wahmbulance SPOILERS wahmbulance
So, what did we think of THIS episode? Quite a lot was covered in one 45-minute episode, but I really liked it! There were a couple minutes where my jaw literally dropped. I loved how Moffat showed how twisted the Doctor had become, with people considering him a warrior. And the whole thing with baby Melody! I wonder what's gonna happen next?
I am a bit disappointed with the River Song reveal, because I'd been suspecting it for a while, but I still thought it was well done. Although I do find the romance between her and the Doctor to be a little bit... ew.
And "Let's Kill Hitler?" Nice name for an episode. Very controversial, but I love it.

That was so amazing and epic! Was so action-packed and crazy that it almost seemed like a feature film rather than a TV episode.
Despite having already come to the conclusion, I loved the way it was revealed in the end. "The only water in the forest is the River", that was so lovely, I teared up.
I just LOVED the Doctor's reaction to River, and the funny, excited noises he made. Really can't wait for the rest of the season. They left you hanging just enough to get you excited, but not drive you mad over the summer. So, not truly a cliffhanger, but at least a little tumble.

This whole episode I was like OMGROLFMAOWTFBBQSAUCEXPLOSION. Rory really knows how to work that roman outfit. His "would you like me to repeat the question" left me going "Oh damn." The Doctor talking about people sex was amusing. but not quite as amusing as him speaking baby. I think everybody gagged a bit at the sontaran talking about lactation. And I felt the River reveal was perfectly executed. I'm sure I'll find more things to rave about this episode later but as for now, I'm just going to go watch it again.

Hmmm, I just watched the episode again and I noticed something weird. Maybe it's just me, but don't the corridors on Demon's Run look kind of like the TARDIS corridors? Maybe it was just a budget thing, but it seems like most of the budget went to this episode...

I'm so sorry people, but I liked it, and it annoyed me way too much. It was nothing like the Doctor, who River is was too "ugh mad " for lack of a better word, and Melody being stolen was extremely predictable, it was as Dorium said "Too easy". On the plus, I liked the return of the spitfires and the Doctor imitating one, the return of our space pirates, and I liked River's talk about "Demons run when a good man goes to war."(I've already memorised it).
Over all it was a good episode, but it bugs me too much, it was like it was a different show, and the same show at the same time, I'm sorry, but I have to give it a N/A score because I can't rate something like this, it has no other episodes to compare with it. When people look back to the Doctor Who series, they will see a massive change, when it became darker and, in my opinion, another cliche theme for a TV show(Tell me a sci-fi show that is bright and fun like when Rose and Donna was around(I'll admit Martha was a little more grim than the others, but not by much.)) I'm sorry, but I think that it is just another episode. Put it into the pile of "The Other" episodes (For example, 42, which was a good episode, but no one really remembers it and I don't know anyone who, when introducing the series to another, will say "watch 42".) But that is it, I dunno, I just think that it was trying to be the best ending ever, and it isn't doing that, it is just looking like it is trying too hard, and becoming predictable.(Mind you, I have no clue what will happen in the next episode, but within a single episode, it is).
Anyway, that is a rant for now, and I just think it isn't a good episode, but still, not a bad one, just an inbetween episode.

It's probably a budget thing, but bear in mind that they still haven't addressed the fact that the Silence in Day of the Moon were in the same Tardis thing that we saw in The Lodger. That deserves some explanation.

That deserves some explanation. The Doctor did remark on the Silence's TARDIS. He called it "very Aickman Road," so I'm assuming they will come back to it. They've left a lot of unanswered questions for us to ponder over the summer. Besides, Craig and Sophie from The Lodger will be coming back in episode 12. <-- Possible Spoiler wahmbulance

I rather liked this episode until it got to predicable. I kind of been waiting for River Song's obvious answer to pass since the last clue came.

I loved the episode, but the only concern was that it is implied that the Doctor and River are married, so that makes Amy the Doctor's Mother in law?

I'm posting this theory now, in case it comes true; I want to make sure I said it beforehand. I didn't do that with my theory on who River was, and now I'm really pissed. stare
Anyway, I think that River is going to kill Rory. She kills the "greatest man she ever knew," and what little girl doesn't look up to her father? Plus, the writers seem to be iterating how awesome Rory is, with all this "Last Centurion" stuff. (He seriously was such a badass with the Cybermen, which was awesome!) The beginning of this episode got me, when Amy was like, "this man is your father." They seem to be making Rory comparable to the Doctor, so I wouldn't be surprised if River somehow kills her father, even unintentionally. Besides, did you see the look she gave him in Stormcage? That's not just seeing Daddy without him knowing who you are. That's a bit more like seeing Daddy after you killed him, 'cause your relative timelines are ******** up.

Good theory, but River kills a good man, she kills the doctor. She IS the girl in the space suit, and she shot the doctor. After all she is part time lord. It all adds up to River being the astronought and the girl who regenerates at the end of the america episode.

I think River was the little girl in the suit, but remember that she forced her way out of it in 1969. So we don't actually know who was in the suit when the Doctor was shot in 2011.
