I had the strangest dream last night. It all started when I went camping with some of my friends. We decided to camp by this lake, but the locals in the nearby town warned us not to do so. They kept saying the lake is cursed with evil beings that come up out of the water to kidnap young girls and to drown them never to be seen again. We all laughed saying it was all supersticious mumbo-jumbo. The locals all so said the creatures get active during storms. We just ignored the warnings, which I guess we shouldn't have, and went camping by the lake.
The day was fine, and nothing bad happened. Then out of the blue a storm had it. Then from the lake out popped a man like creature, but he was covered in a slimy green gilly like suit...it was freaky looking. It swam toward our r.v. and smashed the window in, it grabbed my arm then licked me...I was like "eewww what the hell!" Then it looked my other two friends, and it decided to take away the second of my friends. I told it drop her and take me instead. I told it I was willing to go, although that was lie.
The monster dragged me out of the r.v with me kicking and screaming. It then took me underneath the lake. I was being dragged and I couldn't hold my breath....and then in plain english it told me to drink this stuff that would help me breath underwater. I did what I was told, cause I wasn't going to drown. It took me to this underwater cavern...in the entrance were human remains I shuttered when I saw them. At the entrance the monster took of its suit thing, and then I saw what it really was it was pretty much human, except it had gills and webbed fit, and scales on its skin. I asked it what it was, and again in plan english...it said a Gillywig. That I entered the underwater kingdom of Gillywigia. I was dragged down to become his wife. I told him no, I couldn't be his wife...I have friends and family, and I am not entirely human either...because I am part fae. He then said he understood this, but it was my sacrafice for my friends that made him want me to be his wife.
He locked me away in this underwater room. I was shackled down so I wouldn't escape. The monster thing the gillywig was the prince, and his mother was the queen. His name was Jairik and I was rooming with his cousin Lolosha. The queen came and visited me, and told me why I was dragged down her.
It was an ancient tradition for Gillywigs of royal blood and decree to marry a human girl or vice-versa.The queen was actually a girl that got dragged down in the 1980's her name was Margret Tillan. When she became part of the Gillywigs they changed her name Queen Quilliajia. She knew I was part fae, and they told me I need to use my fae name around them, that my name Katie or Catherine was like a slave name to them...Eolsmi was my name to them. I asked them if I could see my family or friends again. She said yes, when you awake you can, but in your dreams and when you sleep you will belong to us. She said every morning they will leave a mark. Then I woked up to find shackle like marks on my wrists and ankles.

Did I entered another realm through my dreams, or was I attacked by something that wanted to keep me for itself? I am so confused!!!

Wow interesting...I had the same dream last night, and I woke up with the same things on my wrist. It is really weird, although they kidnapped me, they really don't seem hostile, they just don't want me to leave...it is really really weird.

I agree with King, though I advise you to be careful. If you wake up with shackle markings, imagine what you could wake up with if they attack you.

Well to be honest this isn't the first time I have been attacked by someone or something in my sleep. I believe once I went under a possession because all through the night my body temperature kept rising, and I kept waking my self out dream state growling...it freaked me out because the next morning I found three long claw like scratch marks on my chest and on my face. Anyways I really haven't felt an imminate threat from the Gillywigs they just want to keep me to themselves for awhile. I have been taking precautions so thanks for worrying.
