When in battle, it is now possible for you to occasionally use an attack which fuses an elemental ability with another elemental ability to produce and attack of an entirely different type altogether. When you fuse these two elemental attacks together, this is called a [Fusion Raid]. Fusion Raids are not found on any Skill List, and can only be learned through discovery in battle and testing elements with one another. If conditions are met, you will be able to harness the power of the Fusion Raid and observe a new power, different in nature and stronger than any normal attack of the same level!
This is the gift which Lewis Keys endowed upon the people of Inaba during his attempt to raid the Confinement Chamber of the Yatagarasu in the Capital.

Rules of Using and Recording Fusion Raids are as follows:
1. Fusion Raids are the combination of two elemental attacks to create a new, multi-elemental attack!
2. Only two elements and/or two spells may be joined together for any one Fusion Raid.
3. To create a Fusion Raid, two elemental spells must be cast at the same time, with one specifically cast to 'join' or 'support' the other! If you do not specify that you the two spells are mingling, you may not discover a Fusion Raid!
4. Fusion Raids do not always occur, and require conditions be met. One significant condition is that you cannot be a part of more than [2] Fusion Raid combinations in a single battle. These are trump cards more than they are regular-use spells.
5. Fusion Raids are usually performed in conjunction with an ally. Only under special circumstances, and if you have the required skills, will you ever be able to perform a Fusion Raid alone!
6. You may mix 'All' spells with 'Single Target' spells, All with All, or Single with Single. Each may have a different Fusion Raid outcome.
7. Every character will now choose both a Primary and Secondary Element with which they have a natural affinity. These will determine which elements you are capable of including in your own Fusion Raid!
8. When performing Fusion Raids, you must cast YOUR Primary Element. Whether you are [Giving] your element to someone else's Raid or [Receiving] someone else's fusion for your own Raid, you can only cast your Primary Element in a Fusion Raid.
9. When performing a Fusion Raid, one person must be [Receiving] their own Secondary Element from someone else.
[Example Scenario: Rednal's Primary Element is Darkness and his Secondary Element is Light, and Zeo's Primary Element is Light and his Secondary Element is Fire. Possible Fusion Raid Scenarios Are...
-Rednal can perform a Fusion Raid if Zeo [Gives] him a Light spell.
-Zeo cannot perform a Fusion Raid if Rednal [Gives] Light, because Light cannot fuse with Light.
10. Each Fusion Raid has an element/spell which represents its Primary Element and one which represents its Secondary Element. Which is which can affect the outcome of the Fusion Raid.
11. Fusion Raids are only possible if both parties are willing and compatible. You cannot force a Fusion Raid on an unwilling ally.
12. If you are the FIRST to use a specific Fusion Raid combination [Ex: Agi as the Primary Spell + Garula as the Secondary Spell], you may fill out a form to [Record] your NEW [Fusion Raid] in this forum. Your spell may be recorded into the Catalog if accepted, and thus will become the standard Fusion Raid spell for that particular combination of spells.
[We reserve the right to reject a suggestion if we do not approve of the suggested spell! Spell designs should be within reason. Do not include a description of power levels in your Fusion Raid Record Format. Also, we do not encourage the spamming of attempted fusions amongst your own characters and close-allies in order to fill up the chart in an unfair or premature fashion!]
13. Please fill out a Fusion Raid Recording Form (below) in order to officially have your Fusion Raid recognized and cleared for repeated use in the RP!
14. You may use a Fusion Raid for the first time in a post before you Record it, but if it is not approved, you may never use that Fusion Raid again! You SHOULD check with a moderator or Arena directly when you use an unapproved Fusion Raid to ensure the limitation guidelines are at least in-play, and your move is valid!
**However, it is generally ideal if you Officially Record the Fusion Raid for use just before you cast it in the RP for the first time, for optimal surprise and legality!
15. Whether [Giving] an Element or [Receiving] an Element, you will never be able to perform a Fusion Raid which includes your [Weakness].
16. Though rare, there is an item which you may receive at times called a [Gold Card]. This card is a gold-plated Joker card with the image of Loki the Trickster set upon it (any other appearance and it is most certainly counterfeit). If you receive one, you MAY perform a Fusion Raid without the aid of a partner (if you have two compatible skills) [One-Time] before the Card is rendered inert (though still valuable for sale...it IS Gold). This is a one-use item.
