About Me

I'm a domestic tomboy with hippie tendencies married to a disabled Army veteran who is two parts computer geek and one part WTF crazy. Together we just bought our first house where we live in chaotic bliss with our three daughters, two felines, coon hound puppy, and a refugee beta fish.
My day job is working in the clinical research unit of the local hospital as a Medical Assistant Specialist, which is basically a fancy way of saying I do a lot of the things that most people think nurses do, like taking blood pressure, drawing blood, placing I.V. lines, doing EKG, assisting with medical procedures. Basically assisting patients, doctors and nurses with whatever they need help with.
I am a Pagan and Hedge Witch of 13 years, which has given me a practical knowledge of these practices. My path is nature centered and largely intuitive. Though most of my workings and celebrations are performed as a solitary I do occasionally work with a small circle of other solitaries, the most frequent collaborator being my best friend of 20 years.
Other random facts about me: I love to write stories and poems when the spirit moves me, make all sorts of magic in the kitchen, grow food and flowers in our garden, read tarot cards, mix up my own tea blends, knit up this and that and get lost in books or a song.

Oh, gotcha! I've heard about how a lot of twins usually have developmental issues. Typically in the legs or head. If she is in it for 23 hours a day would the 1 hour be for things like bathing?
