I feel as though even if we didn't give birth to them, they are our adopted children and we deserve a day to celebrate everything we deal with for our furry friends. heart
You do a great job, even if they decide to eat something they shouldn't or wake you up early to be let out on your day off, you still love them and treat them like members of the family.
Happy mothers day!~ Keep doing what you're doing, you're doing a wonderful job and your pets appreciate it so much. =]

I second this! I am not having a very happy Mother's Day because my ALTG Lizard, Houlihan just died, and now I am watching her mate, Hawkeye like, well, a hawk for signs that he might be ailing.
But really, I do consider my pets my kids and am grateful to have them in my lives. Happy Mother's Day, pet moms!!!

My pets are my babies and today I told MY mother about my youngest (and biggest) baby. My nearly three year old Paint filly. My mom was tearing up with pride because I've trained this horse by myself. I was ready to cry myself when my horse didn't act like her usual bratty self even though with how nervous I was showing her off to my mom, she totally could have.
