Pressure on his back, his sides, his head, his legs, everywhere. Darkness, absolute. Despite it all, he felt no fear. They sung for him, the sound passing down through the layers of dirt and rock, their words indecipherable but the intent clear. Buried alive, he gave his spirit to the earth. [x]

Buried Alive says little. Instead he listens, he smiles and he waits. When the time is right, he will react. He is a brave creature, and will not balk in the face of duty, but he is also cautious and intent on taking things at his own pace. Voices wash over him, he feels their heat brush across him and he remains content, taking it all in without judgement. Even the loud and abrasive will find him a friendly force. Only violent death can rock his calm… and then he sings.

Torn Open’s life is complicated. He met the love of his life as a colt, as she stood at the edge of a pool and stared down into the water with so much sorrow in her eyes it made his heart skip a beat. When he stepped forward to greet her and her face blossomed with a hesitant joy, he was done. Then she said ‘you remind me of my brother’. He left and spent years searching for his mother and the truth. Surely it was impossible that the one doe in the swamp he had ever loved would be related to him. When he finally found Only Dreaming, she uttered his father’s name: Eternity. He returned to his aunt and each time he speaks her name, his heart is torn open a little bit more.

Personality: [Haughty... something something]
Rocks is usually not around, but when she is, she’s better than you. She admires her brother’s tenacity, but he’s simply trying to hard. Mixology is hardly the art he makes it out to be. She nonchalantly slips an exotic item or two into his new concoction and watches his face when he realises that the drink is suddenly so much better. It’s good for him to be taken down a peg or two is what she tells herself as she strolls back into her little brother’s life time and again, but really, she just likes to watch him squirm.
… and the other one? Oh, well he is hardly as amusing as Shaken but she does afford him some attention now and then. She’s sure she’ll find a use for him eventually.
