~Ryotaro Dojima's Residence, Inaba Residential District~

The home of the Police Chief Ryotaro Dojima and his nephew, the leader of the Inaba Investigation Team, was turned into a frozen prison by mysterious forces. Rooms, and everything inside of them, are now covered with a thick, unbreakable cover of ice, stopping every activity being taken place inside of them. Everything and everyone have been frozen, and the now ice prison is being guarded by a mysterious entity...

...Only a single person stands in front of the frozen waste that was once the warm, beloved home of the Dojima Family...

Kisa

Ice again... I wonder why this keeps happening. A young girl thought as she approached the building. She'd come looking for Soji, to just sit and talk with him for awhile, when the town had suddenly become a lot more comfortable. That wasn't the word that most people would have thought of, but most people didn't have the bodies of demons. Neither cold nor heat easily penetrated her skin (which probably explained why she didn't think sleeping outside was an issue), and she actually felt a lot better when there was heavy power hanging around in the area. Environments that were fit for demons instead of humans were the places her body thought she most belonged. All of that was in her mind, but only towards the back, as she stood in front of the building, white sword in one hand and the severed head of a giant in the other. "...I apologize for asking something even though we've just met, but I would appreciate it if you stood aside." Kisa said quietly as she set the head aside. "Somebody important to me lives here, and I do not wish to see this place harmed."

Taisen The Zombie

As the girl spoke, another set of footsteps could be heard. These footsteps were silent, even along the cracking, icy layer that now covered the ground they walked on. Taisen 'the Zombie' had been left to look over things in the inaba area ever since there failure at the subway. Laying low and blending into the shadows was part of Taisen's job description but, upon the area being frozen over, Taisen couldn't help but feel the need to take some form of action..after all..power like this should only belong to the Chairman..and it was hard to report back to said chairman if you were stuck in a frozen wasteland with giant ogres running around. Taisen followed behind the Kisa girl in order to reach the cause of the disturbance, While she came with the head of one of those great beasts that now roamed around the land, Taisen merely walked up in a slow, seemingly lifeless walk until he reached about 3 yards behind Kisa's right shoulder. Unlike the demi-fiend, Taisen did feel the cold, it wasn't the worst of feelings due to his highly regenerative skin but it was very annoying. Taisen looked from under his hood at the figure to whom the demi-fiend spoke. Unlike Kisa, who Taisen has at least had some information on, this figure was someone he had never seen or been told about before..and she seemed rather dark. A demon perhaps? Taisen wouldn't really know and he wouldn't really care to know. All he saw was an obstacle to be destroyed and that's how he will see it until the end. The zombie like scientific abomination rolled around a miniature metal spike ball in his mouth, making nice deep, painful cuts to the roof of his mouth, the sides and his tongue before swallowing it and allowing his body to heal naturally, bringing his power back up to 100%. It was a troublesome element to eat but an extremely dangerous one to wield.

"..." Taisen didn't speak, the was no need, it was clear that he was on the demi-fiend's side for now and so he would allow her to speak for him. The silent zombie of the uroborus merely waited.

Hel - Mistress of the Underworld

There was a mound of ice that might have been a car once, and upon the 'hood' sat a figure clad in silver armor, studs and spikes jutting out here and there, particularly at her joints, but what stood out most about her wasn't the armor or the dark, chocolate skin, or even her sharp orchid eye as it peered down the street at the trickle of potential foes moving her way. It was her face, the white and black mask that covered one side of it, and the other side most of all...for it was that of a skull, empty eye and toothy, bone grin staring down any who ventured close enough to see it. As Kisa moved within that range, those teeth opening as a high-pitched, airy laugh escaped her, a mocking chorus for the girl who seemed so serious and intent on reaching what frozen treasure lay beyond her back. She would not be reaching that house she intended to visit any time soon if she had her way...and there were none that she was aware of who could deny her. "Hee Hee Hee! Oh, I apologize for asking, but I'd appreciate it if you stood aside," the voice seemed to laugh, mocking the demonic hybrid for her ridiculous and unnecessary politeness in her approach to the boy's home. There was a fight before her plain as day, and here she wanted to just talk her way through as though the Mistress of the Underworld was not staring her in the eye. "Somebody important to me lives here, and I do not wish to see him harmed! Oops! I mean 'this place', silly me."

At her hip rested a wakizashi, but she did not seem to be interested in drawing it just yet. Instead, her mocking smirk began to grow grim as she saw the zombie-like figure over the shoulder of the Demi-Fiend. Tugging away a glove from her hand on the side of her face which was bare, she revealed the bones of a skeletal hand...fingers which closed and opened as though testing their ability to move. "And another comes, are you sure he is not your precious one? Monsters deserve one another! Enjoy a little taste of heaven before you're both taken by Hel!" her cheerful, playing demeanor seemed to shift into something angry, sour, but as her bone-hand flexed over the hilt of her short sword she seemed still to be measuring them. Waiting for a response so that she could know which move should be made next....or maybe she was just waiting for the most opportune window to strike.

If I found you alone in the forrest...I would let you wither and die.
A breathy sigh floated off the lips of a young woman as she came into view. Ice? Everywhere? This certainly hadn't been what the sixth spear of the glorious Mori clan had expected upon returning to her hometown of Inaba. The crimson butterfly had returned to the small town, all dressed up as though she were going to a formal event, to mess with a young man who extended the hand of compassion to a young girl in need. Those times were gone now. Gone forever, faded into sepia toned memories in half remembered dreams. Mori just had this way of getting into her head and she had no intention of leaving his side. She was an arm of the mori and nothing could shake that conviction. Checking the area she saw a strange young woman standing before what looked like a demon of some kind or another. No... not a demon. Yuki bit her bottom lip softly, that...thing... seemed so powerful and their was no doubt she was more than a simple demon. Then the strange girl spoke and Yuki stayed quiet. 'Somebody important to me' Yuki's eyebrow raised slightly. Did Soji have yet ANOTHER member of his harem. How sad. Then another appeared. This one was more Yuki's style, he stayed quiet.

Then the strange guardian decided to speak. How... boring. Yuki's eyes were cold and appraising, she was skeletal and demonic but not all too frightening yet. All the same Yuki wouldn't let this being stand in her way; she would fight with every fiber of her body to show the great power of the mori. And after, when the bodies of the Mori's enemies littered the ground she would stand over Soji with a defiant smirk as her master snuffed him out. After a moment deep in thought about that destined moment the red head's lips curled into a wide smile. "Draw your weapon already." The crimson butterfly flipped open her COMP and pressed the summon button. A giant black demon appeared behind her. "Sadness." She calmly stated the creature's name and gave it a quick nod so it knew to begin. The giant beast opened its giant pitch black maw and suddenly a giant blue ball of energy erupted forth from its mouth. The morning star crashing downwards from the one story tall creature's mouth.

Silently the craziest, and arguably the darkest warrior of the bunch, stood to the side. While the demon spoke the toad killer was busy off in his own little head twitching slightly every couple of seconds and periodically swinging his armored head off to the side as though someone had called his name. When the giant creature appeared behind the red haired toad the black haired psycho's head snapped back to reality. He stared at the people assembled for a moment before going back to his own little world. This time however the warrior's tentacles were thrashing ever so slightly against the ground beating like a metronome on the ice counting out the time for the attack. The roar of the creature is what brought him back the second time. As the blue ball fo energy shot forth the black messenger sprung forward like an arrow from an archer's bow. His tentacles were at the ready and as the ball of energy crashed down, the blinding light filling the area. The warrior thrashed violently each of his four tentacles springing outwards one swiping for the guardian's chest, one for the legs, and the other two going for a high low mix up attacking the arms and the shins. The crazed warrior was just that, crazed. He would give up skin and bone to fight for the return of his master hetero. As the warrior entered the giant blue ball of energy his battle cry could be heard. "TOADS!!!!"

Kisa

A monster, this one said. Well, that was right, wasn't it? A body that was almost impossibly durable, strength beyond any normal human's capability, powerful magic... yeah. Whatever you wanted to call her, be it monster, oni, demon, or devil, any of those was probably more accurate than being known as human. Life usually wasn't fair, and some things you simply had to accept. It certainly didn't seem like she was getting any more human as time went by. Rather the opposite, actually. The girl exhaled slightly, then held a hand out in front of her and drew a rapid series of marks, connecting them inside of two circles and adding a few lines until she had what she wanted, and the Tetraja spell flashed into existence around her... as well as this mysterious newcomer (and the others), who just stank of some kind of magical power, but they didn't seem hostile towards her for now. Which was kind of an odd feeling, actually, but for now, she had shielded those opposing Hel against any nasty effects (like, say, being exorcized through Hama or pulled into the darkness by Mudo) that this Goddess of the Underworld might decide to dish out. Kisa didn't know if this Goddess actually had that kind of power, but it wouldn't surprise her if Hel actually did (Hel-lo, Ruler of the Underworld, after all), and it was best to prepare for that kind of thing ahead of time. Better safe than dead, right? "...I had thought that perhaps one of your prestige would be more... regal. I was more impressed by your eldest brother." She took a stance for combat, however, and beckoned the strange one forward. If he wanted to make himself useful, now was a good time. She really wasn't sure at all about him, but he was probably some kind of attack-oriented fighter. Looking at him, she just didn't think it likely he was a healing specialist or something like that, and mage-y types tended to be a little flashier. Of course, perhaps she was entirely wrong, too. She'd been surprised fairly often by what people did. On the other hand, if she knew what he could do, she could probably adapt herself to cover any weaknesses he might have and significantly improve their odds of success. This fight probably wasn't going to be very easy, but for Soji's sake, she couldn't just run away, either. Her wounds would heal in time; they always did. Until then... "My name is Kisa, Your Majesty, and my name is all you will be taking back with you."

Hel - Mistress of the Underworld

Oh, how dull people were. Couldn't they take a joke? Or maybe she was just a bit too used to ruling in a place where anybody who didn't laugh upon her command could be instantly ordered into an endless torture for some unpleasant amount of time. Ruling over the Underworld had its privileges, she knew and they knew, but what they didn't know were the sorts of abilities which came with her great station. Nor did they seem to understand her very origin. Listening as the Demi-Fiend offered a pathetic attempt at smack talk with reference to her family, the human-looking demon could only laugh louder, more raucous, at how utterly stupid she sounded talking about what she knew of so little. It was enough to nearly bring a tear to her eye. "My eldest brother? I should say my eldest brother is far less cordial than I am, and twice as fierce...though not quite so beautiful," the demon laughed as she remembered her brother and though of where he was now, knowing without thinking too hard (from what she had learned) exactly what the poor, silly girl in front of her was talking about when she referenced him, "you must be referring to that cur of a Dark Realm imitation acting as that ghastly child's house pet. Rest assured, nothing so pathetic could ever call itself a brother of mine." Laughing, Hel walked forward and if she noticed the singular barrier she erected around herself to avoid an instant-death spell it was not shown in her expression. Her amusement only grew when the little fiend-girl spouted off her name and some brave words, probably more to reassure herself than to strike any real intimidation into the heart of her superior foe. For her part, she only succeeded in placing a rather condescending look on the human half of the demon's face as she appraised the proud little thing in front of her.

"Whoever asked for your name? Silly little girls with a crush and no idea what they're saying should be more quiet in the presence of their superiors, lest they sound even more ignorant than they already do," the she-devil laughed, and it was in the midst of a bout of laughter that she was interrupted by the blue energy of the red-haired girl that crashed down around her, pounding into the pavement and swirling about...providing an ample cover for the wild attacks of the octopus-limbed man who sought to tear her apart for whatever god this 'Hetero' must have been to him. But when the blue energy waned and the visibility of the two-faced devil returned, there was nary a scratch on her...the energy gone, and the last of the tentacles which had meant to strike her was clutched within her bony fingers...detached from the body that it had been clinging to moments prior. And in an instant the limb was reduced to dust within her palm, a black taint at the edge of Yoshizo's limb where it had been snapped effortlessly away from his body.

"But perhaps, since you're all in such a silly rush to kill me, I should introduce myself," she laughed as she blew away the ash in a faux-kiss towards the Demi-Fiend, a sinister promise behind the gesture that was hardly necessary after what had just taken place "I am Goddess of the Underworld, you can call me Hel. And mine is the face you shall see at the end of all your days. Lucky you."

Haoul Yamakaji, Fire Brand of the former Embryon

Haoul smirked as he wandered down the area, having followed instructions from Mizore to find this place. He wasn't sure why the little Ice princess had been frozen in place, and himself not, but it didn't matter.

As he approached the area, noticing quite the medley crowd of people, he chuckled to himself.
"A fight huh?" he called to himself, gripping his clawed weapon as he shifted into his Atma form, feeling his heat around him. "Let's get this party started then."

He held out his claws in a small pointing measure, casting an Agilao towards the strange girl, Hel. Goddess of the underworld.

What a humourously coincidental title.

If I found you alone in the forrest...I would let you wither and die.
Yuki watched impassively as the blue light cleared. not a single scratch... Yuki's cold eyes widened slightly. Who was this weird half skeleton woman anyway? Obviously she was even more powerful than anticipated seeing as she came out of a giant almighty energy ball without a scratch on her. Goddess of the underworld? The crimson butterfly gripped her zhua a little tighter. A battle against a goddess of the underworld... this was going to end badly. Yuki spun her zhua around idly as she decided what to do. "Sadness." She stated again barely giving the giant creature behind her a second look. Before spinning her weapon again and stepping back into a defensive stance once more. The giant creature behind her stomped its foot and let out a loud roar as it readied an attack. A bright glow came from the story tall creature's mouth as the flames built up behind the monster's teeth. Suddenly it let out a huge wash of flame as the beast roared this time flame and heat spewing out over the goddess. The Meltdown spell exploded outwards covering the ice which, unbelievably didn't melt under the skin meltingly hot flames.

When the tentacle disintegrated a loud call shot up into the sky. The black haired creature let out the most primal screech as though he were trying to scare away a much larger creature. The sound wasn't caused by the huge rush of pain filling his body as his sixth arm was turned to dust, but it was a call of anger and pure rage. If anyone knew of the creature they knew he was a wrathful monster who didn't fear death and often put his life on the line to maim and dismember those around him even if he was laid on the precipice of death. The other three tentacles thrashed hard against the sides of his armored body as the scream died down. The scream broke just as the sound of explosive flames came crashing down. The flames licked around the black warrior's body as he backflipped away from the flames. The eight seven legged monster landed in a crouched battle stance near the ground like a puma about to strike. "SHUT UP TOAD WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR NAME!!!" The monster screamed over the sound of the flames, the words coming uncomfortably late after the monster's declaration. Suddenly a woman appeared above the messenger's head. There she stood with four arms, Kali the goddess of destruction held up her swords and brought them down with primal force behind the strike made for the goddess of death.

Taisen The Zombie

Taisen looked around aimlessly at the people who congregated at the current location. /he couldn't help but feel a little better because now all these people were here, he could gather more information for the chairman and wouldn't have to to put as much work into defeating this creature. The member of the uroborus watched as a tentacled beast thrashed around wildly and was rather easily stopped the first time With little more than a hand. Maybe that skeletal hand had some form of decaying ability? Taisen would test that out right now as he quickly dashed forward, unsheathing both of his key blades from inside his dark robe and quickly jumping up before slamming down with both blades, not caring about the other attacks that rained in from the others. Each blade was spaced apart well enough that blocking each with one hand would be extremely difficult yet Taisen came down with his foot at the ready to guard the exposed area between both blades just in case this woman had another trick up her sleeve..which she probably did.

Eiji "Gin" Mishima

"This is the mistress of death, hm?"
The thought didn't escape Gin that his own lady and this creature, or Demon, whatever you wanted to call the being that had emerged from the nether-realm, were very nearly one in the same in some ways. He'd gotten the lecture on Personas from Akihiko, was beginning to see what it meant to be an Evoker user like SEES-2 and the others, but to be honest he'd seen more of these Demons then he had shadows up until now, and that was beginning to give him an impression of just what life might have really been like. After all, he'd always spent his time practicing and apparently "living large" as he and his band grew better, but now he was seeing the opposite swing of things, and being the one saving people without praise had it's own charms. "Well, they don't call me the voice of Nyx for nothing. Maybe if I'm lucky she'll just ask me to sing?" A misplaced smile for the circumstances graced his lips, and a hand raised to scratch his unkempt hair before he grabbed the second of his paired weapons and spun it again, hoping things didn't have to be this way. Still, the ice wasn't melting, and if it didn't go away soon it could mean serious harm for the others, which was why he was here...although, if he wasn't out this late at night he'd have been at the Dorm, and not in this problem in the first place. Then again, he could have been under the ice on his own, so counting his blessings was probably the best course of action for not.

~* Possessed Vassal of the Black Maria *~

User Image

Mari had been out for a walk, to do a bit of surveillance/reconnaissances. She was doing it not only for the Assembly of Nihilo, but more so for herself and the gut feeling she had inside of her that something ominous was just overhead. And it seemed that her intuition was more than correct, in fact it was a dead-on bulls-eye. How often did such strange sensations blanket the town of Inaba? This hovering presence that hung about the town... it was not fit for normal humans, in fact it could easily be a breeding ground for demons... It was more than interesting, and it caused the demon within Mari to stir with warmth and burst with energy. Though it was surely a duel edged blade... This lingering power, it had an evil origin.. And it seemed that Mari had stumbled upon one of those points.

As she walked she came to a home that was completely preserved in the ice. Out of all the other buildings it seemed to have the most layering of the frozen energy. It must have been a point of origin. Could there be a seal there? Or an entity that was emitting the strong, chilly aura? It seemed that Mari's speculations were correct, because there was a group gathered up in front of the building. It seemed to be many verses one... And that one seemed to be the strongest of the lot. If that was so then she was the one, the point of origin. The group seemed more then ready for a fight, which did soon break out. Mari swayed to the side gently, and decided to take a back seat to the action, at least for now until it heated up. Besides... To many chiefs in the kitchen is only a recipe for disaster... This should be fun if nothing else... As the fight broke out and everyone yelled out about names, and their lack of caring, Mari watched from a good distance, not to far away, just enough to not be hit close up. She hated it when people spoke during a fight, it just killed the entire experience. But to each their own right? But which side to join in on? The many or the one? With the current situation having been evaluated Mari would let her actions speak in place of her words...

She watched as the fight began to heat up, spells that hit the ice seemed to do nothing... So the ice was definitely not natural... So it would be wise to try and avoid the ice entirely... She would take that mental note to heart for this fight. She let her weapon sit on her hip for now, letting it be there for when she needed it, for some reason she always seemed to start a battle off by casting a spell...

She rose her hand to her lips and softly kissed her finger tips. She blew a kiss towards the one, a woman who declared herself as Hel, Goddess of the Underworld. If she finished her off would Mari, the Black Maria become the new Goddess of the Underworld? What a warming notion she laughed. As she blew the kiss to the half skeleton faced woman her spell was cast with immediate results. A powerful Maziodyne was cast, and instead of spreading out to hit many it was only to hit one. the large surge of electrical bolts suddenly appeared above Hel and came crashing down as quickly as it appeared, -instantly-. Regardless of how the spell would work would be insignificant, because either way it would be an important note to save mentally. If this battle was a cornerstone for something greater to happen... They had all better be wise about it.
