It will be just like the Wii but with the 3ds. Not graphics wise, not game wise.
It's going to start out with a hellofalotta sales. People are going to think all the good games are going to be out soon. But nope, the starting lineup will suck. By the time anything good comes out, everyone will be burned out on it. Look at the Kinect. Record sales! Who actually uses it...

No.
By the looks of it, the controller's gonna be awkward to use-- at least for those of us with smaller hands.

Very good points... & i think the controller's gonna be awkward to use for everyone... also, it seems way too confusing with a remote, nunchuck, stylus and all of these other things to control it. the only thing that seems "good" about it is the games being released in the future but, i think developers need to look for different consoles.

I'm all for it. As long as, they release some magical normal controller that I can use. And if its not too expensive. Otherwise, its back to the GameCube for me.

I might have to revert to the ancient technology of Nintendo, that being the NES and SNES.

I think the name is incredibly stupid (I thought Vita was bad, and then this happened) and it looks like they outsourced the design to Apple. With that said, Reggie claims the chief reason the 3rd party games went to 360 and PS3 but not Wii was because of the disparity in power between the machines, so if the Wii U can bridge that gap, which Nintendo states adamantly that it can, it should see a lot more 3rd party support and have more of the "hardcore" people games people have been lamenting the lack of on the Wii. At the same time, though, I hope the Wii U is not only "as powerful as" the 360 and PS3, but more powerful, because if it's only "as powerful" as the others, then when Sony and Microsoft come out with their new system in probably 2 ish years, Nintendo will be left behind again and will have to hope their headstart is good enough.

I thought it was retarded at first, like everyone else.
But then I saw someone explain how it worked, and it actually seems pretty cool. You can even continue playing the game while something else is being broadcasted on TV.

They did introduce the classic controller and made some games compatible with the GC controller for Wii so perhaps they'll also have a more practical or traditional controller for Wii U. Remember, its still over a year away and everything is still under development. They'll be releasing newer bits of information as we get closer to the release date to build up hype. They wouldn't give it all away now.

In my opinion, Nintendo hasn't come out with anything good since the DSi. The 3DS just gives me a headache, and The Wii has like 5 good games out. The Wii U just looks like another way to make big bucks without doing anything. People will buy it, then no one will use it in about 3 months after it comes out. After Nintendo reveavled it at E3, their stocks have gone down 5%.

After Nintendo reveavled it at E3, their stocks have gone down 5%. That reminds me of what happened with the Nintendo stock upon the night of the price release. I remember it will. As it got closer to the price release of the 3DS, the stock went up and up and up, and then, the insane price was released. Huge stock drop.
