of the Sendo Sendo fruit, and makes eye contact with them. They would have no clue that they were caught in this trap as their bodies would be left standing still. While their mind thinks their still attacking. So say someone rushed the user wit a sword, and get caught, their mind makes them think their still rushing with that sword, and a short fight int heir mind breaks out before they seemingly die, once death has happened they go through a process of being somewhat pulled back into reality, while they see their corpse laying before them.

Tho rather then being raised as a guard, the owner of the ship found that he could not afford to keep any more children... So he sold Dante off as a slave... He was only four years old when he was first sold off to a pirate crew. They treated him like trash and made him clean up none stop for two years before the Captain died in a raid. One of the crew members took Dante with him to sell him on a nearby island to a fairly richer family.

One was named Sam, and the other was named Alex. He took a quick liking to Alex simply because she seemed so strong, like she would kick all kinds of butt when ever she wanted. Dante envied that... Everytime he went out to do chores or run errands, he'd always try to sneak off and meet with Alex. He got caught and scolded a few times of course, but the mistress of the house thought his 'love' was cute, and often cut him some slack. After maybe a year on the island, the boy made a promise with Alex, a pinky promise the boy to this day has never forgotten...
He promised that someday he'd become strong, and that when he did, he'd become the next Pirate King... Alex's promise in turn butted with his somewhat, she'd respond with "you have to be stronger then me to become my king...". And in response to this Dante said. "Then I'll make you my queen!" Before kissing her... He ran off with a blood shot red face right after making the promise... Unable to 'be a man' at that moment in nervousness... Tho the next day... He'd heard that Sam and Alex were to be executed along with their parents... Naturally the boy ran as fast as he could to their house, tripping and stumbling his way there... By the time he'd gotten there... The house had been abandoned... And cleared out... The boy sat on the beach for the next two days crying... Tho his tears were interrupted by a hard fruit which had rolled down the hill from Sam and Alex's home to hit him on the head... It was black and the boy assumed it was rotten... But he was so hungry at the time he'd eat anything...
He quickly devoured the fruit and returned 'home'... His head had been lowered the entire time as he arrived. The mistress of the house tried to comfort the boy, but when he looked up into her eyes with tears in his. The woman's widened... And she started to scream... Pushing Dante away... The woman froze with wide eye's like she'd just been killed as the master of the house came running down with a gun in hand... Dante was on his hands and knee's crying as the master assumed Dante was the cause before shooting the boy right through the head... The bullet pierced his left eye, and exited his skull, leaving a small crack like hole... Dante was announced dead later that day and the masters wife was hospitalized for three months... When they checked his chest... A new one sat- but did not beat... The boy simply continued to cry... They blind folded the boy simply because any who looked him in the eye seemed to claim they saw them selves die... Some even fell off the narrow cliffs as an ending result... Finally the man in charge of the hell hole Dante had been in claimed the boy to be a messenger from hell it's self, and was set free.
By set free they simply cast him off in a tiny ship... As the years went by. Dante went from pirate ship to pirate ship. Prison to Prison... Needles to say the once loving and happy-go-lucky boy from Shinsei Archipelago had easily died... His primarily way of fighting is by gripping and twisting nerv points along the body, then twisting them, instantly drawing blood, or killing an opponent. If he gets a hold of your chest... Then you know you're as good as dead... His strength is fairly high in most senses, and his grip is fairly hard to break once he gets a hold of you. Tho it is still possible with enough force... Inside this dome, Dante and his target are transported to what appears to be hell it's self... the battlefield they fight on is much larger then the dome's shape, and while in this world, what happens in this world, happens for real... Meaning if you fall into a pit of molten magma... You're as good as dead. This ability can only be used on one person at a time, it doesn't necessarily increase Dante's odds of victory, it simply forces opponents into a one on one fight.
