I just saw an "It Gets Better" commercial on CBS. I think it just made my day; It was a collection of short "It Gets Better" videos and inspirational videos. And then it ended as a sort of "Google Chrome" commercial . . . But still. XD What do you guys think of LGBT support being televised? What do you think about the message being tied into other products/companies? EDIT: I found the commercial!

Well now, that's one more reason to like Google.
I can honestly say, this is one of the few commercials I teared up a little watching.

I think it's fantastic that we're starting to get into mainstream.
Any lgbt member who doesn't want us to be in the mainstream doesn't truly want equality.

The commercial itself was awesome. When I was gonna look at the comments I thought I was gonna see a lot of "YEAH!"s and "GO GOOGLE!"s. But nope. All I saw the 40 yr olds going, "Look at this filth! Gay is NOT OKAY." and "WOW THIS IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR MY CHILDREN. AND ON NATIONAL TV?!" this is so sad.. emo
Oh well. I'm sure it will get better.

I've lived with Toy Story for my whole life (the movies came out in 1997-8 when I was born I believe) and to see Woody on there kinda teared me up a bit :')

I love that commercial. It made me cry. They were very clever to include both everyday people and celebrities in it. I thought putting Woody in there was especially genius, because there are little kids who are gay and/or transgender and they are very often left out of the support network.
