Contrary to popular belief, Persian food is very different from the standard "hummus, shwarma, falafel, etc." one would find at most Middle Eastern restaurants. Many Persian dishes consist of unique stews with basmati rice, and of course there is kabob @_@ I made this last weekend ^^:  It is called "loobia polo" (literally, bean rice xD). It is delicious! lol. We also tend to eat everything with yogurt (there is some in that picture xDD)... I have also never met a non-Iranian who likes "doogh" (yogurt soda), which I think is awesome but my friends seem to disagree sweatdrop AND lots of tea!! biggrin Yay! biggrin

I love Iranian food, especially mirza ghasemi, fesenjun, ghorme sabzi, ash, khoreshte bademjun, dolme, dizi and chelo kabab (especially koobide).
Does anybody here like kale pache? xd
