A small noise tingling beads resounded as the green mare made her way swiftly through the forest, she has little interest in stopping until her eyes caught sight of a batch of small red colored flowers. They were in her opnion rather a delightful sight to see in such a dreary looking wooded area and Chii had full interest in taking them with her and collecting as many as she could regardless of where she had to pull them from. Flattening her ears she nudge around picking a few up laying them across her back hoping they wouldn't tumble off.

On her way out of the woods, the mare looked around the woods cautiously. Her eyes reflected calm and cautiousness as she stayed low and kept to herself. The mare held the bundle of red flowers in her mouth delicately to prevent biting down on the stem and to prevent getting any of her saliva on the flowers. She was certain her caretaker would hate it and reject the flowers if the stems were broken and had slobber all over them. She had to make sure they were in the best condition before they arrived to her caretaker. Her ears twitched, indicating that she heard something off in the distance. Her eyes scanned the area and caught sight of a mare of a green coat picking the same flowers she currently held in her mouth. Trying to stay out of her sight, the mare disappeared into the bushes to avoid contact with the mare lest it was not a friendly one.

A noise sounded, as soft as if a rabbit was running away from its hunted prey in fear, Chi glared looking around to the source of a noise only to catch a glimpse of a unfamiliar blue figure, so she wasn't alone? Narrowing her brows the mare followed after her moving as softly as she could to keep the other unaware of her intentions, it was a pity that the mare was terrible at hardly making friends when she wanted her own way. Flicking her tail she waited to see if the creature had something maybe she wanted.

Nolens Volens kept on her perceived track, and continued to stay low and out of sight. She would only cross in the open when there was nothing else to hide behind or under. Her eyes flicked from side to side to make sure no danger or anything was in front of her. She was no aware that she had gained the attention of the very mare she was trying to avoid.

Chi was surprised she was having such a hard time following the blue mare, despite the fact that she didn't blend into the surroundings nearly as nicely as she did at times she was however quick and smaller than herself. She gritted her teeth and decided that another idea would be better than just merely following.
Pausing she called out, "hello...? Anyone there?" her voice like that of a lark, pleasing to hear.

Nolens Volens heard the voice call out and paused to see who it was. Her eyes glanced back to see the same mare she saw earlier. She thought she had passed her by, so why was she here? The mare furrowed her brows together and shook her head. She wouldn’t go to her. The mare spent enough time dallying around after coming across that stallion, Jii. She couldn’t waste anymore time, or else her caretaker might be even more upset with her. Turning away from the mare, she continued on her way.

Chi fumed, how dare she ignore her! It was beyond obvious that the mare had turned around and seen her and at least was aware of her presences but yet she continued on her way as if she could have cared less. Nothing irked her more, It was one thing to not hear but this, pft as if she was going to allow this to merely happen. "Hey! You heard me! Don't you dare turn your back and just walk away from me!" She yelled stomping after the blue mare.

Nolens Volens heard yelling from behind her. She glanced back for a brief moment before realizing the mare was yelling at her. Why would she be yelling at her? Was it because she didn’t want to help her? She had places to be, and things to do! She was sorry she couldn’t help, but someone was expecting her. The mare bowed her head in apology before turning around again before running off this time. No more cautious walking, she was just an full out run.

"What the..." the mare hissed as the flash of blue took off in a full gallop, what was she thinking? Oh this was highly annoying Chi thought as she picked up the pace the flowers she had collected fluttered off her back falling discardingly on the ground. The green mare had a harder time keeping up her wings were large and the branches reached out as if to tear the feathers away. "Hey I said wait up! Don't you dare ignore me!" She screamed after her.

The further and further the mare ran, the more her confusion grew as the other mare stared to follow after her. What’s wrong with her? What did she want with her? Her ears flicked back, continuing to run away from said mare. She was quickly tiring, but she had to push forward. This mare was odd, and possibly wanted to hurt her. For some reason, she reminded her a little bit of her caretaker, and shuddered at the thought of upsetting her caretaker if she was late. The mare managed to get a few yards further before tiring out and slowing down exponentially.

Oh! She was slowing down finally, Chi thought as she continued to push onwards she wouldn't give up not ti would have taken her at least a day of following after her to even convince her not to go after anything. A grin spread on the green mares face as she started to gain a few yards that she had lost. "Hey! Why are you running! I only wanted to talk, your so... mean you know that!"

The mare didn’t even turn to look at the green mare when she was slowing down. She was panting heavily, and decided to move her caretaker’s flower bouquet to be held by her tail. Continuing to move in the direction her caretaker was and out of this forest, she still did not pay much mind to the mare. She had to be somewhere. She knew that she couldn’t stop for her, and so why did she continue to persist? “I need to be somewhere.” She said softly, offering an explanation to the mare. She hoped that sufficed enough for her.

"Well.... that is still no reason to run!" Chi yelled back assuming that the blue mare had mentioned something about needing to be somewhere, that was still a poor excuse to just run. Not to mention Chi spotted the red flowers she moved from her mouth to her tail reminding her that the chase had cause her to lose the ones she wanted. Well certainly if they stopped for a moment Chi could just take her's right?

Nolens Volens shook her head. “I had somewhere to be, and something to deliver.” She said simply, and in a soft tone. “I didn’t have the time to stop and help you the first time.” The mare shifted her tail over her hip, and laid softly against her side. Her spikes that lined her lower back laid just above it. “I j-just don’t understand why you would seek me out if I didn’t help you first.”
