Bio: Having graduating from Yorkshire Naval Academy at a young age, Jonathan has exhibited a strong intellect, and he exploited that to become a top advisor and strategist to the admiral of the English/British Naval Fleet. Having led a successful campaign against the French Navies, he has earned a reputation as "Invincible Graves". However, during the Battle of Bethony Bay, the English/British captain, whom Graves was assigned to, in his own arrogance and 'insight', refused to heed the advice of Jonathan, thereby turning the entire fleet into a sinking wreckage at the hands of the French, with only the flagship escaping under a hail of cannonfire. Because of this, Graves felt betrayed by the fleet and officers he served with. Docking for emergency repairs in Port Royale, Jonathan quickly fled under the cover of night. He has not been seen serving under the Union Jack ever since. While he has no more love for the English/British Navy, he does still have some respect for them, and will hesitate to attack a ship flying the Cross of Saint George or the Union Jack.
Personality: Jonathan is educated and well-versed, prefering to engage in intellectual debates with the officers rather than drinking games with the crew. However, he is not arrogant or short-sighted, and will willingly raise a mug or ten with his fellow shipmates if he deems morale is heavily damaged. When dealing with his enemies, he always treats them with his full respect, as enemies can be just as tactful and decietful as his friends. While flirtatous at times, Graves has no plans of actually settling down or getting serious. Prefering intelligence to might, he shy's away from a physical fight, though he is fully willing to bring any conflict to it's resolution.
Appearance: Jonathan has bright green eyes and long brown hair pulled back into a pony tail. He still wears his English/British uniform with pride, though it is mixed and matched with different articles of a pirate officer's uniform. Jonathan's only weapon at hand is a dagger, sheathed at his waist, though his intellect helps avoid any bloodshed he encounters. He almost always seems to be carrying around a map or two, "just in case".
