Annora's Customs and Breedings - CLOSED

Rather than opening and closing this thread at particular times, because I often forget to schedule such things until the last minute, I've decided to treat my customs as a CC/Bribe thread. What that means is that people are welcome to post at any time for a custom or breeding/adoption, and I'm free to choose the request, or pass over it, for whatever reason. While bribes will sometimes help me to choose one request over another, they are certainly not a guarantee.

Here are some things that I look for that may help your request appeal to me over others:
A well-thought-out design, with very specific colors. Hex codes or palettes from Colourlovers are particularly helpful here.
Roleplay. This shop is based on a world created by myself and Draigathar, and we have long-term, extensive plans. Seeing people actively working with their characters, and seeing roleplay reasons for a custom or breeding, will certainly help to entice me.
Creativity and amusing ideas. I don't want to do ten million blue-and-white-with-swirls designs. I want to shake it up a bit, and stretch my wings a little. Hit my sense of humor, and that will also make me more likely to pick your request.

As far as pet trades go, as it says below, I do love the thought of them, so even if your name is not on my list, don't hesitate to at least try! And as far as bribes go, while they are not a guarantee, they are certainly often helpful, since I tend to be a very happy spender, and like money coming in as well as going out.

One final note: When the title says I'm closed, that means that only a very large bribe will entice me to open, because I'm generally backlogged either here or in other aspects of my life, and need the time to calm down and gather my wits again. You're welcome to PM or post regarding a bribe, but be aware that your chances of acceptance are much smaller. When the title says I'm open, I'm entertaining all requests.

As a colorist, I'm open to all sorts of trades, from B/Cs to art, to items specifically for my character. I like such trades, because it's not all about the money (which is always nice, but...). Instead, it's about two people getting what they want, and for me, that's a lot more fun.

In B/C Pets, I tend to look for shops with amusing or interesting concepts, artwork that appeals, and no homing requirements. A really good example of this sort of shop is Matope, where roleplay is avidly encouraged, but never forced on anyone, and people can disappear to deal with Life for months or longer, and return to find that their kimeti have not been rehomed. In addition to that, Matope has an immersive storyline and world, and artwork that goes beyond the scope of 'pixel' pets into serious, engaging beauty. I also, however, look for reasonable prices (shops where the breeding fee is 500k make me laugh), and most important of all, a welcoming community. There is nothing quite so heartbreaking as discovering a shop with a fantastic storyline and artwork, only to be frozen out by all the cliques in place. Everyone is a newbie to a shop at some point, and if I'm going to stay, I need to see that newbies are treated gently and well.

Art styles that appeal to me are very subjective, so please don't be afraid to try, but also realize that if I say no, it's not because your artwork is bad. Instead, it's generally because the style just doesn't get me going for whatever reason. I'm a picky woman when it comes to trades.

Finally, Gaia Items... This one is at once the hardest and the simplest of all. It's the hardest because there's a great deal that simply does not fit the character of Annora, and thus, she will not wear it. She is a formal woman by nature, preferring stylish dresses. She will never do 'cute', and she almost never wears any sort of pants or slacks or what have you. However, it's also the simplest of the lists because I have a Gaia Items wishlist in my profile that you can check. I will not take items worth less than the custom price of the Long, however, unless you're offering multiples in order to make up the price difference. My list of Gaia Items is long because I tend to like to squirrel my money away by investing in them.

One last note: You may contact me for pet or art trades even if my customs are closed, and you may use higher priced items on my Gaia Items wishlist to try to bribe me. However, I do consider bribes to be more expensive, because you're asking for a spot that isn't open, so bear that in mind when you're trying to bribe me. I generally consider a fair bribe something that is roughly 2.5-3x the normal price.
