What would you define each of them as?
How do they differ from one another?
How are they similar?

I would consider mysticism an attempt to understand spiritual beings, truths, etc. It involves some sort of search or experience, regardless of whether it's real or imagined.

I consider superstitions behaviors that don't have any sort of experience or greater meaning behind them. When people throw salt over their shoulder or knock on wood without having any idea why they do it, that's an example of something i would think of as strictly superstitious.

To me mysticism refers to personal experiences with divine or religious energies and the knowledge or wisdom gained from it. These are subjective and can’t be proven to others but are real to the one who experienced it.

Superstition is a social concept. They are generally actions or rhymes that speculate as to why something bad occurs and possibly how to avoid or subvert that cause. Over the years as science has proven the actual causes many of the reasons behind these actions have been forgotten, altered, or become a bit of a joke. However because they were so deeply rooted in the social psyche people still continue to act them out either out of habit or because the original reasoning feeds on an intrinsic human fear.
