A world, outside the fabric of the universe, the only way in is through one of the rips in time and space, somethign that had never happened before. This world has had so many things sucked into it that it's hard to distinguish where anythign came from. The world is made up of peices of several different worlds, it's armosphere and gravity is earth Norm, but there is no life.

Nothing survives the trip through, or so it seems.

"I- I don't know." Fox told her. "I think we're utside of the universe." his eyes were wide as he stepped out, the floor crunched under him, like frozen grass right after an ice age. It was warm though so he doubted that it was frozen grass... not to mention the lack of grass.
"Don't ask me how it's possible to be outside the universe, because you wouldn't understand..." Not that I do he thought to himself, looking around.
The world seemed like a junk yard, at least the part they were in. he pulled his sonic flash light from his holster and shone it around, every direction and then brought it up to his eyes. Nothing. "No life signs." He muttered, frowning.
There was a strange hissing sound, Fox raised the flash light again and tried to find where it was coming from. A moment later a bell rang out and Fox turned to the Tardis. "No! No no no-no-no!" he yelled running back towards it. he barrelled past josie and into the room. the lights had gone out and, ending with the Console all the electronics seemed to be failing. "Dammit." he growled. It was very rare that he swore, but he felt this time appropriate.
He turned around and wandered back out. "The Tardis has lost power. It takes it's power from the universe, technically it should never run out of power... but we're in the wrong universe... our Tardis can't draw power from here... it's like putting oranges into a petrol engine." he sighed, dropping down into a crouch to look at the floor. "Not all hope is lost though, this earth, this metal, it all came from our universe, don't ask me how, I couldn't tell you, but it did, probably through a rift like ours... Still not sure how we got dragged through... thats the most advanced thip in the universe, there shouldn't be anything that can pull us in... unless..." Fox jumped up and went inside. he re-appeared a few minutes later, carrying an electrical box. "I forgot to plug the shield fuse back in." he sighed, throwing it as hard as he could. "that wasn't it, don't worry, that was the fuse box that blew up. completely useless. The Tardis will build another... I hope. Anyway, point is, if we can find some sort of power supply, or somethign I can make into a power supply I'll be able to hook it up to the Tardis and fly us out of here, maybe seal up that hole while I'm at it."

Josey eyed the world, confused. "What are we going to do without the Tardis?" She was still rubbing the bump on her head, it was finally easing off on the throbbing.

Fox ran back inside and Josey stood next to the Tardis doors, out of the way in case he barreled out while he ranted. She frowned with his comment about her being unable to understand. For all his talk about her being brilliant, he certainly liked insulting her a lot.

"You know, I like traveling with you, so far anyway, but I'm kind of glad you decided to take me back to England if all you're going to do is insult me every time things get tense." Crossing her arms, Josey rolled her eyes. "You either like me, or you don't, but you need to pick a setting, pal, 'cause friends don't treat each other like this."

She sighed and leaned against the Tardis. "Krill said something about the Last Child of Gallifrey tearing a rip in space and time, that's you, can't you fix it too?"
PostPosted: Fri Jun 03, 2011 4:56 pm

"I decided?" Fox repeated, confused. He dissappeared back into the Tardis and re-appeared a minute later holding what looked like an iphone with a miniature metal detector attached to the back. He handed it to Josey. "Energy detector, goes bing when theres buzz. And you're the one who wanted to be dropped off in the country. All I did was bare my life to you and you run away." he accused. "And insult you isn't all i do when things go bad, I also fix them." he pointed out.

Fox stepped away from the tardis and drew his flash light, shining it across the ground, he registered that it was mostly from a planet in the Qualstar constellation called... oh what was it called, Benq? Fox thought it was Benq. "Have much experience of friends do you now, Josie?" he asked, sarcastically, still working away at the planet while he spoke. "Because I'm almost 800 years old and I've had all sorts of friends. I do like you Josey, but I don't have to pick a setting, friends treat each other like this all the time, it's because they're friends that they forgive it."

He stepped up to a large pile of metal junk and began to climb it. She asked about the things Lord Krill had mentioned. "I honestly don't know, Jose." He told her, stopping at the top of the metal to look back at her. "I haven't done anything that'd cause this... maybe in the future I will, but... me, the version of me you see right now... I didn't do it. I swear to you, if I knew how I could fix this I would." Fox turned away from Josey and looked out over the planet, they had landed at the top of a pile and from his vantage point he could see for miles. He could see the junk, the dead for miles... the sky rippled black and red. pieces and things fell from the red elecrical sparks, falling to the planet.

This universal disturbance had ripped through space and time... a part of him wanted to search the rock for a piece of Gallifrey, just a tiny piece t take back to the universe, evidence of its existence... but another part of him bauked at the idea. It was morbid. Gallifrey had its time. It was dead, as were the people.
He jumped down over the other side of the metal rubbish, flash light out, searching for any signs of energy.

Josey froze as he handed her the device to search for energy. "You...I..." She stuttered and kept turning to face him as he shuffled around busily. "You mean you weren't going to take me back?" She asked in surprise.

Josey started scanning things, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Se had been so certain he was sending her back. "What was that bit about a big life ahead of me, then-" He spoke up again, responding to her idea of what friends were and Josey clamped her mouth shut as a pang went through her heart.

Well, he'd aimed that one well. She was quiet for a long time, scanning things slowly while he talked and shuffled around. He was right. She didn't have any experience with friends. She'd never had one before, the best she knew, and all she knew was from books she had read and movies she had seen.

Taking a deep breath, Josey pushed her hurt feelings aside, or tried to, and went back to scanning, the thing in her hand starting to buzz a little, like a phone on vibrate, so she just kept moving in the direction the vibrating would get stronger in.

"I'm sure you'll think of something. You have every other time." Her voice carried across the junk lot to where Fox was working. Walking a little further away, Josey came to a rather large pile of garbage...not even sure what it all was, and turned to go around it when the device in her hand suddenly made a loud "BING".

"Uh, Fox? I might have something..." She called excitedly.

"Can you imagine any life bigger than travelling in time and between galaxies?" He asked, off handedly. His foot step lended on something new, the ground changed. He flashed his sonic across the two pieces of ground. It was a seamless, the colours blurred together, the grass naturally appeared. To the naked eye it could have been the same, but it wasn't. The Flashlight picked it up instantly.

Fox crouched down to get a better look. Fox moved to pull his glasses out of his pocket, but he'd left the jacket inside. He ran the light across the seam and then looked at the display. He shone it at each land mass individually. "Klom and... terra firma."
Fox looked up from the ground, inquisitively. "They're on the opposite sides of the universe... Hell theres about fifty million years between Kloms destruction and Tera Firma's creation... I should know, I was there." he was talking to himself.

"Did it Bing or did it say bing?" Fox shouted over the debris. "There's a diference. Bing means time vortex residue, the word bing means energy. time vortex residue is interesting but no help."

Josey sighed and continued scanning, not bothering to answer his question since she hadn't found anything after all. "I wasn't running away." She called out to him, referring to his claim she was jumping ship. "You were talking about me having a 'big life' to wake up to, and everything you said sounded like you were going to send me back." She paused, letting the scanner take a minute to load over a deep pile of trash.

"I thought you decided you didn't want me to come along after all." Her forehead suddenly creased. "And do you talk to all your friends the way you talk to me? Or am I just special?" She looked back in his direction. "Just because I've never had a friend before, doesn't mean I don't know when something is wrong. If you've done something to offend or hurt someone, you don't do it again. Otherwise you're not a friend, you're cruel. And I don't know if even all of Time and Space are enough of a bribe to make me want to travel with someone like that. I've had enough of being kicked around in my life."

She frowned, her heart pounding for having stood up for herself. She didn't usually like confronting people, not at least before she'd had a beer or two. Normally she just kept quiet and pretended it didn't bother her. Her experience told her there was no use fighting back because it never changed anything. But, in their short time together, Josey had seen that fighting could change things, sometimes...

She turned to scan in a new area, didn't see a piece of rock. Josey's shin hit it and she tripped, landing hard on the ground and scraping her elbow and forearm to match the bruise and scrape the rock had left on her shin. She swore and bit back tears as she kicked the rock lightly with her foot. "There's nothing here!" She shouted, frustrated.

Fox stood up and stepped back up onto the metal pile and jumped back down onto the soil beside Josey, sat on the floor. He knelt down and shone the sonic flash light over her injuries. "You'll be fine." he told her, sitting down next to her and leaning back.

"I'm guessing I've hurt your feelings, offended you, or both." he said, looking up at the red and black sky. He held his sonic flashlight in his hand and laid it on his legs. "I'm sorry." he said, in a heart felt manor. "I'm not human, I don't always know whats going to offend your people, just know that I don't mean it that way, and tell me when I'm being rude."

He looked sideways at her. "Here." he said, getting up and disappearing into the TARDIS. he came back out with his jacket and reached into it's pocket. He smiled and pulled out a key. He dropped it into the girls lap. "That;s a tardis key. I knwo its only your second day, but I think you've earned it."

Fox picked up the energy detector adn looked at the screen. "Wait... did I say bing means T.V.R. or the word bing does?" he asked, standing up. "Doesn't matter, looks like you found some." Fox looked up and raised his flash light, shining across the floor.

Josey sniffed, rubbing her shin where it was throbbing, inwardly cursing her bad luck as her head, arm and leg were all smarting from the knocks they'd gotten just since they landed.

"I keep forgetting you're not human." She said. "I'm sorry if I've been difficult. I don't mean to be." She looked down. "You were right, though, I don't have any experience with friends...Just what I've read in stories and stuff." She shrugged and avoided his face when he looked side ways at her before he ran off to the Tardis and came back.

Josey took the key from her lap, a small smile tipping up the corners of her mouth. "Thank yo-" She was cut off as he took her energy detector and looked at the screen.

"You said the sound-" She was cut off again. "I did? Does that mean we can go?" she asked eagerly.

Fx looked at Josey as if t say 'don't be s stupid' "No. But it means we'll be able to eventually." He stood up and pulled his flash light out, aiming it around the floor until he found the spot. "Here." He said, holstering the sonic and drouching down. he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small plastic childrens spade.
He began to dig. it took a little while but he eventually stepped back and grinned down at the slightly glowing power cell on the floor. "T-27 drive core power cell, origin; New Earth year 70billion. Original purpose; power modual for X-45 light cruisers, X46Medium cruisers adn Y-12-G transports." He spoke as if reciting a manual, the emotion was absent from his voice. he blinked as if comign out of a trance and turned to Josey. "Bit small for the Tardis but we only need it to charge her up to get us off this world. maybe seal it off itself."
Fox crouched down and grabbed a hold of each side and pulled. By time it was heavy! He managed to drag it out of its buial site adn half way to the TARDIS before taking a break. it was almost as big as he was and at least three times his weight. It was never like this when he was fighting the Daleks. it was allways hand held devices, never had to drag anything. why was she so unlucky? he shook his head sitting on the power cell.
"Hey," he said, pulling off his jacket and throwing it to her. "Where do you want to go next? You kind of threw me for loop with the whole wanting to leave thing, I forgot what I was doing." he admitted. "But once we get back into space where do you want to go? anyone you'd want to meet?"

He wiped his brow with his sleeve. "What about Agatha christie? I bet she'd be great. You want to meet Agatha Christie? Ooh, or we could go to Septimus Major, it's the seventh and eighth planet in the Tronjen system. its called 7 major because it revolves around another, smaller planet, they spin around each other and their sun. The smaller ones called Septimus Minor, they swap position from the star every day. And because of the way the planets revolve neither is the others moon, its an anomoly."
Fox smiled, stretching. "How about Terra Firma? its a small planet on the outskirts of the galaxy, nice, quaint. might be a nice break."

Josey listened carefully as Fox described what the energy thing was, her head tilting to one side a little. He had absolutely no emotions, no anything. Just like an instruction manual. Josey raised one eyebrow at him, wondering if that was normal.

"Small for the Tardis?" She asked, mouth agape as she struggled to her feet with a wince. "Is the Tardis bigger than the ship this came from?" She hobbled after him, her leg hurting still. "And the human race lasts to the year 70 billion?!" She tried to help him push the thing for a little bit of the way, but had to stop, as her arm and leg were stinging fairly badly.

Josey caught his jacket as he threw it at her and draped it over her shoulders like a cape. "I didn't actually want to leave." She said. "But, as far as where to go next..." She thought for a moment, chewing on her lower lip. He made wonderful suggestions, but for some reason she could only think of one. She just wasn't sure it would be possible.

"...Do you..." She paused. "Would it be..." She stopped again, fidgeting. "...Do you think we could...maybe go back in time and..." she walked over and leaned against the powercell next to him. "...And find my parents?" She looked up at him quickly and then down at her fingers that she was wringing together in front of her. "It's probably some law against it with the space time continuum or something, huh?" She laughed.

"Forget I said anything. Terra Firma's probably a better idea. We could do with a break."
PostPosted: Mon Jun 06, 2011 3:29 pm

Fox raised an eyebrow at Josey. "Hey, dont even remotely compare an earth ship with my TARDIS. The TARDIS is the sports car of the universe! Your earth ships are skate boards at best!" He got up and rubbed his hands together, grabbign the power cell and pulled it closer to the TARDIS. He managed to get it to the door before he had to sit back on the top.
She continued to talk, sitting next to him.

"It... no, it's not against the rules. So long as you dont go talk to them or touch your child self" Fox admitted, looking down at his boots. "But I don't think... it's not a good idea." he sighed. "I'm sorry but... you are who you are because you lost your family, I dont think it'd be a good idea. I do have a good idea for where to go though." He said. He put an arm around her and held her tightly for a second before releasing her and standing up, shooing her off of the cell to push it inside.
It moved slowly up into the ship and up the ramp. Fox followed it in as he continued to push with his whole body.

Enter from Fox's Tardis

Fox stepped out and looked aorund at the planet. "You ever draw me as Chibbi and I'll drop you off on the planet of the Chibbis, see how you like hanging around with a bunch of chibbi people when they are trying to paint you!" he threatened, pulling his flash light out and wandering forward. He flashed again, unsure of why. Something was just making him want to know more.

"I'm going to look around, see what trouble I could get into, you might want to go rest or paint while we're here, it'll probably be very dull and boring." He told her. "very boring stuff, I wouldn't feel offended if you'd had enough of me."

Fox turned back to the world. He didn't knwo why he was trying to keep her inside, he just knew he wanted to. Why? Why?
Fox stepped away from the TARDIS and shone the flash light down at the floor, they were still on Klom. Terra Firma was North... if this planet had a north... so what was south? and why did he have shivers running down his spine?
PostPosted: Mon Jun 06, 2011 4:16 pm

Josey followed him to the doors of the Tardis, but didn't go out. She didn't like this planet. It was just...it...it gave her the creeps. It felt like they were walking through the decaying skeleton of a corpse, but she couldn't contain her surprise.

"There's an actual chibi planet?!" She exclaimed, practically squeaking. "How cute is that?! Can we go? Please!?" She held onto the door frame of the Tardis and jumped up and down once as she watched him looking around.

He mentioned taking a walk around and the artist was more than half relieved when he told her she could just stay in the ship. "...Yeah. I do have that one painting half finished, I could take a look at it again..." She said slowly, feelinga little guilty for letting him go alone. "...Just, don't get into too much trouble..." She said.

A thought struck her, "But what happens if I need you, or something goes wrong while you're gone with the Tardis...or what if an alien shows up?" She suddenly didn't like the idea of being left alone here. "Or what if you get hurt and need help and I don't know how to find you?" She walked over to him and put a hand on his arm, looking up nervously before glancing around at the surrounding area of garbage.

Fox smirked. "Yes theres an actual chibbi planet. It's not cute at all, they've viscious little buggers. Sure they're all paint and cup cakes when they're happy but annoy them and... well... google mass murder with nothing but a paint brush and you'll come fairly close."

Dont get into too much trouble? come on! who did she think he was? "come on, Jose, it's me." he grinned. "Besides, I'm more worried about you without my good luck to cancel out your bad luck." He thought for a moment and then noticed the energy device laying discarded on the floor. He bent down, picked it up and pulled the metal detector attachment off, throwing it to her. "on the fifth console piece from the left theres a phone. pick it up and dial 369 and it'll go through to this thing." he held up the iPhone 4. "I'll come running... well... walking briskly if its not that important."

"if I get hurt I'll call you." he promised. "Now don't lose that TARDIS key, only four in existence and I already lost one on the cusp of a black hole, never getting that back, and I cant have just anyone getting on the TARDIS."
he nodded to her adn stuffed his hands in his pockets before starting off in a Southern direction. He waved over his shoulder and started watching the ground for any indication that the earth changed.
