So I was in the Dragon Graveyard and I encountered 4 of the slug guys that you can encounter in there and with them was a Metal King Slime. I encountered a couple before and I knew it would most likely run so I just ignored it. The game then told me that the enemies were too stunned to move so I thought I would try to kill the slime. Hero & Angelo, Metal Slash, I think I had Jessica attack, and Yangus used Executioner I believe. Angelo strikes first for the standard 1 damage, but then Yangus, being the total badass he is, hit the King Metal Slime! 196 damage, over-kill beyond belief. I fell to the floor in awe afterwards and stayed there for 5 minutes. Anyone else have a lucky encounter like that with a Metal King Slime?

Executioner and Thunder Thrust (which is why it's recommendable for the Hero to equip lances) are moves that ignore defence as well as inflict criticals, so do use those whenever you encounter Metal Slimes.
That being said, I recall many lucky moments throughout the series seeing as I have terrible luck when it comes to Metal Slimes, as they run away at a drop of a hat. :<

The Lolwut Pear Executioner and Thunder Thrust (which is why it's recommendable for the Hero to equip lances) are moves that ignore defence as well as inflict criticals, so do use those whenever you encounter Metal Slimes. That being said, I recall many lucky moments throughout the series seeing as I have terrible luck when it comes to Metal Slimes, as they run away at a drop of a hat. :< Its the fact that Executioner has 50% chance of hitting. Whenever it comes to 50% chance of success at anything, my luck turns it into 25-45% chance of success.

I was on the Howlwind Hills, the hills near Rydon's tower, for a bit, and I ran into six liquid metal slimes and a Metal King, all at once. Hero and Yangus tore it up with Lightning Thrust and Executioner, and Angelo was critting like mad. Dear god the exp made me cry like a kid at a candy store who just bought the whole store. I was so happy!

I've seen metal kings maybe twice even at howlwind hill and they both ran away stressed
