It recently finished for this year but did anyone in the guild go? Or have you been to one a previous year? They seemed rather fun from what I've watched online.
Also the update to Star Tours looks awesome.

I didn't go this year, but I made it to last year's with my roomate and her Star Wars-obsessed boyfriend. XD I wasn't impressed... then again, I was raised on Star TREK. I kid. It was a lot of fun, actually! The most memorable part of it for me was that they had Storm Troopers patrolling the rooftops of the main entrance, talking to each other and complaining about rebels and such. XD And we sat in on a 'panel' for the Star Wars animated series with some of the VAs, chased people for pictures... it wasn't the most fun I'd ever had at HS, but it was nerdy fun. X3
Also: YES to the Star Tours update. I was wondering if they'd ever get around to it; the new additions seem like they'll be fun and will DEFINITELY get more people on that ride!

Haha. I must admit it does look like quite a bit of fun... especially for anyone who's a fan of Star Wars. That would be me actually... Alice in Wonderland and Star Wars are my two favourite fandoms. lol. And in all honesty I'm a nerd. My aunt and cousin have gone to the US for around three weeks... they're not in Florida yet [they're visiting someone first] but they will be going there for most of the duration of the vacation... I think I forgot to mention to them Star Tours has been updated... if they go to MGM [wait... its not called MGM anymore is it? Was when I last went there!] I hope they go on the ride... I want a first-hand account on its new awesomeness. Hehe.

Tehe, yeah it definitely struck me as a real Star Wars fan dream. The guy I was with certainly seemed to enjoy it... it was all we could do to talk him out of buying one of those plastic swords and joining in on the fight. XD
Yeah, it's Hollywood Studios now... but I still love calling it MGM. T^T I dun like chaaaange! But yeah, I hope they get a chance to! I'm sure its super popular now, what with all the advertising Disney has been doing for the ride. <3

lol! Ah Lightsabers are cool but I prefer me blasters. Haha. Ah I still call it MGM in discussions... I haven't been to Florida in such a long time now. Makes me sad... I did love those vacations. Super popular means super lines!

The have a Star Wars Weekend at Disney!? D: Maybe Disney needs to bring one of their Parks up North so some of us who don't want to or can't travel from Coast to Coast can enjoy these things too!

I'm sure they had blasters around somewhere. I didn't look because, come on; you can't set them to stun. X3
Oh, I do too unless I consciously force myself not to. MGM is just more fun to say. >_>
Indeed. And it's the worst possible time to be in Florida, so those people in the lines are going to be slightly crazy by the time they get into the ride. sweatdrop

Yeah they only have it a Disney World though. I don't even share the same country with a Disney park... though in all truth there's one probably closer to me because England is right next to France. There's a rumor that Disneyland Paris will be getting the update to Star Tours for the 20th Anniversary of the park... and a new ride... some think it's going to be Splash Mountain but I dunno where they'd put it. lol. Ah I remember the lines in Florida... at least a lot of them are interestingly designed. lol. Should of used Fast Pass more.

Oooh, Disneyland Paris is looking forward to an update too? That's awesome! ^_^
And yeah... horrible, horrible lines. @_@; Yeah, those Fast Passes are genius... the only sad thing is they tend to run out of those too if you don't get there early enough in the day. But yeah, they put a lot of thought into the line waiting places... thanks goodness, haha.

Yeah but its all pretty much rumors for now. But I do know they're building one of those huge World of Disney Stores in the Disney Village at the moment. I'm very used to waiting in lines for rides... that's why I love one's that have been made interesting. Hehe.

Ooh... well, I hope they ring true, then. New Disney stuff anywhere is always exciting news.
Haha, I wish I could get used to it. But I'm one of those people who gets fidgety and cranky if I have to stand in one place for any extended period of time. I'm like a 5-year-old. sweatdrop

Yep indeed. ^_^ lol, yeah waiting in line can someties be a bore... if its very slow moving and there isn't much to look at. Usually Disney has awesome waiting areas though.

Yeah... and usually they all have either fans or air conditioners, so conditions don't get TOO horrible. X_X;
