I've decided to quit HoA since I'm never around anymore. It's nothing wrong with the shop or any problems with shopgoers, I've just been really dictracted and don't have the time or energy to try to wiggle my way back in. I'm rehoming my boys; I'd like my journal to remain just a bit longer so they can see what I've written on them so far. I figured 'til the end of February was enough time. He didn't do it in public though, so it saved the poor elder some embarassment. The elder, grinning ruefully, said the boy had a mind like a steel cage--nothing that got locked into it ever escaped. And thus the nameless colt became Steelmind.
Indeed, Steelmind rarely forgets anything he ever hears. He has a brilliant poker face, and it's hard to tell what's going on inside his skull. He doesn't smile much, or put himself forward in an obvious way. Behind the scenes is more his style. He's certainly not someone to tangle with though! He's got nerves of steel to match his mind, and isn't going to just back down cause something thinks he's bigger and badder. However, Steelmind doesn't think he can conquer all. Quite the opposite, he is mildly scornful those who don't know their own limitation and doesn't entirely trust them not to do something stupid.
Even though he doesn't speak up often in groups, once you befriend Steelmind he's quite willing to chat. He's a very loyal friend, and definetly someone you'd want at your back when going through a tough time. In love he's true to the bone. He's not going to coddle though, and hopes to find a partner who can stand on her own four hooves. Even if that means two strong personalities have to clash from time to time. After all, he's under no illusion that love means a perfect life with no arguing.

P-e-r-s-o-n-a-l--I-n-f-o name -• Stormheartnickname(s) -• Nonetemper -• Proudalignment -• Darkherd -• Nonepersonality -• Like his name suggests, there's a lot of turmoil going on in this Azrein's heart. Stormheart is a very proud creature and refuses to be belittled. He sees the breeding of Azrein with normal and unremarkable horses to be used as beasts of burden as the blackest sin. If a human so much as glanced at Stormheart as though considering him for grunt work he would not hesitate to put a hoof through their heart.
When it comes to his own kind, Stormheart is torn. He will only accept purebloods, and grudgingly will speak to halfbloods. Since halfbloods or anything more diluted is rare on Azeth, this hasn't come up yet. He bears no ill-will towards his kind, even those part of other alignments. What he sees are sneaking humans attempting to bewitch the Azrein under their control, when it is the Azrein who should rule. Though he dislikes the thought of doing it and will only do so as a last resort, Stormheart is willing to kill those Azrein he thinks have been far too corrupted by humans. He sees it as an act of kindness.
You would not think something belonging to the Dark alignment could have loyalty and honor, but Stormheart indeed has those traits. He also has a nasty temper, which does not bode well when mixed with his pride. He is stubborn to the point where even he knows he's wrong, but he won't change his mind. In love he seeks to be the protector, and needs someone who can calm his fury and lead him down sensible paths when he digs in his hooves.
